Can we hyperlink in Charts

Can we create hyperlink in pie chart or bar chart in Webintelligence. If yes tell me the step by step process

no, you can not hyperlink in chart , cause there is nothing on chart makes it reading as HTML and to click it as well.

I've had this one answered with our yes! hours, I'm sure it came up in the training too - I'm assuming you are using advanced reporting?
If your requisition URL is http://servername/RequestCenter/myservices/navigate.do?requisitionId=18954&query=requisition you would need to create a colum in the report with the expression
'http://servername/RequestCenter/myservices/navigate.do?requisitionId=' || cast ([REQUISITIONID],VARCHAR(10)) || '&performerID=&query=requisition'
You would then need to insert a hyperlink type column and make the value of the computed value your hyperlink - I chose to make my ReqID the display name. As you are hardcoding the URL in, you will need to change it as you migrate between environments.
Hope this helps - it is going to make drill downs a lot easier for us now.

Now I want to run this Chart from Form6i on When Button Press trigger.
I have call my report in forms using this command on When Button Press trigger.
Run_Product(reports,'C:\Cheema\Qdir_store\reports\pmms\sec_backlog',asynchronous,runtime,filesystem,TO_CHAR(NULL));
So tell me How can I call my chart in Forms6i?

Just to recall after a long break of couple of years..... Pls check out if not wrong.
First of all you need to embeed the chart object on your layout window and make it visible = FALSE. This is a design time work. In the button press event, show the chart object by setting the visible property = TRUE.
Note, i could not paste u the sample code as i don't have forms installation on my PC. The above states is a logic you can apply.

I have a WEBI report which has a column called Country(Values US, UK). I have some .pdf files in my local machine and BOE server. Could anyone let me know how can I hyperlink the report to the .pdf in my local machine and in the server. There are two cases as below as questions to be answered.
Case 1
When I click on country column, a single .pdf file should open irrespective of the column values in my local machine/server
Case 2
When I click on country column, a .pdf file should open with respect to the column values in my local machine/server
I would be grateful if it is answered asap.

Where I can get hyperlinks in pdf document structure (except "Annots" entry in page dictionary)?

I have two pdf documents (doc1 and doc2) with hyperlinks e.g www.somlink.com, www.somlink2.com.
According to PDF Specification I can get those hyperlinks via Link Annotations -> URI Action. Link Annotations can be found in pdf page's dictionary under "Annots" key.
So the problem is that in one pdf document I get that "Annots" array but in another document there is no such entry in page dictionary. But Adobe Reader recognize those hyperlinks (recognize means you can click on a link and it will be opened in web browser) in both documents. So it seems that there is another place where you can specify hyperlinks, not only in "Annots" array -> URI Action.
Any ideas where it can be?

No, that's where embedded ("real") link objects are.
However, Adobe Acrobat/Reader have an "auto-detect links" feature which will read the text of the page and if it finds text that looks like a URL, make it active to click on.

How can I show the chart in forms?

I want to create a line chart. I use the chart wizard and it is successful to create the chart. But, it can't show the chart when I run the form. How can I show the chart in form6i?
Besides, I see a document that refer to 'OG.pll'.
I can't find the OG.pll in form6i. Do I need 'OG.pll' to show the chart when I run the form? Thank you very much!!

You can try to create a code node for check which signature to print.
In global variable declare a variable ie named g_sign type TDOBNAME.
Then pass this var to name of graphics &g_sign&
please check and reply.

Why can't i find chart wizard in form developer 9i?

I download the lastest version of Oracle9i Developer Suite from otn.it include the forms developer,report developer,designer, and so on.
but when i use the forms developer shiped with this Developer Suite, I can't find the chart wizard in the "tools" menu and anywhere otherwise.I also can't find graphics designer also.
But i need use them in my forms. Who can tell me how i can get them ? Thanks!

How can I make a chart ignore cells until their value is changed from 0?

In the corresponding table, I used conditional formatting to hide zeros in the highlighted row by conditionally changing the text color to that of the table background. However, the zero value's are still represented in the corresponding chart as you can see in the attached photo . How can I make the chart ignore certain cells only until their values are changed from zero? Thanks in advance!

Hi Ryan,
Leave the cells empty until they're needed, or, if the cells' contents are determined by a formula, revise the formula to insert a null string if the value is zero.
=IF(your formula = 0, "", your formula)

Can't browse top charts, etc. in Apple Store

Hi! Does anyone encountered the same problem I experienced with my Ipad2 recently? I can't browse top charts, etc in my Ipad2, but it checks for updates & I can still search for a specific application, Same goes with my ITunes & IBooks. For ITunes it doesn't display the movies, music, tv shoes, etc. when I clicked on it but if I typed in the search box it searches & shows result.
I've tried turning off then on again my unit but still the same. Hope someone can help me. Thanks!

Have you tried closing the iTunes app completely and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with iTunes 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iTunes app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Another option is to try logging out of your account by tapping on it Settings > Store and then logging back in.

How can I link two charts on different pages in one document?

I have a chart on the first page How cn aI link two charts on differnetof my document. The last line is a intermediate total (formula). How can I link the chart on the next page to this total, so I can go on with the calculation without having to copy and paste the result of the first chart?

I'm sure that you could figure out how to get along with Pages, or Numbers. Each has it's own advantages and disadvantages.
If you put all your text that doesn't need to be in the table into text boxes, you can place the text boxes over the table in any arrangement you like. Be sure to turn off Object Causes Wrap in the Wrap Inspector.
Here is an example of a single table across two pages with other text on the page:
The formula in the cell displaying 500 is =B1 * 100
On the other hand, I agree that the feature of linking to sister tables would be a nice enhancement and I encourage you to submit the idea vie Pages > Feedback > Enhancement Request.

I've been told I can not hyperlink in iBook to a movie on a different server if I publish my iBook in iTunes. Is this correct, please?

I was all set to celebrate as it seemed like this worked
perfectly, but I got actionscript errors like crazy in the new

These errors don't happen in my original file.

Hyperlink on charts

In WEBI 4.1, we have new feature called "Add Element link" where we can link two blocks in report . this means when we click on the chart it will show you corresponding data in Vertical table.For example , we can link chart and vertical table and click Year = 2014 in the Chart , all the related information of year 2014 will be shown in the Vertical table. Linking can be done only on the blocks which in that report tab.
My business requirement is , when user clicks on chart, instead of showing the data in the same report tab, can we load another report through using OPENDOC and show the related information in it. This means REPORT- A contains all graphical information and when user clicks on the bar chart , all the related data should be shown in REPORT-B , using OPENDOC. Is it possible in 4.1 WEBI ?

It is still not working.
Below are the steps which I am following,
1) Take vertical table , Add Year and Sales revenue from Efashion universe
2) Right click on Year, Choose Linking -> Add Hyperlink
3) after we define all the details of linking document, formula looks like below

4) Also choose the option "Read content as Hyperlink"
5) Now when we click on the year it will automatically load another report and show the details
Now the problem is when we click on the vertical table and use the option "Turn To" to bar chart. Chart will be displayed but hyperlink is lost. My business criteria is when the end user clicks on the chart For example on Year = "2005", it should load relevant data in another report. Is this possible ?
