Can you create folders/menues in the playlist menu?

Was wondering if it's possible to created menus/folders (not sure that the correct lingo is) in the playlist menu in your iPod. I know you can do this on the iTunes program on your PC but it would be really helpful if it was possible to do this on the iPod itself.
For example:
From the main menu click on Music then Playlist and instead of having a list of playlists, have additional folders like say 80's and click in that and have are your different 80s playlist in that folder.
Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can create a playlist on the go. Just browse through your Artists, Songs, or Albums, and when you get to the one that you want to create a playlist for, just hold down the center button until the title of the song flashes quickly twice.
Once you are done creating your playlist, you can go to iPod > Music > Playlists >On The Go > and click play!
Hope this helps,
Cory

  • Can you create folders on an iPad2?

How/can you create an empty folder on an iPad2?

You can't create an empty folder, an app folder has to have at least one app in it (and if you delete or move all apps from a folder then the folder will be automatically deleted) -  from the manual :
Create a folder: Touch and hold an icon until the Home screen icons begin to jiggle, then drag the icon onto another icon. iPad creates a new folder that includes the two icons, and shows the folder’s name. You can tap the name field to enter a different name.
Create a folder using iTunes: With iPad connected to your computer, select iPad in the Devices list in iTunes. Click Apps at the top of the screen, and on the Home screen near the top of the window, drag an app onto another.
Add an icon to a folder     While arranging icons, drag the icon onto the folder.
Remove an icon from a folder     While arranging icons, tap to open the folder, then drag the icon out of the folder.
Open a folder          Tap the folder. You can then tap an app icon to open that app.
Close a folder         Tap outside the folder, or press the Home button.
Delete a folder        Remove all icons from the folder. The folder is deleted automatically when empty.
Rename a folder     While arranging icons, tap to open the folder, then tap the name at the top and use the keyboard to enter a new name. Press the Home button to save your changes.

  • Can you create folders in icloud docs ?

I would like to use icloud to store my documents etc. Like many people i have many documents stored in folders. It seems like my icloud store cannot create folders ? Is that correct.

On your device, just create the folder in the same way as you do with apps, i.e. drag one file icon on top of the other to create a folder, and name it whatever you like.
It can't be done from iCloud.com.

  • Can you have anything play before the DVD Menu using Premiere Elements 9?

    Hi,
I'm new to this and creating a DVD with photos and video from my sister's wedding.  Does anyone know if you can have anything play before the DVD Menu appears?
    Thanks,
    Angie

Many of us use DVD Architect Studio as a supplement to Premiere Elements, because it's such a powerful DVD authoring app and it only costs $39 when yo download from Sony Creative Software.
I've written a book on DVD Architect Studio 4.5 -- and my new book for DVD Architect Studio 5 will be available on Amazon.com at the end of this month.
And, yes, it absolutely shows you how to add a video clip before your menus!

  • Can you create a datamerge to the pasteboard?

Using InDesign CS5 is there anyway you can create a datamerge to the pasteboard?
I want to place the docket number in the bleed section for newspaper ad series. When I try to create a merged document, I am notified that there are no placeholders present even though I have added one into the pasteboard.
    Does anyone have any solutions?

When you set up the placeholder, set the text to go to the bottom of the text box, and stretch the text box so that it touches the print area of the page.

  • Can you create an assertion inside the current UI map you have already created and how?

    Hi all
I have been following the best practice guideline of creating multiple UI maps. The problem is now when using the Code UI builder to create Assertions for my test methods, as soon as you create an assertion it creates and places it into a default UI map.
I want it inside the UI map I created for that particular test. I could copy the code out of the designer into the UI map I have for the test but I fear this will create problems now and further down the line or not work.
Is there a process for this?
    Cheers
    Rob

Use the context (right-click) menu in solution explorer on the UI Map (ie on the ".uitest" file) where you want the assertions, then select "Edit with Coded UI test builder".
When using multiple UI maps DO NOT right click in the source files and select the "Generate code for Coded UI test". If you do then, as you have found, the code will be added to the default "UImap.uitest" file, creating one if needed
and with no warning that it is doing so. (See also

  • Can you create a backup of the app tabs for future importing?

I'd like to be able to save a backup file of my app tabs, kind of like how you can with the Bookmarks. This way in the event I lose them, or reformat the computer, not only can I restore my bookmarks, but I would be able to restore my app tabs too.
    Thanks!
    Andy

App tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder]

  • Can you create folders and put similar apps in the folders?

It would help me keep them in order.

Sure you can. Tap and hold down on any app icon until all of the icons "jiggle". Then drag one icon on top of another icon and a folder will automatically be created. You can name the folder as you see fit, but the iPad will give it a name on its own, based on the type of apps that you first create the folder with.
When you are done - tap anywhere on the screen - other than in the folder itself - and then tap the home button and the apps will stop jiggling. You can put up to 20 apps into a folder.

  • Can you create a custom dvd menu with Premiere Elements 12?

I am giving this software a trial before deciding whether to buy. Is it possible to create your own custom DVD menu? I understand that you can "download" a template and customize it to some extent. But the customizing does not seem to allow you to delete or add elements, like graphics or menu buttons. I want to be able to delete graphics/menu buttons I don't want, as well as add or subtract buttons as I need for each project. Or, I would like to create a menu from scratch.
Is either method possible in Premiere Elements? Thank you for any assistance.

    Kanten
    Thanks for the reply.
You can go with a one main menu set up and use main menu buttons. But, note that there are typically far less buttons on the main menu than on the scene menu. One maneuver is to switch the main menu with the scene menu to gain a buttons per page advantage. That is done by reversing the file names of the main menu .psd and scene menu .psd.
At the editing of the .psd level, there is also the choice to add more buttons per page to a scene menu and create text or thumbnail scene buttons.
One of the principles to keep in mind...no one movie in a multi movie Timeline can have its own Scene Menu page.
Of concern....you should have more flexibility than
In any case, I have discovered that I can edit the templates and then bring them into my project. So long as I save them as the same name, Adobe Premiere Elements doesn't realize that anything has changed.
Are you following any one of my blog posts. If so, please let me know which one so I can focus in where you may be overlooking some detail. It is best to work with copies of the original and place them in appropriate folders in the directory structure. In doing that I give the user created menu a new name to distinguish it from the original.
And, in versions 11 and 12,  I do not like to save user modified menus in the Online Folder. I prefer the location where the disc menu installed with the program is located. See blog posts.
If your customization does not require the opening of Layer Sets in the Layers Palette of the .psd file (happens under certain plans), Photoshop Elements can do the .psd edit job for you, and you do not have to go to Photoshop CS or higher. There are Photoshop actions that might be used in Photoshop Elements to open Photoshop Layer Sets (as found in the disc menu .psd files), but I will not get into that right now.
Please review and consider. And, then we can go into more details.
    Thanks.

  • How can you create a spry menu bar with no background colour?

How can you create the first level of a spry menu bar to have no colour? I have a coloured background right now and the colour matches when you load the site in Internet explorer but does not match in Firefox. Any suggestions are welcomed on how to fix this.
    Thanks!

I am learning with code, (obviously) so any feedback would be nice. I use dreamweaver CS4, but when I originally designed the site it was in a much older version of dreamweaver. I wonder if that could also be a cause. (besides human error)
    Thanks again,

  • How can you create a playlist with music and music video and play those from same playlist through Apple TV?

How can you create a playlist on Ipod touch with music and music video,  and play those from same playlist through Apple TV?  I can download, create a playlist with both music and music video, stream that through the Apple TV with no problem.  The sound and the information show up on the TV, but when it gets to a music video, it only shows the information and "artwork".
I also have a video playlist - videos play fine through the Apple TV, but will not shuffle through all videos - continues to repeat the same one.  I have most definitely selected shuffle in both locations - from the playlist and on the ipod video screen while video is playing.

I finally got it... had to sync the photos with the music in iMovie, arrange the voiceover in GarageBand then export to iTunes, and then I was able to put it all together in iMovie and burn in iDVD... had a few glitches along the way but finally finished : )

  • Can I create folders in Mail in the iPad?

Can I create folders in Mail in the iPad?

If you're fortunate enough to have an ISP that also has mail via Microsoft Exchange, you can kill the original account and re-create it as an Microsoft Exchange account. That will bring whatever folders you have set up in the mail's webmail app across to your iPad.
The only downside is that you can only have one Exchange account, so if you already have one set up, you're stuck. But Frontier has my Internet business, so I was able to set up my second account via Exchange.  It's not perfect, but it works.
It's a way to get by until they figure out that POP limitation... :-)
