Can WSUS coexist on Site Servers if we don't want to use SUP?

We are a multi-site shop with one SCCM 2012 site server in each location. We don't need the more robust options for delivering Windows Updates that SCCM+SUP brings, and are content to use WSUS and the traditional WUACLT interface instead. However,
we still want to use SCCM to deploy Software Packages and Applications, so the server in each location will still be configured as an SCCM Site Server. If we remove all Software Update Point roles from our Site Servers, disable Software Updates in our
SCCM Client Settings and create the proper WSUS Group Policy Objects... can we install a working WSUS service on each of our locations' servers?
Will the WSUS service on each branch's server function normally, even though the machine is also a SCCM Site Server, configured with various SCCM Site Roles such as Distribution Point? Or will the SCCM server role break or otherwise prevent WSUS from
working properly?

From a technical perspective, this will work fine, sure. However, why would you do this? Why would you have multiple ConfigMgr sites also? Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. You're adding a lot of complexity for no reason.

With iPhoto every new photo was automatically imported and saved on my local disk (with "full resolution" that's what I only need). In the new photo app I have still my photo stream and when I move a photo (drag and drop from the photo stream) to a new album it indicates a (plus). My understanding is that the photo is now copied to my local disk. But when I deleted the photo in the photo stream it was also deleted in the album !?
If that is the case I can use the photo stream only until I reach the max of 1.000 photos, then I have to delete photos and I will have no copy left.
How can I "physically" copy a photo of the photo stream to my local disk? I just want to "transfer" all pictures taken with Ipads, Iphones to my central storage on the Mac. Please don't propose to connect it via iTunes (cable) to the Mac.
Any other suggestions?

The amazing device cannot do it because no amazing developer has written an app for it. There is some interest, others have asked, but i have a hunch that the market is fairly limited, and no developer has jumped at the chance just yet.
Any sort of tethered approach means try to feed the material to the pad thru the cck. Which means the app would have to use the allowed/existing cck pathway in a manner that does not violate the sandbox rules. That may be the problem.

Hey there tjbliven,
It sounds like you are not able to use the dictation feature of iOS 8, becuase the microphone icon is missing. It seems to me like Siri may be turned off, which would cause the icon to not be there:
Siri settings - iPhone
To set options for Siri, go to Settings > General > Siri. Options include:
Turning Siri on or off
That should get the dictation feature back for you.

If you're positive the information is correct, ask the issuing bank why the transaction is being rejected.
You're getting this error because the store can not authorize the card with your bank.

iCloud provides a simple gallery in the form of 'Photo Journal' - uploading of photos from iPhoto to web pages hosted on iCloud, but only from iOS devices; and the photos are compressed to a size adequate for online viewing but are not available in full resolution as with the old MobileMe Gallery. I'm having the same problem. It's as if my iPhone and MacBook Pro now have two separate calendars.
Basically, I have a MacBook Pro (Mountain Lion, 13", late 2011) that I sync via USB with an iPhone 4S (iOS 5.1.1). Before upgrading to Mountain Lion, all of my iCal events would sync flawlessly. But none of the events I've created in iCal (Calendars) since upgrading have synced to the iPhone. Likewise, no new events that I create on the iPhone Calendar will sync to iCal. Also, changes to an existing event (even one created before upgrading to Mountain Lion) don't get synced either.
Everything else seems to be syncing just fine though (music, apps, contacts, etc).

I have a 5gig file downloading in the App store. I have the option to pause it and then hide it, can I just delete it altogether? I don't want it.

I downloaded and installed Mavericks, but I somehow started downloading it again. That's a half hour to download the 5gigs and I'd rather just delet it than sit and wait. Right now, I have it paused but I don't want to leave it paused forever. How do I go about deleting it?

Unless you are re downloading Mavericks to create a USB installer, there's no need to download it again.
Mavericks cannot be deleted but you can, "hide' it.

How can another user on my system share their document if they cannot access a public drop box, do not have an email account setup on the system and we don't want to use iwork?

Please help. My DS created a document under his login on my PowerBook and now, I cannot seem to access it. He doesn't have an email account of his own, I can't seem to save it as a public document in a drop box like I can from my own login and we do not want to use iwork. Is there a way to save it so that I can access it from my login to email to his teacher. I don't want to have to retype it into Pages under my login.

Save the document from his account to an external drive or thumb drive.
Set the permissions (using Finder > Get Info) for "Everyone" to Read and Write.
Your DS will likely be the owner of the file, so you may need his login password to change the permissions.
