Can you access creative cloud programs on multiple computers as a student?

Hi there,
I am a student and i recently purchased CC on my laptop, i thought that you could access the programs on two computers if not logged in at the same time? is this not the case? if not am i able to transfer my membership from my laptop to my iMac?

Yes, you are allowed to have working installations on two machines.  To get it on the second machine just repeat the process for it... install the Cloud manager, sign in, install the applications.

Can I access my itunes account on multiple computers?

    What do you mean access?
You can certainly sign into your account from any computer with itunes.
Your content will only be where you put it.  You can put it/copy it wherever you like.
In some countries you can redownload some itunes purchased content:

    Ken,
Please be aware that having the Block Cookies settings in Safari set to "from third parties and advertisers" does not allow access to your company's online support chat system.  I was trying to figure that out earlier and this came up.  Someone needs to work out a way for there to be nonconflicting configurations for different parts of the site.
(If you have it set to the default, the button for the support chat does not appear, only if you have it set to 'never'.)
I am still getting an issue where I have an 'https:localhost/ appearing as a fail-to-open on the creative.adobe.com page, despite changing the cookies earlier as noted.   My hosts file is clear.  I can use it from Firefox and Chrome, but Chrome's issues with its caching drove me away from it (I do not need a 400mb cache), and Firefox has been rather slow.  The site works fine, I just am concerned about this 'localhost' request.
In addition, the page simply sits there trying to load from it, and eventually I get an error that the page has hung while loading.

  • Can't access creative cloud with safari

I get a blank page every time I try to access any creative cloud pages from Safari.  I've tried emptying cache, quiting and restarting, etc.  It's fine from Firefox.  The Activity window says https:localhosts/   bad url.
    Anyone else have this problem?

  • Can you download creative cloud in two computers?

they are the full programs and with a single user license you can install and activate on up to two computers concurrently.

  • I have downloaded Premiere Pro CS6 on my work PC, but can't find it to open it anywhere. I can find other Creative Cloud programs I downloaded though.

I have a one-year Creative Cloud subscription on my Mac, and I recently opened it on my work PC as well (as customer support told me I could do). I downloaded Photoshop, Indesign, and Bridge, and have successfully used them all on this PC, but I can't find Premiere Pro CS6 to open it though. Wondering if it's a problem with the computer, or if it's something that can be fixed/how to fix it.

CS6 via the Cloud requires an extra step... did you do as described below?

I got a new mac last week, then bought creative cloud.  I wanted my plug ins from my old mac switched over, but the whole lot migrated over.  My computer now has my old CS6 in it, and I want to get creative cloud back.  Problem is I have different sign in id's and can't seem to access my creative cloud at all.  Does anyone know how to resolve this?

  • How can you use creative cloud to enhance a blog

We have recently started blogging on our site. We have made use of Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance a readers experience with photos.
Not super experienced at this, is there other/better creative cloud apps we should use to make our blog look better?

What does "make our blog look better" mean? What blog? You cannot arbitrarily change the design of a blog without having knowledge of the underlying "Themes" and API and actually having access to those files, which for many free services is simply not possible.

Looking at Creative Cloud x one license.
I work from a desktop at work and laptop from home. Does the license allow me to install on both and work from either (not simultaneously), or do I need 2 licenses.
    Many Thanks

  • Question about installing a Creative Cloud app on multiple computers.

If I install a Creative Cloud app on Computer A and Computer B, and then I uninstall the app from Computer B, can I then install the app on Computer C?
If yes, are there any special steps I need to take in this process?

@gary0a1 - I assume you are referring to reply 20 by Jeff Wright from May 2012: "Yes you can have both computers turned on and connected at the same time.  As long as you are only using the applications on one computer at a time it is not a violation of the EULA."
A single user can now use the software on two computers at the same time.
See the Creative Cloud FAQ here https://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html under the Getting started section:
Can I use the software I download from Creative Cloud on multiple computers?
Yes, you can use Creative Cloud desktop applications on two computers at once, regardless of operating system, for the individual associated with the Creative Cloud membership. See the product license agreements page for more information.
    Hi Ken,
Hoping you could offer some clarification on this.  The current version of the CC FAQ doesn't seem to have same language as before; here's what it says now:
Can I use the software I download from Creative Cloud on more than one machine?
Yes. Creative Cloud desktop applications can be downloaded and installed on multiple computers, regardless of operating system. However, activation is limited to two machines per individual associated with the membership. See the terms of use for more information. Learn how to deactivate a Creative Cloud license on a machine.
...what's more, the Creative Cloud EULA was updated on June 18, 2014, completely replacing the prior one from October 16, 2012.  The new Adobe General Terms of Use reads:
"You may activate the Software on up to 2 devices (or virtual machines) at a time, if these activations are associated with the same Adobe ID for the same individual, unless stated at http://www.adobe.com/go/activation.  However, you may not use the Software on these devices simultaneously."  [emphasis added]
So, is using the CC apps on two systems at the same time actually allowed?  Would it be possible to get a definitive answer or clarification on the previous reply here?
    Thanks so much!

  • Can I access my purchased music on multiple computers?

Whenever I buy music from the itunes music store, I want to transfer it to and from home and work. I generally make an MP3 disk because of a large playlist and so I don't have to tote/waste multiple disks, but you can't convert itunes purchses to MP3s. Is there anyway to access my purchased music through itunes from a different computer than the one I downloaded it on with my profile? Or do I just have to continue to burn audio CDs and/or email the songs to myself? thank you!
    Powerbok G4(home)/Windows ME (work)

Make a Data disk, not an MP3 disk. (iTunes prefs -> Advanced - Burning)
Click purchased music and then Burn.
It will burn the iTMS files (AAC) and you can simply take them home and Add to library.

  • Can you edit a Muse website form multiple computers?

What I want to do is be able to edit a Muse website hosted by Adobe on my work computer, then go home, pull it up on my laptop and edit it. Is this possible? If so is it simple and effective? Thanks,
    Christian

What we do is put the latest copy of the muse file in the in the root level of the hosting site. Who ever is working on the site uses their own copy of Muse from whatever location they are in and download the Muse file. When they are done they upload their edited copy of the Muse file and or replace the current file.
Our sites are very simple, pictures of drilling rig stuff mostly and a few child like graphs of of data results and muse is easy to use once they are template for the client. The price of paying for multiple seats of Muse "cheap" at twice the price.
Our disappointment lies with lack of CC file sync, demonstrating CC file sync to a client and then having the rug pulled out from under our feet and having to come up with a quick work around was disappointing to say the least. This made us look very bad with the client and has set the tone of our clients level of confidence in us.
The software is fantastic and well behaved, great interface and reliable. Do not trust the file server file sync features they are not there and what little is there, is not reliable at this time. The company is closed lip about when and how this "promised" feature of their cloud will be ready and continues marketing as if is there.
Hope this "honest" hands on, experienced, perspective helps

Yes, this has been allowed with Adobe applications going back many years.  A program such as Photoshop can legally be installed and activated on two computers at a time for the use of the single licensed user.  You can't install legally on your own and a friend's computer for use by the two different people.  Prior to Creative Cloud, there was an unwritten limit on how many times a given application could be activated, but there is no longer such a limit under CC.  That means you could theoretically install on three or four computers, activating only two at a time, and then deactivating one or both before activating on another computer.
