I have created a Z Table. and I maintained the Table maintenance generator for the same. Now, my requirement is.. I have to create Transaction code for maintain and Display of this Z table.
Can someone help me how to create the transaction code for Maintain and Display of the table. I know that we have to create a Transaction code for 'SM30'. Can someone tell me the steps to do the same. When I goto SE93 and say CREATE transaction, I get 5 options, Which one to select and what are the details should I provide in the subsequent screens.

1. Go to Tcode u2018se93u2019.
2. Select ' Transaction with parameters'.
3. Then Transaction 'SM30' with click on skip initial screen
      VIEWNAME : XXX9tABLE NAME)
      UPDATE   : X
4. Maintain the Table maintenance generator
Authorization group : &NC&
Authorization object :
Function group : name(xxx)
Maintenance Screens :
Maintenance type : One step
Maint Screen No : Overview screen (2)

Do this. Declare another internal table of identical structure as table t say t1.
REFRESH t1.
APPEND LINES OF t TO t1.
DELETE t1 WHERE zuonr IS INITIAL.
and then use t1 to display the ALV.

I have the problem with Table maintanance generator. I have created table maintanace generator for Ztable and moved it to the Quality, Production.
But in Quality and Production It is not allowing to create the entries. It is saying non modfiable.

Yes, u are right. It will ask for a request.
2. Create a request.
3. Also do not forget to re-generate the table maintenance.
(At that time also it will ask for request)
4. Transport the request to QA and PRD. It will work fine then.

Can not view the code for views, triggers or table definition

Hello Gurus,
I can not see the code for any of the triggers, views, tables etc. in sql developer. For instance a view code will be
"create or replace" and then nothing, I could see the code in the past.
When clicking on SQL tab for table I get following errors
1. Ora-00904 Invalid Column name
2. Ora-31600: invalid input value emit_schema for parameter name in function SET_TRANSFORM_PARAMORA-06512: at SYs.DBMS_SYS_ERROR............................

Sqldev was only certified starting from 9.0.2, so it's possible that's the culprit. The latest update in the certification document even omits 9i entirely.
Did it start happening after upgrading sqldev? What version are you on?

If you are talking about the serial number, as far as I know serial numbers are entirely numeric so there is no need to enter letters. Maybe you are using the incorrect code.

First, even I would like to stress the point mentioned above by Suhas. No matter how critical the issue is & even if you have these rights in Production, do NOT change the values in Production system. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.
About your question of activating from the debugger:
The De-bugger only opens the source code in a New Window. Till you execute the existing code or activate it from the ABAP EDITOR, your code remains the same. As you are in Production you will have to trnasport the changes after activating the code with the changes.

You can write it inside the Form include i.e LxxxF01., where xxx is the table name.
The other 3 includes are as follows :
1. LxxxI01
2. LxxxO01
3. LxxxTOP
where LxxxI01 and LxxxO01 are used for Process after input and Process before input events resp.
