Can we set User roles/permissions for a content that is stored in Contentspace at the end of Process
Friends,
I have a requirment where a set of approvers approve a form and at the end of the process i store the form as a pdf in the contentspace.
My requirment is that, can we set roles/permission for the file that i store in the contentspace and allow only the people who have approved the form to view/edit the content the the contentspace.
If possible what is the workbench activity should i use and how should i use it in the process?

There is a read/write permissions service in the Content Services category in workbench that will allow you to control the access to the space or th efile that you write intp CS.

Users and permissions for a small home server
Hello community,
I have been using Linux on the desktop for many years now, but unfortunately my knowledge about servers is very limited, almost non-existent. Therefore my question is most probably equally well fitting here and into the newbie corner.
I'm trying to set up a little home server which should be in charge of following tasks:
- CUPS print server in the local network
- access to shared files through NFS in the local network
- backup (again over NFS)
- an Owncloud server
- maybe a mail server in the long run (NSA, paranoia, etc. )
For now I have set up the print server, the NFS server and was working on the Owncloud installation, when Owncloud gave me some errors with users and permissions. So I was led to the idea of rethinking the users and permissions on server. So far there is only the root user who may do everything. This seems like a quite unsafe configuration. I'd like to make it safer. First, the printer, the backup and the locally shared files should be accessible from the local network only. SSH access should also be accessible locally only. The Owncloud file folder should be accessible from the internet, but of course only for the Owncloud users registered to the Owncloud server.
What is the best way to set up users and permissions for such a set up?

PhotonXHi, i think it depends who are you serving for, if you are just serving for a small office or home server or a big organization. The following quick thinking just came to me:
I think cups set automatically a system user of its own, and runs as it, so no trouble there. Cups also has the option to set users and it uses the system users as default, i think it depends in in how many printers/users your have in your server.Users that can manage cups are in the lp group.
For nfs every user should have their home, samba is also a good option if you have windows computer in your network and it integrates better with graphical file managers like nautilus in the clients side, but it is a hassle to configure.
You should run the web server (owncloud ) as it own user, maybe you can manage to set something up for owncloud in the filesystem, but owncloud uses a database, and the users for owncloud are stored in there, and they are not system users.
You can configure ssh for local use only enabling the corresponding subnets in your /etc/sshd.conf and optionally but recommended you can set a firewall and permissions. You can use iptables but i prefer ufw for simple setup.

Also as an advice i know that arch linux is a great distribution, but you have to do more work to mantain a stable server. I would recommend debian or another more conservative distro, but of course it is your choice.

i've created a new status profile and it seems SAP automaticaly generate all of status in my status profile to table tj30.
but the data in column estat of table tj30 that created is started from E0001.
can we set the data start from certain number ( for example : from E0060 ) not from E0001 ?
or can we update it from E0001 to E-something ( for example : to E0056 ) ?
please advice or breif me.

2. Select the action profile (if you are using the standard action profile)

2. Select the action

2. Go to the change mode using the 'Display/change' button
3. Press the "Change" button in the screen area "Method call settings" in the line "Define processing parameters".
4. Click the 'Create' pushbutton in the dialog box that is then displayed.
5. Enter the following data:
a) Element: USER_STATUS
b) Name: USER_STATUS
c) Short description: USER_STATUS
d) Data type tab, ABAP dictionary reference
Structure TJ30
Field ESTAT
e) "Initial value" tab page, entry "E0060" in the field USER_STATUS (or another allowed user status from the status profile used if desired).
f) Copy the entries.

It sounds like you want to have the Mail app automatically reply to emails that come in. You can do this in the app itself, but in order for the function to work, Mail needs to be open. Take a look at this info from the following article:
Mail (Yosemite): Reply to, forward, or redirect messages
Automatically reply to or forward messages
Mail must be open before it can automatically forward or reply to messages. If you want to send automatic replies when Mail isn’t open—like when you’re on vacation—check with the provider of your email account.
Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Rules.
Click Add Rule, then type a name for the rule.
Indicate whether any or all of the conditions must be true for the rule to be applied.
Set the conditions that determine which messages to automatically reply to or forward.
Choose options from the “Perform the following actions” pop-up menu.
Forward messages: Choose Forward Message from the first pop-up menu, then enter the email addresses where you want to receive the forwarded messages. Click Message, then enter any text you want to include with the forwarded message. For example, you could explain that you’re automatically forwarding messages.
Reply to messages: Choose “Reply to Message” from the first pop-up menu, click “Reply message text,” then enter your reply. Mail includes the full text of the original message in your reply.
Click OK.

Thanks On my phone, these are the options under Menu>Settings & Tools>Sound Settings>Alert Sounds: 1. TXT Message 2. Multimedia Message 3. Voicemail 4. Emergency Tone 5. Missed Call . And under Service Alerts: 1. ERI 2. Minute Beep 3. Call Connect 4. Charge Complete 5. Software Update. So nothing there for the calendar. And options from the calendar that I can see are Add (here you can change the tone for one event or recurring event, but not set a default tone for the event alarm), View (gives you the options of viewing an existing event in more detail, adding a new one, and the same choices from the Options list on the first screen where you are viewing the entire month), and Options (1. lets you view weekly/monthly, 2. Go To Today 3. Go To Date 4. Search 5. Erase All 6. Erase All Old 7. Send. So as far as I can see, there's no way to do it. I have been through all the Settings and Tools menus... and the Events menu. But...I have just discovered that if I delete ALL my alarms and change the Ringtone for the first alarm I set, that ringtone becomes the default ringtone. Can I set a default transition for Final Cut Pro X? I'm doing a multicamera edit and would like all edit points to have a cross dissolve transisiton. Can I make this happen by default?

I can not set up a firewall for my computer. I can get to the place I'm supposed to get to but am unable to click start.
If the Start Firewall button is grey (inactive) check to see if the pad lock is "locked" in the lower left corner of the screen. If so, click it and enter the Administrator password to unlock it. Then you can start the firewall.

I set up a new user on my network today and am now in a location without access to that network. I just set her up as a user on her macbook but I can't log in with her credentials. Is that because I am not on the network and it is the initial setup?
You need to set the option to create a mobile account using the Directory Utility app.

I created a adhoc role and tried assigning the users to the role but I am getting this error. I am on R12.1.3

THanks for your reply. user_name in fnd_user, the role in wf_local_rules are same.
ex. KSURNAJ in wf_local_roles is same as in KSURNAJ fnd_user
