Can we delete Non-Primary Supplier ?

Can we delete Non-Primary or Inactive supplier from the Application, Is there any possibility(In Front end or Backend).
And we are using Oracle Financials over ORMS.

Hi Rahul,
the UI has no delete option.
The message subscribers RMSAIASUB_SUPPLIER and RMSSUB_SUPPLIER do not implement a delete.
So the answer seems to be No.
A direct delete on the supplier table might be possible, of course after resolving any foreign key issues.

An email address can only be used one account at a time, so if you want to replace it with an email address that is currently being used on another account then you will need to remove it from that account first before trying to put it on that account. You should be able to change the email address either by logging into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, or via http://appleid.apple.com

Can't Delete Non-Editable Region in Template?

Well, I can in existing templates but if I create a new one from an existing page using "Save as Template", when I try to delete a non-editable region in the template, DW won't let me. I don't know why. Aaaargh!
It's my understanding I should be able to edit anything in a template. I've tried existing DW and restarting. I've tried using other pages as a basis for the template. Every template I create won't let me delete non-editable regions. I'm highlighting the non-editable region and pressing the delete key. I can't delete.

Trust me, it is. I'm wondering if the problem is associated with the fact that the source page that I saved as a template was based on a template? I just noticed that this new template refers to another template. I'm thinking that means the other template is controlling what I'm trying to do in the current template.
That's it. I just tried saving a template under a different name (still retaining the correct template file extension) but did not do the save as template. Now I can completely edit that template. So you if you save a page that is controled by a template, as a template, that new template is controlled by the previous template.
I've got a headache now.

Satellite A660-k17: Can I delete both primary partitions used for recovery?

I have 3 questions :) #
1 - I have burned a dvd copy of recovery media, on a A660 k17 laptop.There are two partitions on the disk which i believe are there for recovery.The first is 1,46 GB and says that it is for recovery and another hidden partition of 8,29 GB..and i suspect that the first one contains the recovery wizard and the whole enviroment into which one will get through system repair and the hidden disk contains the actuall data with windows,drivers and so on.Can i delete these both?Mainly i ask about the first,if it isnt necesary for the system to boot or something after i recover the laptop to factory setting.
2 - and i also want to leave my partitions so that i dont have to partition the entire 600 GB C drive again.I have a D drive created but there is this reply to a thread already in forum http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=64754&tstart=90
that says that when i leave the partitions i have created myself, than the recovery will not be available.I have a copy on dvd but only to be sure i dont mess something up.
3 - When i want a clean system without some of the software that was preloaded on the oem recovery disk.. i have to use windows recovery? or it will be the same as the toshiba one?

First partition belongs to Win7 and it has nothing to do with Toshiba recovery image saved on HDD. This hidden partition is reserved for Toshiba recovery image. First partition should not be deleted. This small partition will be created before Windows installation starts. Leave it as it is.
Hidden partition should be there is you want to use HDD recovery installation but now when you have created recovery disc you can delete it and get more free space on HDD. If something goes wrong you can use created recovery disc for OS installation.

As I already wrote, when you have recovery disc you can do whatever you want but take care about this disc and place it on safe place.

Using created recovery disc you will have factory settings again and preinstalled OS as on the first day after purchase. If you want to have own OS installation you must use Microsoft installation disc.

Can't delete non-syncd podcasts in iTunes 7

I stopped syncing podcasts on my ipod a long time ago because i transfer from several different computers. In the old iTunes, these unsynced podcasts were easy to move and delete because they just appeared in the normal music list with genre "podcast". Now in iTunes 7, the "Music" list seems to automatically hide all podcasts. I can't figure out how i can delete them from my ipod. Any suggestions? In general, i think this issue needs to be addressed in the next iTunes update.

Does anyone from Apple read this board? How do we get their attention? They've had several updates and it still hasn't been fixed. This is really screwing me up, there's no way for me to make space on my ipod using itunes. It s*cks. I think I understand what prompted them to make this change, but i would think a lot of people use non-syncd podcasts and must be encountering this problem.

Can't delete primary zone in DNS after moving the server

Woe is me!
Our MacMini was hosted at a Colo site and working fine. No firewall in front of the machine, so we turned on the server firewall and only allowed mail, web, ftp, and a couple of other services. This worked great using our external public DNS wired to our domain names and public fixed IP address. Later, we got VPN up a running (the trick was to create a second, local IP address for the ethernet port), but this also required us to turn on the server's DNS to create a split-brained DNS server.
Everything was working swimmingly... and then we had a hard drive crash. Since we were thinking about moving the server onsite anyway (our POS system was accessed through the VPN, but it could be slow and made our tasting room dependent on Internet access in order to run the POS), we ordered Comcast business class internet with a fixed IP address.
We updated the external public DNS to the new public fixed ip. Rather than plug the mini directly to the Comcast router (which is in pass-through mode), we elected to put a AirPort Extreme in front of it, mainly so we could get all of the POS computers on the same local network without using the mini as a DHCP/NAT router. We created a DHCP reservation on the Extreme so that the mini had a fixed local IP address. We port forwarded everything we wanted to expose to the Internet. Email started to work again. However, web services and VPN are nada.
This being Snow Leopard Server and having spent literally hours debugging DNS issues when we first got the server, I knew it wouldn't be straightforward. And it hasn't been. Even changing the IP address of the server has been a chore.
We ran "sudo changeip <old IP address> <new IP address>".
Then we ran "sudo changeip -checkhostname" and received:
"$ sudo changeip -checkhostname
Primary address = 10.0.8.2 <new static internal IP address>
Current HostName = <servername>.<domainname>.com
The DNS hostname is not available, please repair DNS and re-run this tool.

Oh no, the black pit of death.
Even though I tried to modify the machine record in the local DNS to reflect the new internal static IP address, Nada.
So, looking back on my previous research from Mr Hoffman and others, I stopped the DNS service, and I deleted the primary zone and reverse lookups in order to rebuild them from scratch. Except that no matter what I do, I can't delete the primary zone - it comes back like Dracula (even though the reverse zone and all of the zone records are gone). I tried rebuilding everything using the undeletable zone, but after a few services (saved each one separately), they would suddenly disappear.
I am leery of messing with the DNS files on the server as I don't want to hose up Server Admin (my command line skills are rudimentary and slow). I have so much installed on the machine now that I am concerned about someone saying "reinstall".
Help!
Related to this is that it is not clear to me in web services which IP address you should use for the sites. The internal IP? The public IP? I thought Apache cared about the external IP address. And I think Apache is hosed at the moment due to my DNS troubles anyway.

For the external DNS server I am sure you have already deduced that it should be the static IP issued you by Comcast and this will be forwarded by your router to your server.
For your internal DNS server you could use either the internal LAN IP, or the external IP although the later might be affected by your firewall so this you will need to test.
For the Web Server service in Server admin, if your only running a single website you could avoid the issue by just using the wildcard entry which will respond to any IP address, so this would be an empty host name and an IP address of *
In fact you don't have to specify an IP address you could just use the hostname, so it will listen to traffic arriving at your server addressed to any IP address and as long as the URL that was requested includes the hostname you define for the site it will get responded to. So if as an example you have two websites you want to serve
www.example.com
site2.example.com
then as long as both have the IP address for the site as an * (asterisk) then both should work as separate sites for traffic addressed to either the LAN or WAN IP address of the server.
You will still need to use two IP addresses on the server to enable VPN, you could use a USB Ethernet adapter for the second one. Port forwarding for VPN is not as simple as other traffic as VPN requires traffic different to the standard IP and UDP packets. Routers that support 'VPN Passthrough' are specifically designed to accomodate this but I don't know if the AirPort Extreme does this. I have also found PPTP copes better with this sort of setup than L2TP although PPTP is generally regarded as less secure.

I just bought a new iphone 5 and decided to check out the icloud "stuff' so that I can use 'find my iphone' because I have 2 kids. I went to check out my icloud on my imac and in the address bar put icloud.com then signed in, double clicked on mail went accounts then clicked on the gear in the right hand corner and there it was. My neighbor had his email in the icloud and there absolutely was no way to delete his info off of my new phone. I guess once the first person enters their info you absolutely cant get rid of it. you can get rid of aliases but just not the original one. WHY!! Is there any brilliant, wonderful,generous person out there that would know how to delete him from my account. The genius bar said that they've never seen this before. If someone can help I'm taking the info to the apple stores that I went to so that I can teach them how to do it. Of course, I will tell them who showed me. I give you my word.

As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you.

Problems deleting a primary key field in a table.

I deleted a primary key field in a custom table by clicking 'delete row' icon and then tried activating it through se14 - database utility. It is throwing an error saying 'Primary key change not permited for the value table zxxxx'. What is the problem???
How can I delete a primary key in a table??

This table is defined as a check table. For reasons of consistency, changes to the primary key of the table are not allowed.
Procedure
If it is essential that you change the primary key, you must delete the relevant foreign keys. Refer to the where-used list to find all tables containing a field that is checked against this table. Delete the foreign keys for these fields.
If necessary, maintain the deleted foreign keys again.

Can't delete any object (usr/compt) in my Open Directory

I'm having some old computers object stuck in my Open Directory server I can't remove. Those are some previously joined computers who aren't existing anymore or have changing their names. When I go in my Workground Manager utility and select the computer object and hit the delete button, I got a error message and bad objet stay there. My OD server is running on a brand new XServe Intel running on Mac OS-X Server 10.5.6 and I've done all updates. My OD is an "OD Master Server" and my clients computers are both joined to an Active Directory Server (Windows 2003) and on the OD server. My OD Server are mainly used to manage system preferences and for files/printers sharing.
*By the way, I can't delete NONE of the objects in my OD. All computers objects and all user objects do the same error message.*

It appears that your browser is also having problems!
When you say you "click stop" do you mean a programmatic stop in a loop or whatever, or do you mean the "stop sign" in the LabVIEW toolbar? If it is the later then you are probably not performing the proper clean up. I don't know how your C# objects are called, but in our project using .NET components I have a call that produces a reference, the reference is used by various calls to the methods, then I have a discrete close that signals the .NET to dispose. If I used the "stop sign" to stop the close would occur and resources would probably be left open.
As another poster says in his signature (I'm paraphrasing) "Using the stop button is like using a tree to stop your car, it works, but isn't recommended" Sorry for the misquote!

Delete/deactivate a Supplier List

Hello,
How can we achieve to delete or deactivate a supplier list. No standard action buttons for this are available, deleting or deactiving all items in a supplier list results in an error/not being able to save the document. How can one delete/deactivate a supplier list or is it there for eternity?

Deleting a primary Apple ID

My primary iCloud email address was hacked. I want to delete the account entirely from my computer and start with a new primary account. This account is also the primary account on my Mac, meaning I have to type in its password whenever I want to make a change to my Mac. I've done some searching online and all I have seen is that you can't delete a primary account. Is this true? Am I just looking in the wrong places?

Both accounts are completely independent from each other. In order to use the space that you have purchased for your secondary account, you must change it to become your primary account. Yes, as you said, services like photo stream only work with the primary account. Unfortunately, there is no comfortable way to just transfer data from one account to another one, but you can do it via a third party application e.g. via Dropbox: e.g. for photos: photos stored with your current primary account > manual transfer to dropbox > after you made your secondary account to the primary account, transfer the photos back to your new primary account etc.

You can't delete the address, but you can set up a Rule to move messages to that address to the Trash or another folder. Go to http://icloud.com and go to the Mail page, click the cogwheel icon at top right and choose 'Rules'.
It's a bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - even though in fact you haven't posted them in full; I've asked the hosts to remove them.

You don't need access to the email address to log in to the Apple ID and you can change the email if required.
Assuming you don't need it for any services, as you can't actually delete an Apple ID, log in here (link) and remove all personal details from the page and then cease using that account.
