I have iPad2, iPhone4, iPhone3S, MacBook Air 2011 and a Macbook Pro 2010...all running on Lion OS and iOS 5. My Issue is I have two apple accounts, one on gmail and the other on mobile me. I have lots of music from both and want to combine them so my family can just use one account instead of having them both seperate. We don't use the gmail email anymore, and would like to combine them both to the mobile me apple ID if possible? Please help!

Yes, you can change the Apple ID to which your phone is tied. Delete your existing iCloud address and provide the new one. Do the same for your email.

It depends on what you want to do.
You could, for example, have one AppleID for iCloud backup [and therefore message syncing, notes syncing, etc] and a second one for iTunes [music, iBooks, etc].
But if you are looking for a way to flip everything between different appleIDs, then no.

No, in this case the 2 user accounts with its own Apple IDs would be completely seperated.
If you want to share this things like music and app purchases you will have to to something else.
1. Create two user accounts on your Mac (user A and user B).
2. Create two iCloud accounts just for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, etc. (one for user A and one for user B):
On your Mac (with Mac OS X Lion or Mountan Lion):
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > iCloud > Create an Apple ID (button in left corner)
On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (iOS 5 or later):
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > iCloud > Get a free @me.com address and create a new Apple ID

It is not recommended because you shouldn't share your Apple ID account information with other people but you could set up your old Apple ID as an account just for store purchases (Apps, Music, ...) so that everyone of you can manage the purchases in their own library (Access is limited to 10 devices). Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

I have two Apple id's. Not sure why. but one is for my iPod that was set up a long time ago and what I use for iTunes. The is for my iPhone. I want to use the itunes cloud storage so i can listen to my music on my iPhone but i'm guessing that won't work if you have two id's. Of couse they'd need to match. Can you merge two id's? I would like to simplify anyway and just have one.

So now I have a me.com applie ID and a yahoo.com email address apple ID I have a bunch of devices with all differnet ID.s and software I would just like to use my one accound because now I here the people on ME.COM are going to be [email protected] so that is three. Unfortunately, you cannot do that.
We just don't have that option here. My recommendation would be to use whichever account you prefer the most.
If you have points of concern to you on the other account, then use it.
You can adjust either account to your own preferences. So, the only difference between one and the other will be the user name and registration date that is attached to it (which cannot be changed) and the number of posts and awarded points for questions you have answered.
I wish I could give you the answer you are wanting. But, unfortunately that just is not an option.

Some time ago I discovered that I had inadvertently created two apple IDs. One that I had used many years ago as a student and then the other I created when I bought my first iPhone. These days I only use the newer account I created however I still own a few songs which were purchased on the older account back when I was a student. SO recently I logged into the older account to get those old songs that I'd purchased and download them onto my work iMac - GREAT! ...Right up until I wanted to now download some newer songs I'd recently purchased directly onto my iPhone using the new account - UH-OH! NOPE! I'm not allowed to download those songs for 90 days! Are you frickin kidding me?! They're both MY accounts! They're both linked to me - use the same details, same address, same credit card, same everything else!!! But apple won't let me download songs that I now own for 3 months onto my iMac because I happen to have two accounts. This is insanely ridiculous! I would happilly merge the two accounts if it was possible but of course there is no way to do this either. I understand that the intention is to stop people from sharing songs by linking to a friends apple ID and downloading their songs, however I am in no way trying to do this. I just want to have access to all the songs that I own on all my machines. I want to listen to songs that I have legitimately purchased on my work machine as well as on my iPhone, my iPad and my home iMac. Surely this is not too much to ask? C'mon apple!! Can't you find a way to either link/merge my two accounts or to verify that they both belong to the same person so I don't run into this problem? I don't think I should have to wait 3 months to get access to songs I have purchased!
