Can you add folders to your e-mail on a driod turbo?

I have  Driod turbo, and I have issues with getting my e-mail set up to mirror what I have for same on my PC (I cannot get the folders I have set up on the PC, to show on my phone e-mail)_.

Most mobile e-mail programs do not provide the full line of e-mail services that your computer program will. There are some better e-mail helper apps you can get from the Play Store, but even then they will not be the quality of your computer e-mail program. I'm not a heavy phone e-mail user but their are many on this forum who are and I'm sure will be chiming in with what you need.

  • Can you add folders to your email accounts?  How?

I read somewhere that folders can now be added to Mail with iOS5.  If that is true can someone help me do that?  Thank you.

Adding folders to POP accounts is a limitation of them being POP accounts.
And these are user-to-user forums, they are not monitored by Apple (there are too many forums/threads/messages for that to happen). If you want to leave feedback for Apple then you can do so here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

  • Can you add folders to iPhone mail accounts?

I figured this out with my .Mac account but can't seem to get it to work with my other POP accounts. Anyone has any success with this?

You cannot add folders on the iPhone at this time.
The reason you can add folders to your .Mac account is because .Mac utilizes IMAP, and IMAP supports server-side folders (which are what you're adding). The iPhone itself does not have any folders on it, and doesn't allow folders at this point (outside of whatever directory structure already exists for the system and apps).
POP does not support this functionality. If possible, I would recommend switching your other account to IMAP on your computer. I
f not, a solution I provided for my father on his iPhone was to make his .Mac account all-inclusive, and simply forward his other accounts to it I realize this is not ideal for all users (such as myself), but something worth at least bringing up.

  • Can you add GHz to your MAC PRO??????

I want to buy an 8Core MAC PRO which consists of Two 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors
Can you add a third Processor?? because with video editing Two 3.2 Ghz is not as much as one might think.. You can buy PCs with Four 3.0 Ghz for 1,000.00 less

So is two 3.2 Ghz going to be fast enough for editing?? I am doing a lot of chroma keying right now I have an imac 2.66 ghz and I am having to downsize all of my footage from my XH-A1 because it takes so long to render when it is in 108060i. So.. yeah just wondering if maybe someone could give me some pointers as far as what to buy right now like i said i am doing a lot of green screening and I want to be outputing with the full resolution of my xh-a1 without having to convert to 720
Sorry if none of this makes sense. -Nick

  • Can you add items to your iPad from your iTunes library through home sharing?

Sorry I'm a novice to this.
Say I have a video in my iTunes library and I would like to add it to my iPad so I can watch it when I'm not at home without hooking the iPad up to my PC and syncing.
Can I do this through home sharing?
    Thanks

Sorry, I miss-typed in my previous post. I meant to say you can't use homesharing to transfer content. (dictation got it wrong, but I should have checked). In order to transfer content from your iTunes library to your iPad, you would need to connect it to your computer via USB or Wi-Fi if you have Wi-Fi syncing enabled.
To enable Wi-Fi syncing you must first connect your iPad to your computer with the USB cable and then turn Wi-Fi syncing on in the settings within iTunes.

  • HT1146 Can you add defferent adresses ( from a mail) to your contact at once?

    Hello
I receive a mail adressed to more than 100 people.
I would like to add these adresses to my contacts.
Apparently i can only do this one adress at the time.
Is there a possibility to add all the adresses at once?
    thanks

there is no built-in way to do this. the only way i know is by using Mail Scripts
    http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html
it has a script "Add addresses" that does just what you want.

How can you add an image in Mail without being an attachment?
In otherwords I'd like to put my logo in the email not as an attachment but as an image.
Is there a simpel solution to this problem?

    You don't.
It's not possible. The e-mail protocol is designed for text; anything else has to go as an attachment.
Different mail clients (such as Mail.app, the mail client bundled with Mac OS X) may have different ways of handling such attachments, but they are still attachments. Each mail client has its own rules and methods, so one may display a picture as if it were in the body of the message, but another client may do something completely different.
A way of faking it is to format your message in HTML (which is a kind of text). The image is hosted on a remote server, not added to the message; instead, you include a link to it in the body of the message, as you would when building a web page. (This is also what the two tips helpfully provided by X423424X do, except that the link to the image is added in the signature, rather than the body of the message.) What exactly happens to it is, again, at the discretion of the mail client. In my case, for instance, displaying images in HTML messages is turned off, and will stay resolutely off.

  • Can you add cut copy and paste icons to mail toolbar?

Can you add a cut, copy and paste icons to the mail toolbar in macmail?

I guess that these were considered such fundamental operations, each with an already existing variety of operations (mouse, keyboard, right-click, ctrl+c etc) that the Thunderbird devs didn't choose to replicate them again. Similarly, keyboard selection is relied upon a great deal in Thunderbird, rather than adding all the ugly (IMHO) checkboxes that now counterintuitively litter all Windows Explorer displays.
So, if the devs expected you to use ctrl+right+shift to select the current text word by word, then ctrl+c to copy it, ctrl+x to cut it and ctrl+v to paste it would be quite natural, since your hands are already at the keyboard. Similarly, if you prefer to select by mouse, a right-click also offers options to copy, cut and paste, and there is also the possibility to drag selected text, serving cut and paste in one action. So it could be argued that there is no need for buttons.
There used to be additional button add-ons for Thunderbird, but those that I know about don't appear to be under active maintenance and don't currently work with TB 31.0.
You could build your own using a Custom Buttons add-on, but it isn't easy to find the appropriate function call to attach to your home-made buttons. :-(
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/custom-buttons/
Here's the code you need if you try this add-on:
    cut: goDoCommand("cmd_cut")
    copy: goDoCommand("cmd_copy")
    paste: goDoCommand("cmd_paste")
    (taken from: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Keyconfig_extension:_Thunderbird )
The tedious bit is finding suitable icons; the defaults are pretty but unhelpful coloured stars.

  • Can you add the entire content of your desktop to the allowable locations in flash player?

can you add the entire content of desktop to the allowable locations in flash player?  when i click 'add' to allowable locations and type in file:///C:/Documents and Settings under website (i know it's not the website but where else would it be added) it doesn't show up in the overall list of allowable 'sites'.

    Hi radwh,
Are you talking about trying to add your desktop to Flash Player's trusted locations? If so, you use the "Advanced" tab on the Local Settings Manager to designate folders and files as trusted. (Full path is Advanced->Developer Tools->Trusted Location Settings.) Here's a link to the documentation for that: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlayer/LSM/WS6aa5ec234ff3f285139dc56112e3786b68c-7ff0.htm l .
Hope this helps, and get back to me with further details if this is not what you were asking.
    Thanks,

Can you add an external DVR if your using a Verizon box without the DVR built in?
Or you can only add an external DVR ir you Verizon box has the DVR build in?
    Thanks

You can connect an external DVR to the verizon equipment, but it will be limited as far as what it can do. You will not have the full functionality as you would by using a Verizon DVR. To get more information as far as what will and will not work, please contact the tech support group of the external DVR company.

WAV as originally developed does not support embedded artwork. It is also very limited even for simple text based meta-data. AIFF also as originally developed (by Apple) did not support embedded artwork but Apple have added the ability to do this and this works in iTunes for Mac and Windows. Some other applications can also read such embedded artwork in AIFF files but not WMP.
If your looking for a lossess file format to use that supports embedded artwork for iTunes, then I suggest using Apple Lossless which uses the MP4 file format and MPEG4 meta-tags, these are the same as used by AAC.
It is possible to use Apple Lossless files in WMP and Windows Media Center, but not alas to read the embedded artwork in WMP. I use embedded artwork in Apple Lossless for iTunes and iPod and iPhone, and then use a folder.jpg for WMP.
Note: I have all my music in Apple Lossless playing fine in WMP.
