Can we print handling unit label before assigning to delivery

I created handling unit and assigned the output type in the handling unit, I tried to create label through VL74 but not succeded. Kindly let us know whether we can print the label without assigning to delivery document.Kindly let me know if any other options are there.

Thanks for your reply. I am bit confused with your statement. I create handling unit number and assigned output type in HU02, now i am trying to print labels from VL74 tcode, but failed. No results in VL74 output.
It seems VL74 can be used for HU prints only after assigning to Delivery number.

Are you using WM+HUM or only IM+HUM?
In OMJ3 you can define printer by Storage Location,
in OMLV you can defin printer by WM organizational levels (storage types), movement type etc.
You can use NACE t-code to set the output type you want in addition to MDoc printout.
Can you explain your config, when are you printing your HUs at the moment?

I checked the Address Book Print Dialog and I did not see the option to duplicate a single label.
The only thing you could try is to select the name in your list. Then do Command-P to print which should get you to this dialog box:
Try changing the # of copies and see if that does what you want. Otherwise I'm not sure and your answer may best be found in the Address Book forum on here.
You may not want to incue the expense but Microsoft Word will do what you want.

Handling Unit not being assigned to TO for an outbound delivery

Hi All
When I create a TO for an outbound delivery then a handling unit is not being assigned to the TO.
I cannot confirm the TO as it complains about the non assignment of HU.
I have done the following so far:
1. Set up a default packing material w.r.t WhNo and movement type.
2. Defined a packing group and then assigned the packing group to the packing material.
3. Set 1 to the indicator for automatic HU creaion in customizations for automatic HU creation.
Is there something I am missing in the configuration?
Any suggestions would help.

Hello,
HU never get assign at the time of creation of TO. You can assign pick HU at the time of confirmation of TO. There are two ways
Use transaction code LH01 and assign pick HU
OR
(ii)Or at the time of confirmation of TO click on pack tab and complete the packing

Can I print avery address labels from a word template on my MX922 and if so where do I load them?

Just bought a Pixma MX922 and was surprised that I can't find any instructions for printing avery mailing labels from my Christmas list word template. I was able to do this on my MP560 which just died, but it had a separate place to feed avery labels into the printer. This is a Canon question and not an Avery question.

Hello. If your current sheets were able to be used with the MP560, you should be able to use them with the MX922. Please load the sheets in the lower cassette tray. Printing handling unit number

Hi All SD Guru,
While working in the packaging process, I am unable to find out the way to print the handling unit number that is generated automatically after packing the articles. For the same task, I have assigned access sequence (0001) to out put type (0001) and assign it to output procedure. Finally I have assigned output procedure to package material type but not able to find out the solution. Is there any other configuration required for the same? which t-code is used to print the handling unit number? Please tell me the procedure step by step.

GR can not printed for PO-Multiple account assignment on single line item ,

I made a pr with single line item with 3 account assignment on percentage basis.I created a PO against .GR non valuated was automatically ticked so no account assignment was created at the time of GR posting.
Can I make a valuted GR against PO line item with multiple account assignment.
I faced another problem .I displayed the GR and after ticking out put check box in the general data page of the GR doc. the output is being saved but the update is terminated immediately.and no output page is generated in this item level.This output problem is not there at the time of single account assignment at PO line item.
Can you please let me have the solution ?

When you are having the multiple account assignment, then the system will force you to have GR-non valuated indicator being flagged which results in the fact there is not any FI document at GR posting stage and this is the standard feature of SAP.

No, not at all. The disability of GR indicator can be set in OME9 with account assignment category

In fact, it is possible to maintain multiple account assignment for each and every PO line item by selecting the 'Multiple Account Assignment' button in the 'Account Assignment' View of the Item Detail of PO. However, for such multiple account assignment selection, no accounting document will be generated upon GR maintenance. This can only be done during IR via LIV process.

Handling unit preventing deletion of inbound delivery

Hello,
Our Decentralized WMS had a glitch in the system that left several
idocs queued to create inbound deliveries. These deliveries have
associated handling units which were placed from the outbound delivery
to the inbound. Before the inbound deliveries could be created via XI,
users created manual inbound deliveries against the POs and PGRed.
When the Decent WMS glitch was addressed, the IDOCs submitted were
processed, creating inbounds with handling units that were completely
packed.
So our system contains 2 inbounds for a po. We would like to delete the one with with the handling unit, but it's not that simple.
To address this issue, it is necessary to remove the handling units,
but this isn't possible. We receive an error message, unable to change.
I've attempted to PGR the delivery but this isn't possble either.
the following error message is received.
MSSA-SATRA exceeded by 2 EA : 10004063 AA26 0001 E
How can these Handling units be deleted to allow the associated inbound
deliveries to be deleted as well?
Is there a program to modify the status of the handling unit? I do not
want to perform any table editing or goods movements unless there are
no other alternatives

Handling Unit: unable to pack the delivery

Dear Experts,
In a HU managed storage location, there is sales order stock for material A.
I want to post the sales order stock from sales order 1 item 10 to sales order 2 item 10, using movement type 413 E.
Then I got an outbound delivery (delivery type HTP, item category HSTP). I think I am supposed to pack this material before I could PGI.
But in the delivery (edit->pack) packing screen, I found I could NOT select/highlight the material A under field 'Material to be pack' at 'Pack material' tab. So I could not pack this material into the handling unit to finish to packing step.

Please try using LQ02 for your posting, if its not posting directly then you can opt to move from Sales order stock to normal stock and then again moving it to the other sales order stock. I know for sure that using LQ02 you can post from sales order to normal stock but since I don't have my current system setup to test this so I cant confirm if It can be used to do transfer directly as well.

Weight from Handling Unit not copied into outbound delivery weight field.

We create handling units with hupast and with a weight interface. If we select the HU in the outbound delivery, we need the total weight of all HU displayed in the outbound delivery. This is not happening. The total weight which is shown is the weight of the material master.
How can we put HU weight in the outbound delivery?

you habe to do this with a user exit.
In the deliveries, there is only one good userexit at the time save dcoument prepare. -- there is a oss - note for it.
I copy at every save the sum of the HU-weights in the fields of likp.
Additionally at time of goods out - boocking, i collect the LIKP-weight upon all positions of the lips, so that the sum of lips-weights will give the likp-weight.
You need to do this, because in invoice, the weight is taken as sum of the positions and the following processes of export will also take the weight of the invoice-position.
