You can try the last four digits of your mobile number if you have not set up a password. Customer Service CANNOT reset that password for you. We do not have remote access to your personal information on your phone including passwords. I don't see why type of phone you have. The best thing to do would be a master reset. Search our support page for "Master reset" for your device type.

How can you transfer photos from phone to phone

If you are trying to get all the photos from an old phone to your new phone, you could sync the old phone which would create a backup containing your Camera Roll. Then connect the new phone and follow the prompts to register and name your new phone. You will then be given the choice of restoring data to your new phone from a backup of the old phone. This will replace any existing data on the new phone with the data from the backup so it's really the best option if the other phone is new.
Another option would be to connect the phone to your computer and import your photos to iPhoto or the My Pictures folder. Then you could sync the other phone and under the Photos tab in iTunes you could choose the folders/albums of pictures you want on the phone. They will not be in the Camera Roll, but they will be on the phone.

when i had a blackberry you could set it to "phone calls only" in one simple step, so while you were sleeping you didn't get bothered by emails and texts, but still would hear the phone ring for emergencies. can you set this easily on iphone with out having to uncheck all notifications etc?

But you can set things up so they are less annoying.
Find a silent ringtone on the Internet. Install it on your phone.
Create a contact for the number. Give that contact the silent ringtone, and set vibrate to none.
Set the texting entries in the contact to none and none for sound and vibrate as well
now if they call or text you will not hear them. You will only know if you are looking at the phone and it lights up when they call, and you will have a missed call notice. You just ignore them. But it does not wake you up, or make you stop what you are doing to answer the call

Can you sort by "checked"?

Is there anyway that I can sort my music library so that all my currently checked songs are together? It's getting annoying how I have to manually scroll through the list and highlight checked songs if I want to update the EQ settings, or confirm if such and such song/podcast/whatever is checked.

You can create a smart playlist of checked and unchecked songs. I did this to keep track of what songs are updated to my iPod and what isn't.
To create a smart playlist for checked songs, goto File and hit "New Smart Playlist". check "Match following rule" select "artist" "Does Not Contain" then type "123456". Uncheck "Limit To" then check both "Match only checked songs" and "Live Updating" Hit OK and then you can name the playlist Checked or checked songs whatever you wish
To create a Unchecked playlist (Only after creating your checked playlist) Select new smart playlist, Checked "Match following rule" select "Playlist" "Is Not" "Checked (Or whatever you named your checked playlist)". Uncheck the box next to both "Limit To" and "Match only checked songs" then put a check beside "Live updateing"
With this set up you will now have both sorted, and since there Live Updated, If your in the checked playlist and uncheck a song, its removed from the playlist and added to the unchecked playlist. If your in the unchecked playlist and check a song the reverse happens

My old phone got water damage and I'm about to restore a new iphone and I'm not sure if i should restore with my itunes or my icloud but also, I'm not really sure if i had icloud so i was wondering if anyone knows a way to find that out?

Just check the date of the latest backup before choosing where to restore from. You can see the date of the latest iCloud backup from Settings on the iPhone, like the article shows, and you can see the iTunes backup in Preferences > Devices.

Can you transfer contacts etc between phones on pc...

I loaded pc suite yesterday and synced my phone as it was faulty and being replaced. I have got new phone (same model) but pc suite recognises it as different phone so I seem to have lost all my contacts, messages etc. Is there anyway I can retrieve them, I have to have my contacts at least. The phone is a 6500s if that makes any difference.

We would like users to be able to view Room calendars side by side in Outlook. Its fine if they can see basic details (subject, organizer), but we don't want them able open and read the meeting body.
Is it possible to have a side by side view without granting "Read - Full Details"?

Hi David,
In Outlook 2007, "Free/Busy time, subject, location" permission only applies when checking the user's free/busy information and not when looking in another user's Calendar folder. In Outlook 2007, if you want to let the calendars be shown side
by side, you need to grant the user Folder Visible permission. But in this way, the user can read meeting details.

My new IPhone 5s has been stolen and I've activated it on Find my phone, it's still not been recovered!
However I need a phone, so I want to use my old Iphone 4 but will this overwrite the phone thats been stolen on find my phone

If you are simply referring to syncing iTunes content (music, videos, etc...) then, as stated by roaminggnome and Niel, there is no issue.

JFileChooser, how can you allow the user to select MORE than 1 file?

Hello everyone.
I want to allow the user to select multiple files from a directory, not just 1, but not just the whole directory.
Currently I see these 2 options from looking at the sun's JFileChooser demo:

I have an iPhone 4 and an iPad. Today I received an iPhone 5. However, I don't have a PC at the moment. Do I need toward until my PC is fixed before I can start using my iPhone 5 or can I transfer all my data using my iPad? I use the iCloud if this helps?

Actually Ocean20's post is not correct. You can backup your iPhone 4 or iPad to iCloud, restore your data to your new iPhone 5, then re-download all of your purchased iTunes content to your new iPhone 5. No computer needed.
