If it was stolen, the thief will soon find out it's useless. iOS 7's Activation Lock prevents its use by anyone other than its legitimate owner. If you provided contact information, that's all you can do. Wait until someone honest finds it.

Try deleting the account from the iPod and reentering the settings. It is easy to make an error and notbe able find it.

I have always gotten my AOL email on my IPod but today I couldn't. I get the spinning wheel and it never stops checking for mail. No mail appears. I deleted my AOL account than added back but when I put it back just the inbox shows and it is empty. Message continues to say checking for mail. I added my gmail to see if it was an AOL problem but same thing happened to gmail. I can get the e-mail on laptop and I can also get it if I go to aol.com and sign in. Just doesn't work under mail.
