  • Can't get iphone calendar entries to appear in ical

I can't get iphone calendar entries to appear in ical. Also, my iphone has hung up on sycning calendars several times. Even the couple of times it has gone through it, nothing I enter on the iPhone goes into ical.
    Imac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.5)
    iPhone *   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Mine also seems to be syncing iCal info o.k. from my phone. Tried it again today with several calendar entries and all showed up perfectly in iCal.
I have also been using the calendarcreator service for a while on my MBP and this shows up on the info pane for my iPhone and allows me to select it to sync with. I believe this is how my iPhone info is getting into iCal but I will confirm this again tonight.

  • Since I down loaded Mavericks I can't sync calendars with iPhone. How can I sync iPhone calendar and Mac calendar

Since I downloaded Mavericks on my Mac I can't sync calendars with iphone. How can I sync iphone calendars with Mac calendar?

    Mavericks syncs Calendar via iCloud.
Make sure you have the same iCloud account set up on your mac and your iPhone.
In System Preferences > iCloud, make sure the Calendars checkbox is checked.
In System Preferences > Internet Accounts, iCloud should be an account in the box on the left, and Calendars should be checked in the box on the right. If you have other calendars, for example, from work, make sure those are enabled too.
Check the same settings on your iPhone: in Settings > iCloud, make sure the same iCloud account info is present and that the Calendars slider is on. in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, make sure the iCloud account is present, and that the Calendars slider is on.

  • How can I sync iPhone calendar with my wife's iPhone?

How can I sync my iPhone calendar with my wife's iPhone calendar and vice versa?  Along with my iPad and iMac?

One option is to share your iCloud calendars if all your devices are connected to iCloud and you are syncing your calendars with iCloud (see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2690).  (You would need to be running OS X Lion on your iMac to sync with iCloud.)

  • Can CameraWindow on iPhone connect directly to a camera like N100 without a separate wifi network?

On the app store page for CameraWindow, it says "You can either connect the camera directly to the device (set the camera as a simplified access point)"
Does this mean if I'm in the field with no access to a wifi network, there would be a way to connect a camera directly to an iphone and transfer photos with CameraWindow?
I just want to make sure of this before I buy a camera.

    Hi,
Camera Window will only work with Canon camera's, but yes you can connect it in one of two ways, via a wifi hotspot created on your phone, or a peer to peer on the camera (if it supports it).

  • I can't get my calendar to sync with Yahoo

My iPhone 4 used to sync contacts and calendar events automatically with Yahoo but now it doesn't.

    Welcome to the discussions,
As for the camera: check your restriction settings in Settings/General/Restrictions/->Camera has to be activated.
    As for the sync process:
Every time you change the computer you usually sync to, iTunes will erase and replace your media content on the phone.
To make things easier it might be a good idea to create a new user in Windows, log in and set up your iTunes account. Make sure that the computer is authorized in the Store menu and autosync is deactivated in iTunes/Preferences/Devices.
Then connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose "backup". This will back up your settings and data without the sync process. See what's included in a backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time, to copy apps and bought media from iTunes to your iTunes library.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer, to be able to merge contact and calendar data during the first sync.
After that sync, which will erase your phone, but you can use the manual backup you made to restore from, and all your data and settings should be there again. You'll have to put in some passwords again for your network connections and mail, that's for security reasons.
Restoring from a backup is covered here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

  • How can I upload vcs calendar directly to icloud

    Hi
I would like to try and start using my laptop/computer a lot less these days and rely on my ipad/iphone.
I received a VCS calnder request on my iPhone is there any way I can install this directly from the email or upload it to icloud?
    Thanks in advance

If you CREATE an iWork document on the iPad or iPhone (with the documents sync enabled on that device) it will immedatly appear on iCloud and all other iPads and iPhones sharing that iCloud account.  To get the document into your MacBook, you have to log into iCloud, click on the document, and select "download".  You can then open it on the MacBook and edit it.
If you want to put it back to iCloud, you have to save it, then physically drag and drop the file to the iCloud window in Safari.  This will upload it, but nothing can be done with it at iCloud.com yet.  It is now simply avaialble to be opened on your iPhone or iPad.  Once you open it on one of those devices, and then close/save it, it will be available on iCloud.com for viewing or editing.

  • How can i email my calendar directly from my ipad?

  • Can i synch iphone calendar that is not on iCloud with my macbook that was on iCloud which i just signed out of and lost that info?

i signed into icloud last night on my macbook, but now realize i don't want to use it.  I have looked at a lot of threads to try to figure out how to sign out, get rid of it and not lose my contacts, calendar and documents and data.  I did a time machine backup thinking i could just get it back that way afterwards. So i signed out and have lost my contacts etc. My question is,  i had not set icloud up on my iphone, so if i synched my phone with my macbook will it synch the lost contacts and calendars with my macbook or will i lose that information of  my phone as well? The time machine backup up i did seemed to have that information missing as well. I am confused!
    thanks for any help

Thanks for reply, I had just updated to 10.8.5 on macbook. I had set up icloud  on my macbook, signing in with password etc. it all happened so quick and it didnt allow me time to say no to document and data backup. At that stage i was interested only in having my calendar being able to be read over my iphone and macbook etc. When i realized icloud was not suitable to me, i looked up several threads on this issue. Then  i went into system- icloud  and it said backup now and because my usage was 4.99g unused out of 5g i just thought it hadn't got to that stage of backing up and that  it would be safe to go through the process of signing out which of course involves having to press the delete of mac if i wanted to sign out.
sorry if long winded but i am unfamiliar with icloud as you can see but icloud  is not suited to me and just want to get my stuff back out of icloud and restore my comp to the way it was.
    thanks for your help

  • I can't sync icloud calendar on my iphone 4s

I have my calendar synced to icloud and it works on my computer but I can't find it on my phone. When I try to add events that are linked to accounts to my iphone calendar i see my yahoo, gmail, and facebook events but icloud isn't even an option. When I looked in my settings icloud was an account for calendars. I've turned the on/off calendar switch for icloud multiple times and it still doesn't work.

MobileMe was discontinued, so you can't use it anymore. What proble have you got downloading OS X Mountain Lion?

  • Sync of iPhone Calendar over WebDAV?

My question is: do you think that Apple might offer a possibility to sync the iPhone Calendar directly to a .ics-file hosted on a WebDAV server in future versions of the firmware?
We use this method to have a group calendar for users of Windows (via Sunbird) and Mac (via iCal)...
If I could access (read and write) this iCal-File from my iPhone, it would even be more of a "Breakthrough Internet Device"...

    Hey WolfMuc,
You can leave feedback and request this feature be added to the iPhone here:

  • IPhone Calendar keeps syncing with Google even though no Gmail account on it

My iPhone calendar always shows all my work Gmail calender events- I can't get rid of this!  There's no Gmail account on the phone- if I log in to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect on the phone then I can't de-select it as the tickbox is greyed out.
I have no Google apps on the phone - so nothing I can delete there and I can't see anything about the phone in Google settings.
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
I am writing about my wife's brand new Samsung Charge on Verizon. We managed to setup both her gmail account and her work exchange server account fine, except for the calendars:
Her Google calendar shows up fine, but I am unable to even see any other Google calendars that she has access to (both her own secondary calendars as well as calendars that others have shared with her) in order to select them to be visible.
Her exchange calendar says it is enabled (on the list of available calendars), but no events at all show up.
This behavior is with the latest software updates on the Charge (2.2.1 firmware, I510.EE4 build) using its stock calendar software. I did notice that if I use Smooth Calendar, it does list all of her Google calendars under its listing of available calendars, but it still only shows data from her primary calendar. This is also true using the Touch Calendar app, which leads me to believe that there is some problem within the Google Calendar sync software that is not allowing her calendars to appear correctly.
    Thanks!
    Hello whereizben,
I see you have posted same post in another thread.  I have already replied to that posting with a solution.  Please see the following link for my reply:

    Hi,
You cannot manually manage music with match turned on on your iOS device. If you want to manage music manually, you will need to turn off match on your iPhone.
