Can you convert a Captivate HTM or SWF file and use it in a website?

One of my clients wants to know if it's possible to use in a website content you've created in Captivate and save as an HTM or SWF file?

You cannot access your iWork documents in the cloud through a folder structure as you can on your computer.
You might want to approach your use of these documents in the cloud in a slightly different way. I tend to use iCloud for my documents "in progress", but once complete I then move them to my regular folder structure on my computer and out of the cloud. This means I have a minimum but relevant number of documents available to me when I open the appropriate app on my mobile device.

I can't answer for Internet Explorer but you should be able to export Bookmarks from FireFox. If you can't export from IE you may be able to import from EI to FireFox first.
In FireFox, menu BookMarks>Organize Bookmarks, then in the pane which opens, menu File>Export (that's how it works on Linux so Windows should be broadly similar). The result should be an html file.
You may be able to import this into Safari on your Mac; certainly you should be able to import it into FireFox and perhaps from there to Safari if necessary.

How can you convert a live RTMP stream to RTMFP and vice versa in flash?

Assume three computers: A, B, and C. A is streaming live video and audio to B through RTMP. How could that stream be converted to RTMFP and sent through B to C - while at the same time, still going to B as RTMP? How could a live stream from C be similarly sent to B as RTMFP and A as RTMP?
It doesn't matter to me whether B converts it on the client side, or whether the FMS between A and B convert it. Part of the problem is that B can get streams to and from both A and C, but A and C are effectively disconnected from each other. Another part of the problem is that A has to be able to use RTMP, not necessarily RTMFP, whereas C is guaranteed to use RTMFP. All three clients still need to be able to connect to each other in a live video chat.

you don't have to completely redo your project but you will probably need to redo large parts of it. in addition, there's no quick way of doing what you want and ensuring everything will work well unless you dig into the details of publishing for mobiles.
it looks like your swf's background is transparent. you assigned the wmode attribute in your embedding code to be transparent.

In Adobe Acrobat X, can you save a PDF to a temp file and forward the email back out?

While using Adobe Acrobat 9 with Office 2007, I have a user that was previously able to receive a PDF in Outlook, sign it, save it to the temp files, then forward the original email to a different user with my signature and changes saved within the PDF. Now that I have upgraded to Acrobat X and Office 2010, that capability is no longer available, but I can complete the aforementioned process when using Microsoft Excel.
Is there a way to do this with Adobe X and Office 2010, or was that capability removed with the upgrade to one of the 2 software packages?
The error that I get when signing a document is:
document_name.pdf
This file is set to read-only.
Try again with a different file name

My PL/SQL stored procedure creates a list of employee number and phone number records. I don't want to store them in a table. I will be passing this list from one procedure to another in my package.
I created the object type (record) and collection type (table) using this statements.

Nothing on the net. In the Net I found only where u define a normal table's column as an object type and then inserting records to it.

Better to post HTM of SWF file to intranet?

My company wants to post a Captivate project for internal use only on our intranet. My boss asked if it is better to post the HTM or SWF file and I had no idea. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi there
It sounds as though you may be confused with the output files created by Captivate.
In most cases folks want a Flash SWF file created. That file is usually loaded via the HTML page that Captivate also creates. It's sort of a house of cards. The HTML page is loaded by the browser and immediately the code looks for the standard.js file. If that file is found, it is loaded and more information is added to the HTML page. If you fail to upload the standard.js file all operation stops and things fall apart.
Once the HTML page properly loads, it then presents the SWF.
Hopefully you are seeing from this that there is no single file to upload and run. There are a few.

I am probably the stupidest person in the world... I accidently deleted my FLA file while cleaning up my computer. But I have the SWF version. Is there a way to convert my SWF to a FLA? I tried renaming but it didn't work. I really don't want to start all over-- the project took weeks!

Any defense contractor which is allowing swf files on their network should be informed that you will hardly find any piece of software,
that is less reliable and less safe than flash.
I have many swf files that I need to edit, but when I import them into flash I lose a lot of the internal animations.
Even the best decompilers will make it hard for you to modify the internal code if you`are not the programmer who originally made it.
If you have "many" swf files and only need the animation, you will it find a lot less complicated to convert them to video and use a program like AfterEffects to tailor it to your visual needs.

On your nav bar there is a shorcut to other pages.
The most effecient way I have found to do this from the phone layout,
click on the page icon shown above
type in the name of the page (and select the desktop version as indicated by the icon of the monitor)
select all on that page (CTRL A / Command A) and copy (CTRL C / Command C)
revert back to the phone layout page and paste (CTRL V / Command V)
then resize, delete what you dont need, make any other edits and your done!
There is not a way to copy a page entirely over. The mobile version should have less information and less imagery to enable fast load times.
