Can we assign two positios to a person with different CoCode

Hi,
We have a requirement where an employee is managing/working on a position under one Co.Code/OrgUnit 'A'. the same employee is managing/working on a position of another Co.Code/OrgUnit 'B'.
The employees Payroll is genarated by Org.Unit 'A' where as his travel related expences are paid from the resepective Co.Code/ Cost Centre.
There is NO staffing percentage shared by the company's,(hence in IT0001 only one position is assigned in PA) since the employees payroll is generated from Co.Code/Cost center of 'A' the staffing is assign 100% there where as 'B' staffing is considered as Zero.
Can this be a correct sollution ??? or will the solution impact our Payroll or other HR modules.

I think we can not use Management of Global employees, here as we are implementing for India public sector and the implementation is for India only. The Mgt of Global employees concept works for global employees not one country, please correct if I am wrong.
We have thought to use the Concurrent employment as well, but I think it should not be used for time mgt and personal data only - currently payroll is not in our scope of work.
Also we use only one employee number, who manages more than one position (where the payroll is generated from one position).
I am mapping the two positions for an employee in the Org Structure for the Org Chart display purpose, where as in PA I am using only one position of the employee for which the payroll is generated - I am still not confident if the positions are from two different company codes, also how far this mapping is appropriate.
I will really appreciate any help or suggestion on this.

Try assigning two values seperated by a delimiter ( say '|') to the same parameter.
In the function get the parameter value and seperate the values using the same delimiter.

is coming in that list but it shows the error saying that You are not authorized for activity 52 document type KPR...
when i try to do it under DRW it is allowing me to check in only for 2 documents when i try to attach 3 rd file it gives me an

Can I use two HP Pavillion 23bw monitors with my MBP with Retina Display?

Can I use two HP Pavillion 23bw monitors with my MBP with Retina Display with good video quality? I just purchased them and am already reading about issues with non-Apple External Monitors being used with MBP with Retina. Plus I just assumed it given the power of the video card, but I can turn off the display to my MBP and extend the two HP monitors correct? I do realize they won't have the picture quality of the retina display but I would hope they look reasonable with 1080p

This is an update on the question about the use of the Dell P2415Q 4K monitor with MacBook Pro 13" and 15" w/ Nvidia graphics card installed. The monitor works very well with both systems and is automatically identified when connected. The 13" machine with Iris Graphics defaults to 2560 x 1440 at 60hz. This was very workable, matching the Apple Thunderbolt Display for resolution. I was not able to set the display for full 4K at 3840 x 2160, even at 30hz. Just not enough horsepower with the basic Intel CPU with Iris Graphics. But make no mistake, the setup works well and the screen looks great.
The 15" with Iris Pro Graphics and the Nvidia GeForce GT 575M discrete graphics card also recognized the display and drove it at full 4K, 3840 x 2160, 60hz with no problems. Running in clamshell mode required a bit of fine tuning with the Apple display settings. But nothing major.
Due to a relatively small workstation, I selected the 24" version of the Dell monitor. If you are looking for a relatively large monitor with near "retina" resolution, the P2415Q is a perfect pairing for the MacBook Pro - and a terrific bargain. I paid $530 on the Dell website.

Get him to check he's got iMessage enabled.
Settings->Messages->iMessage needs to be 'ON'.
Also in the same screen check what addresses he has under "Send & Receive" to ensure you're using one of those (or his phone number).

Can i set up my drive as encrypted with different partitions for different versions of osx?

i have some questions about setting up an encrypted drive with different versions of osx installed on separate partitions, and how this choice effects time-machine and the emergency recovery disk.
I have a new/refurbished macbook pro with a SSD. it already has mavericks installed. i want to fully wipe the drive and reinstall everything my self because I'm odd like that.
first wiping the current drive
Does the recovery partition get wiped if i use disk-utility to reformat the drive. Even thought the recovery partition does not show up as a partition, when i look at it with disk-utility? i would like to know I've wiped all partitions so that no little bugger gets left with out me knowing. Disk-utility does not show the recovery partition and this makes me concerned it might not wipe it.
Does mavericks automatically make a recovery partition during the installation process? Or do i need to make a new 1gb partition for the recovery disk?
Can i have two different partitions on my drive with separate installations of OSX on it? (one for work that i don't update the system os till my current project is done, and the other for experimenting with new software.)

can i accomplish all this from a bootable usb drive or do i need to do this in target disk mode?

HT5071 Can more then one person (with different Apple ID's) use the same iBookAuthor Program to Publish (house hold computer)?

I want to publish my fathers books using iBooks Author. I'm going to set him up with an Apple ID, but he does not have a computer and I will be publishing it from my personal computer. I have my own Apple ID and wish to publish my own books using the same program on the same computer. Will this be an issue? or will I be able to switch Apple ID's upon pushing it to pusblish?

I have a free books account and later applied for a paid books account.
This required setting up a new Apple ID and not using the same email or passwords.
So they are two totally separate accounts - on my computer.
That part is not a problem for you and your father.
The other aspect is both will need to open an iTunes Connect account for each ID.
I dont see delivery as a problem.
The part I am not sure about in your case is iTunes - as I only have me as usuer on the computer its never been an issue, but there is a Family sharing option available.
The previous post is the best starting point as you will both need separate accounts.

We have a situation in a cloud deployment where the servers are automatically provisioned through a cloud portal with IP addressed from subnet A. Because we require static IP for clustering, the static IP can only be provisioned from subnet B for
use by the cluster. Is it possible to create a cluster from the two nodes in subnet A from a cluster IP in subnet B? I cannot find any mention of this particular network configuration for a Windows cluster. We are using the cluster to support
SQL Server 2012 AlwaysOn Availability Groups.

Can we have two clusters in same domain running different versions of WLS

I have not tested this yet but was looking for help from people who might have done this already.. Is it possible to have this scenario:
          create two independent clusters, say C1 and C2 as part of a single domain D. C1 has 2 managed servers running WLS8.1 and C2 has 2 managed servers running WLS7.0
          Can this be done?

It is definetely inviting for trouble.
          We can have two clusters from same version of weblogic server within a domain.
          If we have a WLS8.1 domain, the managed servers that we create from that domain should be from WLS8.1.
          As far I remember, its not a supported configuration to have different versions(major versions) of Admin and managed servers.

When i try to open two streams each on one monitor ( in fullscreen), the one opened second just overlaps the existing one.

Only one window can be in fullscreen at a time. Is it possible to keep the second on in a tab of the same fullscreen window?
