Can we use free goods in MTO,thirdparty

We cannot use free goods in MTO,thirdparty processing,
do we have any sap documents supporting it,can u pls provide.

Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.
Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: u2018With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of chargeu2018 or u2018If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of chargeu2018.

So not possible in MTO and third party

If you plan on renting out a VM, then you need to look at the hosting programs - http://www.vmware.com/solutions/hosting/index.html. The base EULA for ESX and ESXi do not allow for the rental of VMs but I believe it may be possible to get an exemption to that.

How can I use "Free Selection" in Dunning?

Hi,
I am trying to generate the Dunning notice for only Customers that have the Dunning Area Code as 01. For that I am using the 'Free Selection". I have selected the Customer master and then the dunning area and didn't checked the Exclude box and then in "Values" I have mentioned the Dunning Area Code as 01. But, System is not picking it up so what shall I do. Also, I have some questions in mind:
1) Why there are two sections of 'Values" field?
2) What is the process or steps to 'Exclude' the data?
3) How can I use Dunning groups?

You can tell what version of iOS you have via Settings > General > About > Version
If you are in Iraq then unfortunately you can't currently get any content, including apps, from Apple (and Apple is the only source for apps) as there isn't currently an iTunes store in your country. If/when that is likely to change I don't know.

Can't use free download Reader

Reader xi dissappeared from our computer a year ago somehow. We tried to load the free Reader, but it takes over the icons on our desktop and we can't access any of these programs. The Reader program that came with our computer didn't do that. Whats up?

PrEL 2 or 7? and can PrEL use a good graphics card

I am using PrEl 2 at the moment on a P4 computer which are getting slow (also using Photoshop elements)
what is the benifit of upgrading to PrEl 7 and PES7?
if I buy a new motherboard and graphics card - is there some GPU functions that PrEL can use to make rendering etc faster?

In addition to Steve's tips above, here are some thoughts on your proposal:
1.) graphics card vs chip - most intel on-board graphics chips are minimal at best. I'd suggest going with an inexpensive card, and probably a lower-end ATI. I use more nVidia cards on my systems, but lately people have been having all sorts of issues, especially with the recent nVidia drivers. Guess that I am just lucky. At the same time, ATI's are getting high marks.
2.) your I/O is very important, as you state. I feel that 2 physical (no partitions!) HDD's is the minimum and three will be even better. As for SSD, I feel the price vs performance is still not even close. Maybe next generation (next week - next month - next year?), but not yet. Though a RAID configuration will likely be faster (depends on how one sets up their array), I would advise against using one for the system HDD. I would only consider them for media discs if one did any configuration ending in 0, i.e. 0, 30, 50.
3.) as for RAM, and taking Steve's comments to heart, I'd stick with XP, or Vista 32-bit for the OS, so you will be limited to 4GB RAM, knowing that your OS will only be able to use ~ 3.4GB of that. Depending on the application, the rest might not be totally wasted, but you will get that >3GB usage, and that would be worth it to me, even if ~ 0.6GB goes to "waste." All of my machines are running XP-Pro 32-bit w/ 4GB RAM. Some with the 3GB switch, and some without it.
4.) if you do go with the new MoBo, CPU and say 3x HDD's, pay close attention to your PSU (Power Suppy), and make sure that it can handle the new CPU, plus any/all HDD's. This is often overlooked, when one is upgrading.

Configuring Filesystem Free Disks for ASM ? Can you use free space for ASM

Is there a way to dedicate the available disk space for ASM in order to create a database under ASM?
I was hoping that I would not have to reinstall the Linux OS Enterprise 5 (Red Hat). So I de-installed my 2-node RAC environment, installed the ASM required RPMs for Red Hat linux Enterperise 5 and then proceeded to reinstall 11g Clusterware and set "Configure Automatic Storage Management (ASM)".

I have 3 VM-Oracle guests running Oracle 11g. When I've used NFS as share that worked fine, however I was not using ASM. I know wish to get smart about ASM implementation.

Can't use free transform automatically, why ?

Hello, I need your help with some information about Free Transform.
When I drawn a square for example (or any other shape), I need to press the button "E" (Free Transform Tool), to resize it, otherwise won`t work automatically, this is my problem.
I want the Free Transform to be automatically, in that way I work easily.

I solved the problem. I delete the preference folder. ( All Users/Appdata/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator cs6 Settings to delete), I reset the settings.
I acted in this way because I did not know the command to restore the problem.

Tax Calculation of free goods

We have a requirement where the client wants only VAT to be posted in GL accounts and not the price.For this I tried free goods condition type R100 with AltCBV 28.But the VAT value is also coming zero. I want the VAT to be calculated on Pricing condition and then give 100% discount.
Apart from this I also tried to make pricing condition statistical and calculate VAT on it but then also system gives zero value for VAT.
Also wondering if the scenario can be addressed with Free of Change Dellivery.

Normally in scenario where you are dealing with samples , there are cases you have to charge only TAXES / EXCISE part.
Here my SUGGESTION is you can handle this through a simple sales order process, where you have to configure a new pricing procedure.
1. Create a new document type to handle samples.
2. Create a New pricing procedure where you can keep the basic price condtion as Statistical and rest all same as wht is is there your main pricing procedure. Just juggle with the TO-FROM to capture the TAX part in the total.
3. Doc pricing procedure will help you to pick the new Pricing procedure
4. Now Process this as a normal sales order
5. This new document type will help you to have a proper reporting.
The only constraint here is USER has to punch a fresh order seperately for such scenario. He cannot give a free good in the same sales order which is used as standard.
The other way is you can configure a FREE GOOD Determination procedure as suggested where you need to then have your Single pricing procedure accomodating the same scenario.

Free goods play a large role in price negotiations with your customers. As a result, free goods are determined to be placed in sales document automatically. In retail, chemical industry or consumer goods industry, it is common to provide discounts in the form of free goods.
a. Inclusive Bonus Quantities Free goods can be part of order quantity not included in the invoice (billing). This is called inclusive bonus quantity. The ordered goods and the free goods both involve the same material. The quantity units of the free goods and the ordered goods must be the same.
b. Exclusive Bonus Quantities Free goods that take the form of extra goods that are free of charge are called exclusive bonus quantities. In this case, the extra bonus quantities are not typically included in the invoice (billing). This can either be an additional quantity of the goods ordered or it can be another article. The exclusive free of goods appear in the SD document as an individual free of charge item.
Both types of free goods are treated in the same way in the sales order. The material that has been ordered is entered as a main item (TAN) and the free item (TANN) is automatically displayed as a sub item. The item category determines how the item is controlled later in the business process.
The system re-reads the free goods master record in the sales order if the quantities in the main item change or if the pricing date changes. The system then deletes the sub items and re-creates them. Any manual changes to the free goods quantity are lost.
Note: If pricing is re-run in the sales order, it does not affect the free goods determination.
The condition technique is used for free goods. Free goods are generally regarded as a supplement to the pricing agreement for a material. You can define master records for free goods at any level such as material, customer/material, price list category/currency/material or customer hierarchy/material. The transaction code is VBN1 and condition type NA00 which automatically gets converted into R100 during sales document processing.
You can restrict a free goods condition master record for one level in many ways
a. Validity period: the condition is only valid within this period
b. Lowest quantity: the condition comes into affect when this quantity has been exceeded.
c. Delivery control:

You can process different master data with the same key for inclusive and exclusive bonus quantities at the same time. You only need to press a button to switch between two types of discount. When you enter an exclusive bonus quantity, an extra entry line appears where you can enter the free material if it is not the same as the ordered material.
When you specify a calculation rule, you decide how the system determines the free goods quantity in the sales order from the additional and document quantities.
a. The free goods quantity is the quantity that is calculated from the discount quantity (not the minimum quantity)
b. Additional quantity is the quantity delivered free of charge
c. Document quantity is the quantity entered by the person creating the sales order.
three calculation rules are provided by the system i.e.
a. Prorated the system calculates the free goods in right proportion to document the quantity. For example if 20 units are offered for free for 100 units in the condition record and the customer orders 162 units, then the system calculates 162 * 20/100 (rounded off) as free goods.
b. Related to units 20 units are given for free for every 100 units ordered. In the above case the customer would only get 20 units free as he placed an order for 162 units.
c. Whole units the customer would not get any free goods if he doesnt match the exact quantity proposed. That is, in the above case, the customer doesnt get any free goods as the ordered quantity did not match 100 units. Anything below or over the mark will not be qualified for a free good.
Calculation rules are stored in the system in the form of ABAP/4 code. You can also define your own rules by using transaction code VOFM (system modifications).
The free goods determination procedure contains a list of condition types for the free goods. One access sequence is assigned to each condition type and each access sequence contains one ore more accesses and each access contains exactly one table. This represents the search key that the system uses to search for valid condition records.
The free goods determination procedure is assigned to sales area + document pricing procedure + customer pricing procedure just as in the case of pricing procedure assignment as free goods are generally regarded as a supplement to the pricing agreement for a material.
If the search is successful, the system generates a sub item for free goods in the document. The item category is assigned with the item category usage FREE.
You can activate an analysis of the free goods determination in the sales document. The system then displays detailed information on how the free goods were determined.

Business Scenario - I have created a BOM "ABC" at Main item level (ERLA) with components B, C and want to give 2 different Items X, Y as free goods other that sub components. So is it possible to assign TANN itm catg with TAQ, will it work ? what will happen with taxes for free goods?

1. Application of Free Goods in BOM is not posible. Moreover Free goods attract zero value only the material document is updated.
I can suggest you to use the process "Rebate of a Kind" where in you can manually enter the subproducts as free goods only thing is you will have to mention main item lineno in the higherlevel item categor of the sales order.
Though i tried long back the requirement you need, it will not work the best way is to give manually in SO.
2. Free sample maintain seperate process i.e, Document Type, item category Pricin Procedure.
For Configuration please check Img -->SD --> BF --> Free Goods --> Condition Technique free goods
-- Better you maintain "C" Document type while doing determination.

SO-Free goods found but not apply

HI everybody,
Please help me solve this problem:
I've finished free goods and tested OK 2 months ago. It doesn't work when I come back and check again.
I have configed and define master data VBN1, I use free goods analysis to check, system found condition record and display "Condition record has been specified", but when I click on that condition record "The condition record for use N can not be displayed". And no have any subsequent item under Main Item (system even don't warning when I input quantity smaller minimum quantity of free goods as in the past).
More Infor: I just use Exclusive for Free goods with the very simple way. And I still can input manually free goods by inputting higher level item no.
I have researched every topic and check config again and again but it doesn't seem to work. Please suggest me any way to continue.

Use Tcode VBN2.
Provide your Free Goods condition type - Discount type in VBN2 and click on Condition Information button.
This would take you to display condition record screen.
Don't provide/maintain any data in selection parameter & Execute.
But kee validity period/date in check.
If any condition record is maintain, then you will be able to see the result in List for Condition Type screen.
You can also follow Table KONDN - Conditions: Free goods - Data section to check whether you have any data maintained.
