Not sure what version you're using but when creating the PR you can't create an attachment
I don't think, once you've saved it you have the option however to add an attachment. Unless
of course you're using Document Management where you can attach document to objects -
i.e a purchase req when creating.

But you cannot attach document while you create PO in T/Code ME21N
Save you PO ( ME21N ) and again open with change ( ME22N ) then you can attach document through Service for Object button. Service for Object button available down side of Command screen ( in your PO screen ME22N )
Click your Service Object button -> Create -> Create attachment
then select your window directory ( which file you need to attach) select your file Now your system shows message Service "Create attachment" is started.
Save again your PO. You can see (open) your attachment in same field ( Service for Object ) select and Create and check attachment list. You can attach as many document in your PO.

Over the last few days, this issue has been driving me up the wall too!
I downloaded Lion OS a few months ago, but it was only until a few days ago did i attempt to logon to Hotmail to check my account & send an email with an attachment.
Normally i use the MAC Mail app, which is synchronised to my hotmail account.
Anyway, I'm not sure whether the Lion OS is the root cause of the issue, however after much digging around on various forums - the issue for me was resolved by downloading the latest version of Microsoft Silverlight 5 (www.microsoft.com/silverlight). Its a free download....

I've down-loaded Lion, and now I can't attach documents when I send email. I use hotmail.

I down-loaded 10.8.2 and now I can't attach documents to emails. I use hotmail as my primary address. I receive an error message stating that the documents are corrupted. I had no problems with this prior to upgrading to 10.8.2. What can I do?

Can not attach documents or files to email along with lots of other problems

I can not attach any files or documents to an email. I am working on a Mac OS10.4. Have tried doing the F9 button as suggested in the help section and it totally froze my computer up to the point of having to unplug it and start my whole computer up. Also we can not finishing downloading Firefox 3.6.13

I can't attach documents to mail unless I use iPhoto

I can attach JPEGs using iPhoto, but I can't attach files to a message by using the "choose file" button when using the attach browser. When I drag items to the email it shows the green plus sign, but does not attach anything.
This use to work just fine, the only thing that has changed since then is that I installed Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac. Any ideas? Thanks

Can't attach documents to yahoo mail anymore

hey, everyone. i used to be able to attach files to my yahoo email by clicking attach file and choosing the file (whether it's a photo, pages doc, numbers file, etc).
now, for some reason, when i choose attach file from the yahoo mail page and the finder window pops up, all of my pages and numbers documents can't be chosen. they're in a light gray color and i can't click on them. i have no idea what could've caused this. i did search around the forums and ran disk utility and repaired disk permissions but that didn't do a thing.
i'd appreciate any advice y'all could give me.

fyi, so i call apple care support and find out that this is a normal security feature of leopard. they told me that it's designed to help keep mac users from passing on a virus to others via email. just hit file, compress to create a zip version of the file and then attach the zip file.

Can't attach documents to my email using Firefox - but I can from Chrome

This problem just started today. I use gmail for my email messages. When I tried to attach a document to my email, nothing happened and I was not able to add the attachment. When I switched to Chrome, I was able to add the attachment to my email.
Last night I had no problem adding attachments when I used Firefox. Today I can't.
Any suggestions?

Click Exceptions...
Type mail.google.com in address of website area
Click Allow
Try to open attachment window now.
Restart FireFox and try adding attachment again.

Can't attach documents to email on iPad?

Why won't apple simply put an "attach" button in its email? Is it possible that the iPad still cannot support multiple email attachments?
I mean at this point it is still impossible to attach multiple documents to an email you are composing on the iPad? When do we get that feature? iPad 10?
What makes this so hard for Apple to do? I do this all day on my Android devices. I have three iPads(1,2 and now 3) but found myself increasingly dependent on my Samsung Galaxy devices because of simple things like this that are so crucial but which Apple, in its imperial majesty, refuses to allow (same thing happened with Flash, Apple might win the argument in the long run, but will never be able to tell to what extent the lack of flash gave life to lesser competitors like Samsung and Amazon who are now able to look Apple in the eye). Apple could have allowed flash and simply phased it out -- or offered it as an option.
Anyway, Apple is increasinly forging its way into the enterprise domain. And yet you cannot email documents from the body of the email (as opposed to sharing a document from inside another app).
Why won't apple simply put an "attach" button in its email? This is so frustrating. Apple makes the easiest to use tech products in the world, and yet, it frequently refuses to allow the products to do the simplest things imaginable -- like send attachments from your email with ease.

Can not attach documents to email, no attach button when choose a file

When using my webmail on safari or Chrome it will attach a file. On Safari you can choose a file but no "attach" button. On Chrome when you press the paper clip to attach a file no action happen.

Comment or attach document for specific cell of data

Dear all,
Is it possible to create comment or attached document for specific cell of data in Webi report?
For example, the sales of certain product & yearmonth is lower than previous month. I want write some comment for that cell of data . Which function should I use? I try the "Discussion" function. But, it's for the whole report not for certain range of data and I can't attached document in there. Please advise.

Hi Jeff,
This one is the most popular request from most of our customers. But what we always tell the client is that the reports that are created in webintelligence are analytical in nature and it is not cell based. For every refresh of the report, you may get different results based on the parameters and your annotation will not hold good.
We suggest two methods to solve this issue. 1) Discussions - Standard text with the parameters used for refreshing and the observation. This would be a good option if the report is shared with many people.
2) Add a cell to the report, place it at the right place adjacent to the block which you want to observe. Make your comments in different colors. This would be good for reports which need to be presented to some audience.
The below link shows a prototype called Comment It for Crystal Reports. But I don't think this is available for webintelligence.

How to attach document to invoice and archive

From trans VF03 I can manually attach document via
System -> Service Object -> Create attachment.
Does anyone know how can I attach the real invoice image (PDF file) to the invoice in back ground mode because I want to attach document to every single invoice.
My final goal is to attach the document to billing document and archive them to an external storage system. Can some one point me to the right direction. Thanks.

That tools create only an hit in some tables where the path of attach document is stored (not file).
So you should check which are those tables.

Attach document to travel requests

We have a business requirement to attach detail documents to a travel request. The attached document is the proposed iterinary from the travel agency that shows estimated costs compared to lowest available costs, etc.
In transaction PR05 (create / update travel expense), we have the function to attach detail documents, but not in transaction TRIP (create / update travel request).
Any insight on how we can attach detail documents to a travel request will be much appreciated.

In addition to the last poster's suggestion - just so you know, it also depends on the email program the recipient uses as to how they will see any attachments - for instance, when I am using my Yahoo Mail, I am absolutely unable to view any attachment within the browser window - Yahoo forces me to download it; there is no way for me to check it (like a preview) to see if I want to download it or not.
And, FWIW: the window shown in the screenshot does not show on my version of Mail 5.1 (which is the latest for 10.7.2); the only one similar shows when viewing a message received with an attachment, not while sending one. So that must be a different version.
