Can we use assumetargetdef along with sourcedef

Yes you can, if you have the below costraints.
{SOURCEDEFS <full_pathname>} | ASSUMETARGETDEFS
Use SOURCEDEFSif the source and target  tables have different definitions. Specify the source data-definitions file generated by DEFGEN.
Use ASSUMETARGETDEFS, if the source and target tables have the same definitions.
For Oracle databases that use multi-byte character sets, you must use SOURCEDEFS(with a DEFGEN-generated definitions file) if the source semantics setting is in bytes and the target is in characters. This is required even when the source and target data definitions are identical.
In other words, after taking into consideration the constraints noted in the documentation, the answer is "No, you can't."

You should state what it is, exactly that you are trying to achieve.  "Source definitions" are for the trail being read. There is only one "definition" for the trail. ("Definition" in this sense, means the DDL that was used to generate the tables on the source database.)  The data captured from the source database is "applied" via SQL to the "target" database. The data is "mapped" from the source schema to the target schema. If you don't know what the source schema was, you can assume the target & source schemas are the same, and use the "AssumeTargetDefs" parameter.  However, if the source & target table definitions are different, then you'd use "SourceDefs {definitions file}" together with a database connection to the target database for the "target definitions".  (There are specific instances where you can have a "sourcedefs {file}" together in the same parameter file with a "targetdefs {file}", but that doesn't usually apply. It allows doing mapping upstream, before accessing the target database, to create a trail with a different definition (schema) than the original source database.)

  • (Sales & Operations Planning) - Can we use RMCPSOP along with IDoc method

    Hi,
While transferring data to demand mgmt(SOP) using the standard mass processing, sometimes the job is getting failed with error u201CNo period unit maintained in material masteru201D, after analysing the code which is triggering this error, we found that when ever an S076E is not the for corresponding Planning entry, it is triggering the error.
We are using the standard mass processing job using IDoc method to update S076((Sales & Operations Planning), we found that sometimes the S076E table was not getting updated with the Material/Plant combination. As suggested in SAP Note 500354 Program RMCPSOP can be used to synchronize S076 and S076E tables. Seeing the technical description of the suggested program it will create S076 and S076E entries based on PGMI and PGZU tables.
    My question is
    1) Can we use the RMCPSOP along with IDoc method, does it overwrites the S076 entries which were updated with IDoc method?
    2) At what step should the RMCPSOP executed if we use IDoc method.

If you find nearly all the fileds which are asked by ur partner in that idoc, thats fine.
    > my second query is , in this idoc along with other information we also have to send information related to "REASON CODE" and "To Stock Status" ( Like in case material is transferred from Blocked to unrestricted stock type and To Stock status will be Unrestricted ) but these fields are not available in idoc defination , what should I do ?

You can extend the idoc, if you still think that you are having enough fileds in standard idoc, which are usefull.

  • Integrating Exchange 2013 & Lync Server 2013: can't use a certificate with Seth-AuthConfig

I'm trying to integrate Exchange and Lyn Server. One of the first steps is to bind a correct certificate to IIS on all of the CAS servers and set it as a main certificate in the global AuthConfig object. The certificate must be the same on all of the
CAS servers because the autodiscover.domain.local DNS record points to all of them, and Lync Server uses this FQDN to access Exchange servers. The thumbprint of this certificate must be specified in Set-AuthConfig command run on an Exchange server.
We have an internal enterprise CA. I generated a certificate on one of the CAS servers and bound it to all of the Exchange services. Then I exported it, imported it on the second CAS server and bound it to all of the services as well. Now Exchange correctly uses
it for OWA, for example, and IE gives no security warnings when I connect to OWA.
However, whenever I run Set-AuthConfig command on any server, it keeps telling me that
The certificate with thumbprint XXXX was found but is not valid for use with Exchange Server (reason: PrivateKeyNotAccessible).
The key IS accessible - I can export the certificate along with its private key. What's wrong?

    Here's the answer.
It seems that the -Server switch in the Set-AuthConfig command is only used to specify where you want to look for the certificate with the given thumbprint. However, it's impossible to predict which Exchange server will actually perform the operation
(the Server switch doesn't influence it a bit). It could be ANY server, even a mailbox one with no CAS role at all. And, of course, another Exchange server has no access to the certificate store of the CAS server where the certificate is actually stored. It
was exactly the case in my environment.
So in order to enable this certificate you must import it on ALL of your Exchange servers. You need't (and even shouldn't) enable it for any services on your mailbox servers if you don't want to, just import it.

    Hi,
not sure if coincidence or the same question, but the same question got asked internally. The seeded option is required to get the OJSP filter installed. Here's the internal response
ADF View integration with MDS not configured
In web.xml, you need to have mds-ojsp intg enabled to load jspx base + customizations from MDS. In your web project in Jdev, go to ADFv project properties and select “Seeded customization” property. It would enable mds-jsp engine configuration in web.xml. If you want to use user personalization feature at runtime, you would need to select “User customization” property as well which would enable ADFv change persistence config in web.xml.
Warning: Some of the metadata under ... is packaged as part of both WAR and MAR. This metadata cannot be accessed from WAR using MDS.
For these two packages, you are including the files in both WAR & MAR. This warning conveys that since these base files are being put in MAR, at runtime they would be read from mds repository & not from WAR.

How do i run an external monitor with my macbook and change settings so that when i close the lid the signal to the monitor is not lost and i can continue using the mac with a mouse and a wireless keyboard?

No, nothing will prevent the computer from going to sleep when you close its display except third-party hacks that are designed to do exactly that. I strongly advise against using any of those, as they may interfere with successful entry into clamshell mode (and they carry other downside risks as well). Just wait until the computer is asleep (with its sleep light pulsing), then press any key on the keyboard. It sounds as though your setup is working as it's designed to do.

  • How can I use an iPad with two itunes accounts?

How can I use an iPad with two itunes accounts?
    Hi there
My partner has a works iPad, which has her works Apps on (ones that are specifically made by her company and are NOT available in the App store).
What I want to be able to do is to ALSO have my itunes account on there so that I can put all the apps I have purchased previously from my iPhone on it.
This is so I can put on VLC player (thats already in my itunes account) so I can add videos to the iPad.
How do I do this please?
I tried it before by connecting it to my mac, but it wiped everything off the iPad completely and also deleted the data settings for using 3G.
So I want to avoid this happening again the future as it had to be sent back to her head office to be sorted again.
    Any advise please?
    Thanks

You can't. The iPad is desgined to be a 'one user' device and only really works with one apple ID at a time.
The only way would be if she, at work and with her work apple id, downloaded your apps (repurchasing them of course).
It's not meant to be a multiple user/multiple ID device.

  • How can I use the NI PXI-6508 with Lab View 7? what are the first steps to get started??How can I use the channels with lab view 7????

I have a 8 slot PXI system with 2 NI PXI 6508 and 1 DMM 4070 in it. I want to get started with programming the digital I/O cards (6508)! How can I use this cards with LabView 7?what is the best way to get started, or where can I get examples showing how to use the several channels?
    Thanks!
    Philipp

    Philipp,
The best way to get started is to decide if you want to use traditional NI-DAQ or NI-DAQmx. Recently we released NI-DAQ 7.1 which provides NI-DAQmx support for the PXI-6508. In my opinion, NI-DAQmx is more efficient and much easier to use.
To get started with examples, simply launch LabVIEW and go to Help>>Find Examples. Then expand Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx and select the appropriate digital group for your application. This should help get you started.
Please repost if you need addition assistance. Good luck with your application!

  • I had Leopard on may Mac. I upgraded to Mountain Lion using Snow Leopard. I can't use my video with Mountain Lion. Can I load Snow Leopard on an external hard drive so I can use it with my camera?

I had Leopard on may Mac. I upgraded to Mountain Lion using Snow Leopard. I can't use my video with Mountain Lion. Can I load Snow Leopard on an external hard drive so I can use it with my camera?

First, you cannot do this if you have a Boot Camp partition.
    Second: Create a new partition.
    1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
After the main menu appears select Disk Utility and click on the Continue button. Select the hard drive's main entry then click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    2. You should see the graphical sizing window showing the existing partitions. A portion may appear as a blue rectangle representing the used space on a partition.
    3. In the lower right corner of the sizing rectangle for each partition is a resizing gadget. Select it with the mouse and move the bottom of the rectangle upwards until you have reduced the existing partition enough to create the desired new volume's size. The space below the resized partition will appear gray. Click on the Apply button and wait until the process has completed.  (Note: You can only make a partition smaller in order to create new free space.)
    4. Click on the [+] button below the sizing window to add a new partition in the gray space you freed up. Give the new volume a name, if you wish, then click on the Apply button. Wait until the process has completed.
You should now have a new volume on the drive.
It would be wise to have a backup of your current system as resizing is not necessarily free of risk for data loss.  Your drive must have sufficient contiguous free space for this process to work.
    Third: Install Snow Leopard.
Boot from your Snow Leopard DVD. Follow instructions for installation being sure that before you actually install Snow Leopard you have selected the new partition as your target destination.
Booting From An OS X Installer Disc
      1. Insert OS X Installer Disc into the optical drive.
      2. Restart the computer.
      3. Immediately after the chime press and hold down the "C" key.
      4. Release the key when the spinning gear below the dark gray Apple logo
          appears.
      5. Wait for installer to finish loading.

Yes, I believe so. Please check out the NetPortal app. I don't have an iPad, but I use it on my iPod Touch to access files on my Time Capsule. It is available from the iTunes App Store.
