Can we set no range as mm/dd/yyyy format?

Is it possible to configure purchasing document number in such a fashion that
system should start fresh numbering for each financial year. E.g for year 2008-
2009 PO number should start with 0809/000001 and so on and for year 2009-
2010 numbering should start with 0910/00001.

You can have the ranges you wish but the date format separating the digits is not possible. You can not use -, /, . spl characteristics inbetween numerals. Other numerals representing datemonth and year can be used provided your range is not over laping with subsequent one.

Can't set up Range Extender AC1200

And the reason is so stupid I'd like to kick the guy who created the set up process in the groin!! The software walks you through the steps but it doesn't have and option to skip the 5Ghz set up. I have the 5G disable on my router, I have no items that use 5G so I don't need it but the AC1200 expander doesn't allow you to skip this process it just keeps looping asking for the password to the 5G so I never finished setting it up to see if this product was any good!!
I also have the AC connection on my router disable because I have no AC equipment as well, it makes me wonder if I as able to get that far if it would have run me in circles again!
Easy set up my **bleep**, none of your info covers a disable section of a persons router nor does it tell you how to use and iPad to connect. For those who wonder simply go to your wifi selection under settings and switch it to Linksys Extender Setup, it will be there as if it's a network.
So screw you linksys, I will not waste my time resetting my router just so I can deal with your software. If your so blind as to not allow a person to skip and unnessacary step which ends up requiring them to reset the extender just to access the same mess again and again then your products are not for me!! FYI - I will be exchanging your product for one that you simply press the WPS button on the router and the WPS button on the extender and your up and running.

I wouldn't let me do this, it would just keep going back to where I was on the 5Ghz setup and looping even after unplugging and using the reset button on the extender. If it would have I doubt I would have been so PO'ed.
I think the only option would have been to go into my router and turn everything back on, 5Ghz, AC but I wasn't going to go to that much trouble just to set up the extender and then have to go back and change everything back to my liking. Once I entered my Router information in the extender set up everything should have been good to go, but it wasn't, so much for easy set-up.

You can't set a start and end date for the date/time field, the best you can do is validate the range after the user has selected it.

You can do the same by creating SETS. You can create the same from header menu at the time of entering receivers during creation of assessment cycles.

The NI 6014 only has bipolar (10V to -10V) mode available, not unipolar (10V to 0V). Look into our E Series boards for both unipolar and bipolar operation.

Hi Fred,
The answer to both questions is yes. In MAX, in the Channel Configuration Tab of your cFP-AI-100, you can specify your range to be one of a number of settings for current or voltage. To configure separate channels, simply select the channel and then select the range. See the attached screenshot for more details.

One of my scenrio, i read the range size of Iterator and i performed the business logic validation. But in my case, range size is changed as per business requriement for a paricular Iterator.
Is it possible to set the Range size property dynamically in an Iterator of pageDef File.
I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0

It works very well. I have been struggling for a couple of hours trying to figure out how to calculate the page number I wanted to link to from a report column defined as a linked item. I ended up modifying my VIEW to include the page number for that particular type of data and use this technique to jump to the correct page.

Setting dynamic range?

ok i'm a video editor. how the heck can i set the dynamic range? its a project starting/ending in FCP, i want it to be broadcast safe, ostensibly want to limit the dynamic range to 7db (-12 to -6 or so) i theoretically understand the compressor/limiter can limit the peak here (altho i haven't really made that work) but is there an effect to bring up the bottom too? or another effect where i can do both? i'm stumped. & in dire need... thanks!

Usually that's not a good idea. How would your video look
if you brought up all the blacks to 50%. Yuck.
The idea is to increase your audio "gamma".
There are 3 types of processing for audio:
"Crushing the blacks" In audio terms that would be expanding
or gating out background noise. Room tone is great,
but if it's distracting, an expander with a low threshold (say, -40dB),
will make things sound a little cleaner.
"Boosting gamma" In audio terms that would be a light overall compression.
Set the threshold for, say, -20, and the ratio to about 4, to bring those
details up. Note that this will affect the overall perceived loudness of the track,
so typically TV commercials crank this up to get it "louder" than the show.
"Making luma broadcast safe" In audio terms, this would be limiting your
audio to never go above 0dB. For this you need a limiter, with a high
threshold, e.g. -3dB, a large compression ratio, e.g. 8, and set very fast.
Like the video broadcast safe filter, it shouldn't affect the perceived
loudess (luma) too much. You should already be in the ballpark
before you apply this safety net.
There are plug-ins which will do all three, but you can also just
combine single filters to get the same result.
Keep in mind that an audio level meter is sampling a moving target,
so that you won't see all the peaks. For that reason, it is considered
good practice to set your levels so that speech peaks around -12
(or -6 for commercial rants).
Another thing to remember is your intended audience. Are you
selling cars or telling a sensitive story?
Bottom line: get digital examples of other videos in the same genre.
Take a look at their levels. What sounds good? What fits with the genre?

Where do I set UIX Range?

I have created a uix page in which I have dropped in a read-only table from the data control palette. Everything is working fine, however I would like to display more than the default 10 records per page. However, I can't seem to find anywhere to set the range to accomplish this. Thanks in advance for any help!

I figured this one out:
Under the view controller>application sources>view section in the navigator, click on the appropriate xml file relating to the view you want to change the iterator range for.
In the structure window, you will see the iterator object for that view. Click on that, then in the property inspector change the range value to whatever you want to display per page. Or just edit the xml file directly, which it doesn't seem that you can do from within jdeveloper, but you can within notepad, etc.

You will need to set the gain of each channel using the AI_Read function. The input range parameter of AI-Configure is acutually ignored for E Series devices. The polarity parameter will allow you to set the range to unipolar (0 to 10 V) or bipolar (-5 to +5).
You use the gain parameter of the AI_Read to futher specify the input range. The valid gain settings for the 16E-4 can be found on page A-2 of the appendix in the user manual linked below. For a +/- 100 mV range you would set the polarity of AI_Configure to bipolar and the gain parameter to 50 of the AI_Read. I hope this helps.

TS1398 I can't set up wifi on my new ipad.

I can't set up wifi on my new ipad. It won't connect to the network. Wifi is working on other devices in the house.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Can i set up airport to be dhcp on a static network?

I have a static network at work and would like to open my internet up to our customers. MY question is how can I set up a apple airport ( or multiple we have a large area) to assign DHCP addresses to customers via WYFY
I was thinking something like this:
Modem -> Router -> Airport -> Wireless DHCP

It would be a requirement that the wireless connections were on a seperate network that could not see any of the work PC's

Everything depends on the router ..
If the router offers vlan.. then you can set the airport to a different vlan than the Work computers and it will work fine.. But your setup currently is such that wireless clients behind the airport even if they get a different IP address range would still be able to access the work PC's.
Another possible method is to use secondary IP address in the router.. this is same idea as vlan really but some routers offer IP alias.. or secondary IP.. it has a number of names.. This would not fully protect the computers on the main IP address range but via firewall in the computers will effectively do so. It would be important to make sure the local firewall is setup and running.
