Can VMS be used to upgrade IPS version (not sig)
Can VMS be used to upgrade the IPS version on sensors? Or do you have to log into each sensor and upgrade that way?
VMS (and it's little brother CSM) were designed to apply all the updates; signature, Service Packs and even (when you're lucky) Majot Updates. VMS is a management tool, allowing you to manage more sensors than if you had to log into each one by hand.

If they are the grey discs which came with the iMac, then they will be machine specific and will not work on the MBP anyway. You will need to purchase a retail copy of Snow Leopard from the Apple Store for about $29 and upgrade from that. I presume your MBP is Intel and not G4.

After the upgrade, all AP's reported back to the controller and looked like working. We have 50+ branch sites that connect back via Layer 2 to the main office. The main office SSID's were broadcasting and users could connect and get the proper IP's. Users that connected back through FlexConnect AP's couldn't obtain an IP address. The client would authenticate to the WLC and accept the SSID key, but would not get an IP address. I see with the 7.4.100.0 upgrade there are more options for DHCP for each interface, which we don't use interfaces for all sites as we did in the early days, now we make sure the flex connect tab has the vlan identifier in the tab and the traffic goes out the local firewall etc. Each remote site has a Linux based firewall and DHCP server.
Looking for any insight with the 7.4.100.0 upgrade that may cause clients to not connect and obtain an IP address.
We have since back dated our WLC Software to: 7.2.111.3 to allow things to work pre upgrade which everything worked fine.
Any suggestions would be great, we had to upgrade version 7.4.100.0 to support our AP 1602.

MattVerify that you have an upgraded FUS image. Second, make sure your WLAN to vlan mapping on the FlexConnect AP's have the correct vlan mapping. I have seen these change to the default vlan mapping.

You need to reinstall the Mail app from your install discs. -
To switch PCs, do I need the original install disk or can I just use the upgrade download and s/n?
I need to download my Acrobat 9 Pro on a new PC, but I cannot find my original product installation disk for Acrobat 8. I have my serial # and the download link for the Acrobat Pro 9 upgrade. Do I need to install Acrobat 8 first, and then download the upgrade? How would I do that without the installation disk?

You say that you have Mac OS X 10.7.5, so if it came preinstalled, see that you can't reinstall it because it's registered to the old owner. Call Apple to get replacement DVDs

My Toshiba laptop is only a couple months old. I have checked to make sure everything is updated. Ever since I've installed Mozilla, it crashes when I open it. It will stay up for anywhere between 5 and 15 seconds before it crashes. When I open Mozilla after the crash, it works fine. I have tried all the suggested troubleshooting and am tired of waiting through that first crash to use the internet.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

A few weeks ago I bought Lightroom 4.1 Student/Teacher. I saw that Lightroom 5 is coming out soon, if I buy it, can I still use my 4.1 version? Could I even register Lightroom 5 with the same proof that I am a student that I used for registering Lightroom 4.1? I have Lightroom 4.1 on my laptop and was thinking about buying Lightroom 5 for my PC. But I don't know if I can still buy the Student/Teacher version!?

Thanks for the help!The upgrade price is the same as what the student version costs. I purchased an academic version of Lightroom 4, and upgraded to Lightroom 5 online/download. There were no problems, and you don't have to do any of the student verification stuff. I still have both versions installed and active on my computer.

The problem appears only with Mail not with other programs, not even with my browser.
When I try to zoom the text of an e-mail I received or sent , I can no longer use the keys Command + to enlarge the text, although I can reduce it with Command -.
As I have a problem with my eyes, This is a serious matter for me.
When I write an e-mail, if I select text and press Command +, it just displaces the text to the right.
Now, my husband has a USB keyboard. If he connects it to my computer, his regular Command + does not work either, but he uses the extended keyboard, then it works. Unfortunately, he needs it for a musical application which does not work with a wireless keyboard.Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10". -

but to upgrade you will need to purchase an iLife DVD from ebay or Amazon or other source - older versions of iPhoto are not available from the App Store - either iLife '09 or '11 will work on 10.6.8
beware that sometimes books (albums are logical organzational elements in iPhoto) sometimes will change with upgrades so you may need to make some changes after upgrading - be sure to carefully preview prior to ordering the book
