Can we please work on developing a tool to purge the "other" memory taking up 8 gigs on my 13.4 gig iphone. I am passed tired of restoring and redoing my iphone. Isn't there any interest? From support forums, I see a need. Seriously, I'd pay $50 for an app. I love this phone, and wouldn't think of switching, but this makes me weary.
Any other ideas out there besides restoring my phone (again)?

First you need to set the VI to Run When Opened (VI Properties>Execution). Then you create a front panel Boolean. On the diagram what you need to do is have some sort of idle state where nothing is done until the Boolean is pressed. It could be a separate while loop that doesn't exit until the Boolean is pressed, an Event Structure, or as part of a state machine. Look at the shippings examples Queued Message Handler, New Event Handler, Using Buttons for Options to name just a few.

Can I use a submit button that will automatically flatten and open up the save as screen?

I'm working with forms in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and I want the submit button to flatten the document then open the save as screen. I know I can print to pdf and this automatically will open that screen, but these forms are going to be used with tablets that may or may not have the "print to adobe" as an option. Is there another way to flatten? I know the PDF Optimizer will do that too, but it isn't an executable option in the button properties. Magic anyone? Thanks.

It depends very much on the platform and the applications used by the users of this form. If they are using non-Adobe software, all bets are off.
Also, some tablets (iPad) don't support JS, so even if they do use Adobe's Reader for the iOS, there's not much that can be done in the way of scripting.
Generally speaking: In Acrobat you can flatten the form, but in Reader that's not possible. What you can do, though, is create a function that makes the form fields read-only, thus preventing the user from editing them after having submitted the file.

How can I add a menu button that will replay the autoplay startup movie

I want to link from the menu to the autoplay startup movie on the DVD, but I want to do this without having to put the movie on the dvd twice. Can It be done?

Click on the item in the autoplay box and select "Loop slideshow" from the Advanced menu. That will continuously play the slideshow till your manually stop it.

Apple please develop an app that will play the iTunes Extras.

I have accumulated several movies from iTunes that have 'iTune Extras' which can only be accessed on my computer. I only use my iPad and Apple TV to watch my digital media because my computer is desk top. I am surprised that there is not a way to access these extra on my iPad. Any ideas?

Currently iTunes Extras and iTunes LPs can only be played on a computer's iTunes, they can't be played on an iOS device - until if/when Apple develop a way of allowing you to play them on an iPad then you will need to use your computer (or first gen Apple TV).

You have to execute that script using an event, in this case you'll use the Success event of the button that you created to 'jump'. And it will probably be an advanced action, unless you execute the JS with the On Enter event of the slide. You have two commands: first to execute the script, second to jump to that slide, for which you'll have to use a system variable cpCmndGotoSlide and the value of the variable returned by the JS. Slide numbering starts with index 0.

Is there a way I can create a button that will copy my view from so I can paste it MS Word?
I know I can select the entire form and copy and paste it, but is there a way to do it via a button similar to my "Print Form" button?

instead of highlighting the data I want to easily copy it so I can paste it on a word document
I came up with a script that when a item is highlighted I click the copy to clipboard and it copies the item.

Can I add a button next to the location bar (just like the Home-button) that will open a new tab?

In Firefox 3 there was a button that would open a new tab. This button was next to my location bar (next to the home, refresh, etc buttons), and also usable when I didn't have any tabs open (unlike the + on the tabbar, which is only there when I turn on my tabbar).
Although there is a button I can add that will open a new window, I would like to know if it is possible to have similar button that will open a new tab.

There's a New Tab button in the Customize Palette, just move it to where you want it.

I used to have an iPad 2 and i used a Griffin stylus with it and it worked fine on it, i used it to take notes on the iPad. But now i have an iPad mini and the stylus doesnot respond well on it , i have to really press hard to get it to work. Please,can anyone suggest me a stylus that will work well on iPad mini without having to press so hard and will respond smoothly.

Create a clear button that will clear a jpanel

so i have two classes. One being a frame, and the other being a panel.
On the panel, i can draw various shapes with various colours etc. The frame contains the panel, and also a north panel containing various buttons to achieve this.
What i would i need to do is create a clear button that will clear the panel.
I know i can go and set it so it's draws a rectangle the same colour as the background but that would be cheating.
I will post a section of the paint just so you get an idea.

The FDF and XML data files are easily imported into the original form so that you see what the client sees. With those aspects in mind, just go ahead and try one. Be aware that you can add form fields using the form tools in the Advanced Editing tools, OR use the forms menu that will take you to Designer. You might want to try both to see the pros and cons. Be sure to keep such a test simple so you are not wasting time on your final form just for testing. I typically create a 1 page form that has all of the possible fields for such a test.
