Can we make service entry sheet against contract without releasing service order.

As of my knowledge service entry sheet is possible for contract release order. Not possible for contracts.

    No you can not create Service entry sheet against service PR. The purpose of creating pr is just requestion for  purchase of services or material. This is required for internal purpose even in pr ur not maintaining Vendor details, conditions. If you see standard business process with ref. to pr we creating po than service entry sheet. So in standard business process every documents have own purpose / value.

    Hello MM Gurus,
    Please help me for the following
    I create a service PO with say 10 line items. Then while doing the service entry sheet the system automatically picks the line item 10 by default. When I try to enter the other items it throws an error" unplanned services cannot be entered"
    So how to make a service entry sheet which shall include all the line items of the service PO at the same time.
    So if I have 100 items in the PO do we make the service entry sheet 100 times against each item? Is there any seeting/solution on this?

    I have two solution for u.
    1) Create different service entry sheet -ML81N for each line item and create single invoice verification for all service entry sheet - MIRO
    2) Create service purchase order - ME21N for only one line item.
    And include all services in service tab available at item detail level of service purchase order. Enter it's quantity and rate.
    Than create one service entry sheet for purchase order.
    So you can create one service entry sheet for all line item of services.
    Note: - Use option 2 for easy process.

    I think maintaining suitable Data Entry Profile will solve your problem. Take help from HR consultant.
    SPRO->Cross Application Component->Timesheet->Specific Settings for CATS Classic->Setup Data Entry Profiles.

  • Can not delete service entry sheet having Items with zero quantity

    Dear Experts ,
    I am having one service entry sheet with many line items out of which some line items are having quantity zero. Now when trying to delete the service entry sheet , system is asking to fill the quantity . since there are already some other service entry sheets through which full quantity equal to Purchase order quantity for that service line item has been already entered , the system is giving message "quantity exceeds"  if even quantity 0.01 is entered for namesake to allow delete of entire SES.
    The user had saved this service entry sheet & left it as it without acceptance for long time , it is required to be deleted as whole.
    Please advise how it can be deleted as system is not allowing it to delete & asks quantity to be filled NOW where  quantity had been entered zero while previously saving .

    Hi ,
    The SES has all line items with WBS elements , the idea to delete the SES is to free-up the budget which is commited due to creation of this SES.
    I have tried deleting individual line items in SES ,but system gives error "enter quantity" where line item quantity is zero. there are few such line items with quantity zero out of total 26 line items in the SES.
    I want to know whether Blocking of SES at header level will free-up the budget as it is the basis purpose for deleting SES , which i think may not serve the purpose.

  • Service entry sheet pick price from Scales based contract

    Dear SAP Team,
    We are doing the service entry sheet using Transaction Ml81N & facing the pricing issue.
    Before doing the service entry sheet a SAP contact which has prices based on the scales as distance is created .We pay the vendor based on the depth where the drilling operation are performed.
    Purchase order is created using as limit order as at the time of PO the exact depth & time consumed for the service is not clear.
    While creating a Service entry sheet against the PO, when I click on the pushbutton u2018Service selectionu2019 the system prompts me to choose the Service from different sources.
    I select the option of service to be selected from the purchasing document (which is my contract number with scale pricing).
    After this step, I could see my contract service as below but I do not have the option to select the scale prices based on the depth where the services are performed.
    I do not know when SAP has provided the scale pricing in contract & it allows you to select the contract during the service entry sheet then but it does not allow you to select the prices maintained in the contract for the scales. I would highly appreciate any solution provided on it or any other alternative possible.

    You have two options, just check for to carry out....
    OPTION--1:
    You can create three service master/activity number namely Pumping depth 0-500 M , Pumping depth 501 -1000 M & Pumping depth 1001-Above and keep  base unit of measure for service master/activity number  is Hour.
    Now create value or quantity contract as per your requirement with  three service master/activity number  & you can maintain
    the cost per unit as Pumping depth 0-500 M is 400$/ Hr , Pumping depth 501 -1000 M is 500$/ Hr, Pumping depth 1001-Above is 600$/ Hr
    Then you can create Release Order/Purchase Order WRT contract.
    Now during SES creation in ML81N, you can select which activity number performed and accordingly the cost and service number copied to SES & you can save SES and release SES.
    OPTION--2:
    You can have source list(ME01) & Info record (ME11). In the info record , you can maintain all scales as your requirement
    and then create contract & then release order and finally SES.

    we are creating a unplanned service po and creating the service entry sheet against it .We have a requirement  that after the creation of service entry sheet with the service line items with description alone ,can we able to chnage the service entry sheet to  the service no in these same line items before the approval process. We are not able to incorporate these changes in the same service line item.
    we were able to add it in the different service line item.

    Service entry sheet number we cannot able to change because using T-code ML81N and give PO no and doing service process, first the service entry sheet number generated and then we have given actual service qty.
    So, we are not able to change service entry sheet no.
    Better, deleted service entry sheet and make new service entry sheet for the particular PO.

  • How to find Goods Receipt Number particular to Service Entry Sheet Number.

    Hi Experts,
      In one of my reports  i need to bring purchase order ,service entry sheet, goods receipt number .
    In ekbe i am getting the purchase order and its service entry sheet while keeping BEWTP = 'D'.
    so i am getting purchase orders and their service entry sheet numbers in belnr.
    Now i want to get the corresponding goods receipt number .
    But i am getting goods receipt number against the purchase order but not against service entry sheet , in same EKBE 
    while keeping BEWTP = 'E' movement type = '101'.
    My doubt here is how to get the corresponding goods reciept number for a service entry sheet.
    if i have three service entry sheet numbers for a purchse order i have three goods receipt numbers
    but how to get the relation between them  which GRN to which service entry sheet
    . is there any table which stores the service entry and its grn.
    If i am any thing functionally wrong  which i wrote above please correct me and give ur inputs.

    Hi Sarath,
         If the Purchase order Item category is 'D' then it is a service order then it can have N service entry sheet numbers and once each service entry sheet is accepted it will be available for Goods reciept .. so that information will be avaiable..
    U can obtain the GRN against the Service entry sheet in EKBE itself.
    BELNR refers to GRN
    LFBNR refers to Service entry sheet number.
    And hence i am closing the thread.

    When entering invoices for services (SES) on MIRO, we have the ability to select a layout for Services. This shows a column called Del Note / Sheet No. I have been trying to find a way to get the Del Note / Sheet No populated with the service entry sheet no.
    Is this what the del Note / Sheet No column is for?

    HI,
    Yes, Del.Note means if material supply purchase ordered to vendor and then vendor sent material along with delivery note (DC) & invoice to customer. After received material as per our quality norms and then we make Goods Receipt Note (GRN)  using T-code MIGO to stock account. During MIGO time input data given in vendor Delivery Note number and then SAVE GRN. generated unique number as GRN number.
    The GRN number noted on the vendor invoice and given to accounts department. Accounts department booking the invoice using T-code MIRO  input shown as 'Delivery Note'  means vendor DC number to be given and enter it shown vendor GRN value verified & booked vendor invoice.
    Yes, the above steps are applicable to service order (Work Order). Project side services (Work) finished vendor given invoice and then we make service entry sheet  using T-code ML81N against work order.

    I created a PO for Services(not service based IV, only GR based IV only checked) , entered SES & at the time of Accepting the SES showing error is  Purchasing Document Ordered quantity exceeded by 1 Activity Unit (Message no. M7022), but actually not exceeded & what is the difference between  service based IV & PO based IV ?

    In GR based IV, system allows to post invoice against material receipt against a PO. While for service based IV, system creates GR document based on accepted service entry sheet. Hence, for service PO, this tick (service based IV must be there).
    You may delete the service entry sheet which you have created. The mark the tick at Service based IV & the again make service entry sheet. System should not give any error.

  • Service entry sheet Number shown in PO history but does not exist

    Dear Experts,
    we use ZML81N : for creation of SES
    &  use ML81N  : For Acceptance ( Release ) of SES
    while creating PO , under services tab for a line item , the service has been entered for total Quantity 12 & units as "months"
    User tried to create one service entry sheet against the line item with Quantity = 1 & unit = month , but it seems this SES got saved somehow without any line items inside it .
    if we we try to open this SES with number shown in PO history , system says SES "Does not Exist"
    In the PO history against the PO item in Item Details-PO history tab , one Service entry sheet is showing with "SEnt" in the
    short text , but there is no row in PO history for the above with short text as "GRSR" , which also should have been created
    automatically by the system . In the column "Amount in LC" , amount for the service is showing .
    When a new SES for the same line item is attempted to be created , the system is showing available balance Quantity as "11" ,
    that means system is considering the "1" quantity entered in the first SES as consumed .
    Please advise how we can delete the first SES which we are not able to see , free-up the budget consumed by this SES &
    restore the Balance Quantity shown in the new SES as again "12" as if no SES has been done against the PO line item.
    I have tried to search the forum , but could not find solution.

    After checking it is found that  there is no data in the tables ESLL, ESLH, etc. stored for the mentioned entry sheet, so SAP can not try to reconstruct the entry sheet based on that data.
    Can you please tell from which tables the wrong FI and CO postings (e.g., the referring accounts) must be cleared manually in order to solve the problem ? as we could not find the value  of  "LC amount mentioned against the Service entry sheet in PO history"  in both the tables ESLL & ESLH.

    one of my client asking to restrict the TECO function if there is no cost in order either by external service cost or internal service cost? If user raise an order for one external activity , he not created the service entry sheet against PO and he did TECO of the order, when FI people settles the cost system showing either order is already settled or there is nothing to settle. Please guide me how to restrict the user to do the teco function in order. Its very crucial and urgent for me. if any one have solution please update it immediately.

    Use the above user exit to check the cost for the order. If there is no cost, then give error message.
    You can check tables PMCO and AUFK.
    Also you can use function module PM_WORKORDER_COSTS_LIST to retrieve the actual cost values.

  • Service entry sheet creation thru bapi for multiple line items

    HI All,
    WE are using BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE bapi for the creation of service entry sheet against service PO.
    We are able to create the service entry sheet successfully with single sevice line item using this bapi,but when we are going for multiple service line items in item services tab in aPO, we are able to create the service entry sheet with only one service line item although there are 4 service line items in the item service tab in the po.
    We know that this bapi cannot support more than one po line item as it has provision for only one line item at the header leavel in the bapi
    will be rewarded for the best solution.

  • Issue with Service Entry Sheet

    Hi All,
    I have one issue like User has created a Service entry sheet against purchase order and he has accepted the SES and at that time GR has been created for this SES and after that he has deleted the SES with out revoking the SES ( I could not understand how he has deleted) and Now GR is hanging in the system.
    Is there any way to delete(Cancel) this GR?

    HI,
    IF SES cancelled. Now clear the accounting document manually  in F.13.
    Note-1:The revoke & Delection of SES is done in T.code:ML81N, Click on other purchase order. Enter the Entry sheet/Purchase order number you want to cancel. Then the details will be copied, then click on change and then click on revoke acceptance icon.Now if u want to delete the SES, after revoking SES click on Delete icon, So that the SES will get deleted.
    Note: Close all the threads posted by you, if answered.
