Can you combine different icloud accounts?

CAn you combine different icloud accounts?  For some reason, my new iphone 6 keeps on popping up an old email address for icloud.

When you delete the account from your device, you will be given the opportunity to save Safari data, reminders, calendars and contacts to your device, which you can later merge with the other account once you login.
You won't be able to save your photo stream photos in the same way, so if you have any photo stream photos that are not already in your camera roll, you should move them there before you delete your account.
Your iWork documents can be saved to iTunes on your device, but if you have them on a Mac they would be much easier to save to your desktop there. You can move them back after you switch.
Notes can be shared to messages or mail and copy and pasted back after the switch. Although if you have a Mac, you may find it easier to do there. You could also use a temporary secondary account (see last item) to log into both accounts and copy and paste directly into your other account.
You can set up Mail forwarding at iCloud.com mail preferences (little gear icon-bottom left) to receive mail from your old address to your new one.
As an alternative to just switching, you might consider switching and adding your previous account back as a secondary account at settings > mail, contacts, calendars. You would still need to move your photos and iWork documents and save your safari data, but you'd have access to your old mail, contacts, calendars, reminders and notes.

3 ipad uses 1 apple id and 1icloud account, how can i make different icloud account so each ipad will have more icloud space?

All 3 iPads will have to share the same 5GB of free iCloud space. Buy more space if necessary.
Suggest you give different name to each iPad to prevent confusion.

  • HT204053 I have an iphone, ipod and ipad - can i have different icloud accounts?

My daughter has an iphone, my other one has an ipod and I have an ipad.  How can we have different icloud accounts?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Yes you can all have different iCloud accounts, indeed it is something that I would recommend.
To create a new Apple ID (account) navigate to settings >iCloud and tap the "create Apple ID" button.
Note: if you are already logged into another iCloud account, you will need to scroll down and delete that account, before you can create a new one.

    No.
You can however add other users accounts to your own as secondary account in settings > mail, contacts and calendars.

  • Can you setup 2 iCloud accounts on 1 ipad?

Can you setup 2 iCloud accounts on 1 ipad (my wife and I share the 1 ipad)?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Yes, add secondary accounts at settings > mail, contacts, calendars.
Secondary accounts can't use photostream or document syncing.

  • HT204053 Can you have 2 iCloud accounts

Can you have 2 iCloud accounts??  If yes how??

I assume these are on the same device.
Using 2 iCloud accounts will mean that only one of them can use photo stream or document and data syncing, you need to decide which one this is (perhaps you only want mail, contacts, reminders, calendars and notes for business). I refer to the one with photo stream and document syncing as the primary account.
Each device can have only one primary account but multiple secondary accounts. You can choose to use only the services you wish to with each type of account.
Secondary accounts are added at settings > mail, contacts, calendars. If you don't already have one, you can create a second Apple ID there.

  • Can you have 2 iCloud accounts on one device, i would like to share photo stream with my wife but not calendar, contacts

How do you setup 2 icloud accounts on one phone.  I would like to do that to separate contacts/calendars from photo stream.  I have a shared photo library that i would like to be able to access from each phone.  How do you do it?
    Thanks.

I don't think there is a method cause when you have 2 iCloud account you double the memory given by them (5gb) and if you want more memory you have to pay so I don't think apple might have a loop in that :p bu if you want to share pics then you can always use luthoot enabled apps

  • Can you open an iCloud account without creating a new or using an old AppleID?

Got a new iPhone and had to skip the part of establishing an icloud account till later, cause I was having internet trouble, so it asked me to continue and go back later, then I saw that as I went into icloud in settings later that it is asking for me to creat another Apple ID if I want to set up an icloud account or use one I have for me? Very confusing and not very user friendly.  What options do I have?  Must I have an a new Apple ID to open an icloud account. I already have an iTunes account that is associated with my iphone and my mac and my AppleID.
My daughter is the one I want to set up an icloud account for so she can back up to it and to use the other features, but I dont want her items to be backed up on my icloud account. The issue is that I don't want her to be able to have her own iTunes account to make purchases, as she is too young, I will need to monitor them for a couple of years yet. I am not sure what to make up of the set up process. The set up instructions are telling me that for that phone to get a new icloud account, I must create a new Apple ID for it or use an existing one. The problem with creating a new one, is she will then be able to set up her own iTunes and appstore accounts and make her own unsupervised purchase I believe?
Presently as its setup now using her old iPod touch and now new iPhone, I create her a playlist in my iTunes account and we then sync her ipod touch or phone to it and she can then get those features and apps, photos that we assign to just her phone.
What is my best option for this situation or do I even have any? I didn't understand the supports page steps in getting an iCloud account and using it in my scenario. it states:
Using the same Apple ID for Store purchases and iCloud is recommended for most users. To use the same Apple ID, follow these steps:  iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:   When you first set up your device running iOS 5 or later, enter the Apple ID you use for iTunes in the setup screens. It will be used for Store purchases and iCloud.  If you skipped the setup process, enter your Apple ID in Settings > iCloud and Settings > iTunes and App Stores.iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:   or  You can use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Store purchases and still get all of the benefits of iCloud. Just follow these steps:  iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
When you first set up your device with iOS 5 or later, enter the Apple ID you want to use with iCloud. If you skipped the setup assistant, sign in to Settings > iCloud and enter the Apple ID you’d like to use with iCloud. In Settings > iTunes and App Stores, sign in with the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match). You may need to sign out first to change the Apple ID.  So must I now create a new Apple ID or can I just set up an iCloud account without any AppleID associated with her phone. And if I need a new AppleID, do I need to link it to a credit card?

go to the store and get an iTunes gift card.
you can create an account using that instead of a credit card.

  • Can you delete an iCloud account but then make a new account with the same password?

Me and my mum share the same iCloud account with her email address, but I can't make my own unless I delete my mum's account that I share with her. If I delete the account, will my mum be able to make a new account with the same password?
    Thank you!

Yes.  You can use the same password for all your accounts (although it's less secure to do so).  You just have to use a different Apple ID to set up a new account.

  • Can you create a icloud account on a device.

    Hi all,
I have a family mobileme account which I'm primary on it, and each of the family members have either iphone's or ipad's associated with it, and have either macs (snow lepard or lion) or windows (xp, or win 7) computers. And since MM is going away in Feb, I'm curious can each family member create a icloud acccount there iphone's or ipad's without using there computers or not. And what happpens to the info that is stored on the devices after feb deadline if we don't create accounts for them does it  all go away?

Yes, iCloud can only be used with Lion in the mac environment, I don't know much about windows but I thought it worked with XP too but could be wrong. Yes there are no family packs with iCloud, each member of a family pack will need their own iCloud account.

the answer to my problem right here thanks to Ironboots
I went to Facetime settings and provided my current Apple Id and password then went to Icloud settings and used my current password on the old account email and it accepted it. Then proceeded to delete old account and then logged in using new account. The same password worked in both accounts. Problem solved, no more annoying pop ups urging me to log in to icloud while using my iphone.

  • How can you verify your icloud account if you entered an incorrect email account as your icloud id, and thus can't receive a verification email?

I set up an icloud account using my itunes ID as my icloud user name, and now I have a major problem. My itunes id is six years old, and it's an email address that I just found out is no longer valid (an old netscape address).  If someone tries to send an email to this old netscape address, the delivery fails. So when Apple tries to send my icloud verification message to this old netscape address, I never get the verificaton message, and thus i can't sign on to icloud.  Can anyone help?

  • Can You combine 2 iTunes accounts?

It appears I have an itunes account through Apple that I have used to purchase and download songs, and an additional AOL sign in that I've also used to purchase music and videos. I guess I've logged into both accounts never realizing, until now, that they were different. Is there any way to combine the 2 accounts so my purchase history will reflect all my activity?

    Nope, unfortunately not.

  • HT204053 can computer with different iCloud account show up on my find my iPhone

I recently purchased a macbook pro for my daughter. I would like her new computer to show up on my "find my iphone" account. She has a seperate icloud account for her computer. I was able to do it with her iphone, but not her macbook.

It's tied to the iCloud ID.  You would need to go to icloud.com and sign into her iCloud account in order to track it.  If you are using the Find My iPhone app, you would need to sign out, then sign into her iCloud account to track it.
