Can you burn discs with the HP Pavilion H8-1224?

I tried telling the Geek Squad that my bottom silver button on the expansion bay won't workon my HP Pavilion H8-1224 & I can no longer burn discs. They said the button does not open anything but it used to. Am I losing my marbles?

It ONLY has one Optical drive. I don't know how you could open the second button.

CC is for retail use with 20 GB of storage space, CCT is where number of seats are purchased & assigned by one program admin where each seat gets 100GB of storage space.
You can not have both the CC & team in one account as it will only provide you added storage space of 120 GB but you can activate the CC any of them or either of them twice as CC is based on Adobe ID.

I have the Diablo III install DVD - it's both Mac & PC install.
But warning - many players (on a PC board) dislike the game & stopped playing it already...
I played thru all the chars on 'normal' and started playing the 2nd difficulty, but running away (=being chased) by enemies is NOT my style of playing a game...
Check some youTube videos & see if that's what you want to do...
The ratio of hit points (HP) for enemies is:
1. normal - 20 HP
2.nightmare - 6000 HP
3.**** - 150 000 HP
4.inferno - 1 000 000 HP
This is for the same enemy...
(I have the Diablo 3 walkthru guide).

Yes, our domain and email accounts are on a server that does accept IMAP. Also, our mac mini and imacs are all set up for IMAP. Buying an ipad will enable me to work from home during this winter.
Another ?: do you know if you can use text edit with the iPads mail feature? Reason being we have about 100 generic emails that all we have to do is change a few fields before sending out. Can this be integrated in without having to recreate all these messages?

Burning discs with the Finder

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!
I am not able to burn CDs in the Finder through the use of a "burn folder." Even when I have inserted a blank disc my computer tells me to "Insert a blank disc to begin."
Blank CDs do not show up on my desktop, and when I looked at the discs in Disc Utility it says that they are "read only" and have 0 capacity.
I know that the problem is not with the discs or with my drive, however, because I can burn CDs through iTunes and iPhoto. i just can't in the finder.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I was having the same problem. I changed my System Preferences > CDs & DVDs > When you insert a blank CD: and System Preferences > CDs & DVDs > When you insert a blank DVD: from "Ignore" to "Open Finder." Now the blank disc shows up on the Desktop and the clicking "Burn" actually does something productive. This sounds like a bug in OS X to me.

When attempting to burn a collection of files from a burn folder to a writeable CD, the drive loads the CD when inserted, the CD image appears over the burn folder image normally, but nothing further happens. When attempting to eject the CD using the eject button or right-click and choosing eject, I get a message stating "You can't burn a disc using "Disc Name" because it's locked." I can unlock the disc by using Get Info and unchecking the box for "locked". However, this only allows me to eject the disc, I am still unable to burn the disc. Not sure this is related, however, after Facebook went down for about 20 min, soon after so did my Gmail (6) , 1 iCloud account(s). It's been hit and miss on downloading my email, however if I went to the websites I finally was able to get email. I then tried to see if my settings were correct and it appears all my passwords looked shorter than they really are. I reenter that information and voila, it's working again. Not a clue why those issues would have triggered my settings, however I know others have been complaining as well.

I have a question concerning the SDK. In a project, we want to automate some Editing-Functions and the "Premiere_SDK_Guide.pdf" leaves some questions:
1) Is it possible to write a plugin, that read pathes from ressources (for example Images and Audio from an XML-file) and put these at specific places on the timeline?
2) With video- and audio-transitions?
Even if the above is not possible, than can you automatically:
3) Set Chapter-Markers?
4) Export to Encore or directly as a DVD?

1) For this I would recommend you generate an FCP XML, which can be imported into Premiere Pro. The SDK doesn't provide control over project items.

3) Markers in the FCP XML can't currently be imported directly as Encore Chapter markers, but once the markers are brought in, it is fairly simply to switch them from regular markers to Encore Chapter markers. Bringing them in directly as Encore Chapter markers could be a good feature request, if you decide to use the FCP XML route - http://www.adobe.com/go/wish
4) Triggering an Export to Encore is not something a plug-in or external application can do. But by generating the FCP XML in advance, that should save a ton of time with the editing up front.

No. You could have only tracked the device via the FindMyIPod serviced which would have needed to be set up before the iPod was lost.

Can you see a red light glowing in the headphone jack? If so, an out-of-spec plug has jammed the jack in the "mute" position. The specs for the digital jack is tighter than those for analog plugs.
If the red light is apparent, insert a headphone or speaker plug in the jack and GENTLY wiggle the plug in the horizontal plane. That usually frees the stuck contact. It behooves you to make this work, because the "official" cure is a logic board replacement. If you are under warranty, let Apple take care of it.
In the future, put on the headphones or turn on the speakers BEFORE you insert the plug in the MBP's digital audio jack. Insert the plug only far enough to hear sound with proper stereo separation. STOP pushing at that point. It will usually be far enough to avoid the plug falling out on its own, but wil not jam the jack again. On my MBP this position leaves the stop-shoulder on the plug slightly away from touching the computer case. That's OK in this case.

Unless you enabled Find my iPod, and the iPod is online, you cannot track it.

You'll either need to have a keyboard and monitor attached so you can wake the computer with the screen closed or use one of the third-party utilities that keeps the MBP from sleeping when you close the lid such as InsomniaX.

Exactly what can you manage centrally with the Management Appliance?

So, we're thinking of getting a pair of M1070 Management Appliances to work with our cluster of C360 mail appliances (AsyncOS 7.6).
It is not completely clear (a) which things can be centrally handled, and (b) which things can be handled in a redundant manner. It is also not clear how the redundancy works - are things copied to both all the time? If the primary management appliance goes down for a while, are the missed logs copied over from the secondary when it comes back? When the primary is down, does the secondary take over a virtual IP so that users will still go to the same URL for quarantines?
Logging, reporting, and message tracking all seem to be easily done centrally, and are duplicated to the redundant.
As far as I can tell, the spam quarantine can be centralised, and it seems that it is replicated to the secondary if you have AsyncOS>7.2. I can't tell if the safelist/blocklist is replicted between the two, though, and what happens in a failover situation, although it seems it is held centrally. I've seen conflicting information about this, one saying that secondaryconfig can duplicate spam quarantines, the other saying you need to do some sleight-of-hand with content filters to duplicate messages to both management quarantines.
Is there a way to make other quarantines on the management servers? We'd like to have our policy quarantine held centrally, and redundant, so that if we lose a datacentre we can still release policy-quarantined messages. I can't tell how you can set thisup.
Finally, we currently route our emails via the cluster of C360 mail appliances. Would we continue to do this (and they send logs, quarantines etc to the management appliances), or would we have to instead route our emails via the new managment appliances, which then forward them on to the C360s?
If anyone there has successfully set up a redundant management appliance setup I'd be keen to hear the details.

I haven't set up redundant SMA's so I can't help much there... I'm reasonably sure that one acts as a backup destination for the other, but I may have that all wrong.
As far as what can be centralized, as of ESA 8.0.0 and SMA 8.1 (might still be FCS, you can request it from TAC), you can centralize Policy, Virus and Outbreak quarentines, along with the already available spam quarentine and message tracking... Set up the policies and quarentines on the ESAs, point the SMA at the two ESAs, and tell it to import the quarentines, and will bring over the data that's there and reconfig the ESA's to send the policy quarentined mail over, just like it does for the spam quarentine.
You would continue to route mail through the C360s. The M boxes don't do mail flow, other than centralizing the quarentines, and dealing with quarentine releases...
