Can we change the language of the worksets, pages at runtime??

Hi All,
We have EP6 SP9 installation.
We are developing Portal Applications using PDK.
I have a language dropdown list having the values English and French.
I want to know whether:
I can change the names of all the worksets, pages into french when i change from English --> French and viceversa in the dropdown.
For ex: if i have 3 worksets w1_english,w2_english,w3_english and i have 3 pages in w2_english say p1_english,p2_english,p3_english. If i change the dropdown value from English to French, the worksets(in the TLN) should display as w2_Fr(in french language) & pages below the TLN should display p1_fr,p2_fr,p3_fr (in french language).
Is it possible???

Hi Vijith,
I think I see your point. The thing I would say is have you looked at the translation worklist feature? With this you can set the names of iviews etc in different languages. It the chooses which language to use dependent on the language the user has set in their user profile.
So the names in the navigation should be translated automatically.

For Quiz Slides you've already added to your project file you will need to change the labels manually. If you change your Quiz Settings and Master Slides that control the defaults and then add new Quiz Slides, THEN those slides will carry your new settings.

I am new to applescripting and it's usage in Adobe Indesign.
I am trying to working on a requirement, where I need to make the language of Indesign document to "English: USA" in the dictionary preferences.
I tried to change the language in the preferences but somewhere this code is going wrong.
Any help and suggestions would be very helpful.

Yes indeed it works..
However, can we change the "Adobe Custom Dictionary" through apple script so that language of dictionary preferences gets changed. (if that happens).
I noticed that when we go to path:
Indesign---->Preferences---> Dictionary
The default dictionary has a path in our system library.. (I am still a learner so it's a new thing for me.. )..
The path changes from UK to US dictionary as:
'~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Linguistics/Dictionaries/Adobe Custom Dictionary/brt--------------> For UK DICTIONARY
'~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Linguistics/Dictionaries/Adobe Custom Dictionary/eng--------------> For US DICTIONARY
Is it possible that by changing the path we can change the default dictionary in preferences of AppleScript through scripting in Apple.
Just thought whether this can be a possibilty!

Lelisa it is only necessary to connect to the internet periodically to receive updates and validate your membership. If you have an annual membership you can be offline for up to 99 days. You can find additional details at Activation & Deactivation Help.
I would also recommend reviewing Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps which discusses adjusting the installation language.

If you have a MacBook, you have Mac OS X. To change its language, open System Preferences > Language & Text > Language, drag French to the first position and restart.

I created a java JApplet, with a JTextPane inside.
I want the user to be able to change the language using the
combination keys "alt + shift",
but when I'm pressing ALT I'm loosing the focus (to the browser),
so it's not working.
When I'm holding the ALT key, and than pressing the Shift key twice!, It is working.
How can I fix it so it will work with regular "alt + shift"?

It is an Apple isuue same as when you want to buy or download from the iTunes store.
I bought and registered (also credit card from Australia) mi iPhone 4s
Now when I came to Switzerland I should have NOT used my Australian details but registered everything here in Switzerland with Swiss credit card and probably a swiss email account.
My problem is opposite to yours, I can only download movies in English!!!!
What Apple could have done at least is give an option on undertittles so at least some movies are understud. It is no problem for myself but when I have friends over that do not understand the language we have problems.
I have had talks in Apple stores in Zuerich also in smaller Apple outlets, they all know about it as it is a common not problem but nuicance with Apples.
I hope I could shed some light to your problems but I think we can only hope that Apple will change theyr attidude to this **** situation.

I am relatively new to iBooks author. I've been creating a quiz with multiple answers. When I review my iBook on my iPad and only select one answer, it shows me a popup with the text "select more answers". Does anyone know how to change the language of that box? I'm working in German, iBooks author is set to German... I just can't figure out how I can change the language of that box.
Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, what you see in the popup when viewing the book in the iBooks app is supposed to take on the language of the OS. I don't know why it would not work on your iPad....

Go to the home page of the iTunes Store and scroll down to the bottom.
At 'My Store:', you will be able to choose your country.
