??Can VZW activate a UK version of the galaxy tab so it can make a phone call here in the US??

The devices from the UK are not compatible with the network in the US and vice-versa. I am sorry for any inconvenience. I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 7 now my phone constantly deletes all my contacts and takes days to download them from my iCloud again, constantly needs to be turned off and on sometimes several times to make a phone call, the scroll rarely works, is there anything I can do, the apple tech told me it was something I'd just have to get used to, my phone worked perfectly before the update.
Even if it is a hardware problem they should fix it regardless of warranty. If you buy a car and after 1.5 years the doors fall off due to a failure in their design and construction, do you think the car manufacturer could pull off what Apple is trying to do? Yes the car still delivers its primary objective of driving from A to B, but significant functionality has been lost due to their fault.
It is the same with this iPhone wifi problem. Apple are a disgrace, I have had significant Apple Hardware failures with my MacBook Pro and iPhone within 2 years of purchase. Pathetic quality. -
How do I change my phone settings on my iPhone 5 so that when I make a phone call while I am on the phone call my phone stays lit up. It never goes black so I am constantly hitting other buttons while I try to talk like mute or FaceTime or speaker! Please help this is so annoying! It's like all I need to do is fix the settings somehow and I have gone through all of my settings and I can't find where to do this!
Is the phone in a case? Try taking it out of the case. If that doesn't work, then your proximity sensor is broken. You'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

After upgrading to the new iOS7, I can't send out sms, I can receive sms, can make and receive call. I have already contacted my network provider, we changed sim card, I have tried to put my sim on other phone, and it's perfectly working. Help me pls.
To be honest not being able to send or recieve messages and data is a carrier issue, not a phone issue since u said that your calls are working, if i were you my first course of action would be to get a new sim card from virgin mobile, or to restore the device as new one more time, if you restore the device as new AND get a new sim card from your carrier and those features still dont work, i would take the device to an apple store

If you have the computer that you first setup the phone with iTunes then just connect the phone to that computer via. the USB cable and see if a sync can be done.

My iphone 4 can make and receive calls but I cannot hear the person on the other end...they can hear me. I have tried plugging headphones in and resetting...any other ideas?
If you need to use the phone now, try using speaker phone until you can take it to an Apple store and have them further look into the problem.

Samsung S5 Issue (Can't Receive Phone Calls)
Hi everyone! I'm a bit new here but I just recently been having issues with my phone. After the recent update (the one that changed something from OC4 to OF2), my phone cant accept phone calls nor have the ability to make a phone call. My phone can still text (send and recieve) and connect to the internet (wifi & data). Since it was centered on calling issues, I wanted to check my call settings (specifically, I went to: Applications->Call->More Settings) but a popup appeared and displayed the following text: "Network or SIM card error". So far, I have tried a phone reset, checking my SIM card to ensure it's properly seated, and turning my phone off and on and to no avail. I don't know what else to do at this point. A friend of mine recommended me to visit a AT&T DSC but I wanted to consult here first and see if there's anything else I can do. Any help would be awesome. Thanks! *On a side-note, my friends and family have all tried calling my phone and they get a voice message stating that the phone isn't available or is disconnected. I do not think is a Samsung Issue, but an AT&T issue. I have an iphone 6 plus and I am having the smae problem. I cannot receive phone call suddently, but is lasting for over a day now. They are not offering any solution. They told me they had received a lot of tickets with the same issue all over different States, but no news of a solution. It seems the company is becoming way too big, maybe they cannot handle the volume. I do not know what it is, but it is anoying and I do not like it. I know it is not my iphone.

How can I receive phone calls in my iPad cellular?
I've an iPad wifi+cellular, shouldn't be able to do and receive call as a regular phone?

It would probably have a different cell phone number than your iPhone 4s to make and receive cell phone calls.
If you have cellular phone call service for your iPad air and not just data service, one should be able to use the iPad as a large iPhone.
If your service provider for the callular radio in the iPad air is only providing data service, then you may not be able to make and receive calls.
iOS8 introduced a lot of connectivity between Apple devices. You can make and receive calls on wifi connected devices to your iPhone, including an apple computer with wifi running MAC OSX 10.10. You can also send text messages through your iPhone using other Apple devices. It is as if you are remotely controlling your iPhone over the wifi connection with other Apple products. -
Can't get phone call out with volume.
trying to make a phone call and can't hear the ring tone or the person on the other end unless I put them on speaker phone. Any suggestions?
Well, there are two separate volumes for the iPhone. The ringer volume and then the earpiece volume. You control the ringer volume with the volume buttons on the outside of the iPhone. You also control the earpiece volume with those buttons, but can only do that when a call is connected. Another thing that can impact the ringer is if the mute switch, the tiny switch on the side of the iPhone just above the volume buttons. If that is on mute (orange dot showing) you wouldn't hear the ringer. That will not, however, impact the earpiece volume.
Try powering the iPhone off/on with the sleep/wake button and the slide to power off. If that doesn't help, then reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake and the home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. If neither of those two work, you may need to see the Genius.
One last thougth came to mind as I got ready to post this. If you press the volume buttons and look at the screen, does it just say ringer or do you see headphone under it? -

What it means, do you ant to make System Admin as a proxy user of any non adin user.
Go to proxy tab then you can select any user from there. AFAIK, user can make proxy to any user (including system admin).
