Can You Convert (on a Mac) Purchased ITunes to Mp3?

I have a Sansa Clip, not an IPod. Do I have to go to a PC to access and convert the ITune purchases, or can I do it from a Macbook? Thank you.

Look at how the file is decribed in the 'Kind' column. If it is a 'Purchased AAC' file you can convert it to MP3 in iTunes. If it is a 'Protected AAC' file you can't convert it to MP3 in anything.
To convert a file in iTunes first go to Preferences>General: click 'Import settings' and choose MP3 encoder, choosing the setting you want.
Then in your music library in iTunes, select the file(s) concerned and go to menu File>Create new Version>Create MP3 version (iTunes 11) or from the 'Advanced' menu choose 'Create MP3 version (earlier iTunes versions).
A copy will be placed in the Library. You can drag this to the Desktop or a folder in the Finder, and then delete the copy in iTunes.

2nd > I purchased 21 new tunes yesterday on the new computer> worked great> but when I made a disc to transfer the playlist. I get the music but no album info just 1,2,3,etc. So I have signup both computers to share thinking that would work. But no to that also.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,

Can you convert euro iTunes voucher to sterling can anyone help me thanks

All iTunes cards/certificates are country-specific, so they can only be used in the country in which they were issued on accounts based in that country. If the card came from a different country then do you know anybody in that country that you could give or sell it to ?

  • Can you convert a favourites file from windows to a bookmark file for mac?

can you convert a favourites file from windows to a bookmark file for mac?

I can't answer for Internet Explorer but you should be able to export Bookmarks from FireFox. If you can't export from IE you may be able to import from EI to FireFox first.
In FireFox, menu BookMarks>Organize Bookmarks, then in the pane which opens, menu File>Export (that's how it works on Linux so Windows should be broadly similar). The result should be an html file.
You may be able to import this into Safari on your Mac; certainly you should be able to import it into FireFox and perhaps from there to Safari if necessary.

  • Can you convert Purchase Requisition into Purchase Orders on APO.

    Hello all,
Can you convert Purchase Requisition into Purchase Orders on APO. Does Standard APO functionality provides you the capability.
    Regards
    Najam

APO is meant only for Planning and no execution is done. Execution is done only in R/3. You can set the conversion indicator for the conversion of Preqs to POs however the conversion happens only in R/3. Based on the Publication settings and the transfer settings maintained you can publish the Preqs immediately to R/3 and get it converted to POs

Can you convert your text messages from your phone to your computer?

Text messages are included with your iPhone's backup, which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. There are utilities such as this one that provide for extracting this and other data from your iPhone's backup for access on your computer for reading, printing, archiving, etc.

Can you connect iPad to Mac mini, Can you connect iPad to Mac mini?

Every Mac Mini has a USB port. Every Mac Mini can run iTunes. The only catch is that you need to be running Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) or later. So in general, yes, an iPad can connect to a Mac Mini.

Can you convert MS word to pages?

I see you just list an iPad, but you've posted in the Pages for Mac forum, so I'm going to assume you are asking about Pages on a Mac. Pages can open most Word documents (probably Word 97 or later). The conversion most likely won't be perfect, so be prepared for some differences.

Why can you not resolve an app purchase  problem simply ! As you have done in the past

Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here.
If you have a problem with an app that the developer can't/won't help you with then you will need to contact iTunes Support, either as described on the page that you posted from, or via the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem

  • Can you convert a Widows media player song to IPOD?

can you convert and widows media player to and itunes mp3 song?? for example i have songs on windows media player that i want to put on my ipod once its fixed, but how can i? i usualy just have to wait untill i have enough songs to burn on to a cd then put it onto itunes that way

Aoneil, if it's an unprotected mp3 file...no problem. iTunes will recognize the file when you import it into iTunes. Now...if the file is a protected WMA file, that's a little different. You'll have to burn the protected songs on to a CD-R or CD-RW disc and then re-download them into your computer. They will then show up as a unprotected mp3 file which you can import into iTunes. If you have them, I'd use a CD-RW disc to do your burning. You can re-use the disc for future burnings.
    Good Luck!
    Jeff
