Can you delete all the text from one contact?

I have a BB curve 8330 from Verizon.. Lets say I text 10 people and I want to delete the texts from just one of those contacts.. Can I do a mass delete with out getting rid of all the other texts with out having to delete them one at a time?
I hope that makes sense..

two ways :
1)
home screen >> Search application
do a search by name (use menu to select the person in your Contacts)
uncheck everything except "Messages". "Messages include email, SMS, MMS (and maybe some other types)
---> you get all the messages from/to that specific person.
2)
home screen >> Contacts application
view the contact, open menu and select "View Activity"
---> you get all the messages & calls from/to that specific person.

I had a challenge importing from my outlook as it created dual entries for people I had with multiple email addresses or telephone numbers so I need to copy and paste contact info from one to antoher.

No. You would make changes to the address book on your PC and then sync via iTunes.

I am trying to delete all the music from my iPhone 5 and reinstall it. The names of some of the albums and the artists did not import correctly from my CDs. I went back into iTunes and made corrections, synced my phone and no changes were made to the music on my phone. And two of the albums (I only have albums, not individual songs) are duplicated on the phone, though they are not in my iTunes library.
I have gone into iTunes, selected the device at the top right corner, selected all the music that showed up in the window - gone to the Edit menu, selected "all" and then "delete." Depends whether you have selected Lock when Full or Wrap when Full for the Buffer Mode. If you have selected Lock When Full, the capture will stop when the the buffer is full. You can then Save the Buffer and download it in the form of sniffer file and start you capture again. This will over write the old data. If you have selected Wrap when Full, then it will continue the capture when the buffer is full. The oldest packets are discarded as new packets arrive.

I need to recover all the texts from a contact I deleted almost 2 months ago.

Basically I'm dating this girl, and we text a lot, in the order of maybe 3000 to 4000 per month. After about 2 months she got a new phone, and without thinking I deleted the old contact on my phone because I was never going to need to text that number ever again. Anyways, after a few weeks of backing up my phone automatically through iTunes she suddenly said to me, "Make sure you don't delete all those texts we had, might want to look back at them and remember all the good times we had starting out in life..."
Is there any possible way to recover any of those texts? I looked at the folder that contains all the files for the iTunes back up, I can see there are many different dates for those files, but I'm if I temporarily move the most current ones will that mean I can back up to the older set? I can see files that go back almost a year, but I dont know if this is how the backups actually work.
I have iPhone 4, completely updated, not jail broken or anything like that. Any suggestions?

The backup is encoded as a SQLite database. It can't be read without special software. All the "files" you see inside the backup file are different components of the backup, not different backup files. I believe the reason that not all the dates match the date of the backup is because the backup file components are only updated when you sync rather than recreated from scratch, so not all the components are new.
To read and extract data from the backup you have to use 3rd party software such as iPhone Backup Extractor.

The iPad runs a completely different operating system from a Windows or Mac (even though they're both made by Apple) - it's called iOS. The only apps that you can run on it are those you can purchase from the App Store (you can get free ones there as well). Some programs have both computer and iOS versions, but they are separate pieces of software.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Thanks for taking the time to respond - however your reply didn't really help as you haven't explained how to delete the compilation album that had been created.
I managed to sort it out by doing the following (I'm posting this so that it may help others). I don't know if this is the simplest/most elegant solution - but it works.
In iTunes, find the compilation (in my case, the 153 songs) and, starting with the first song, follow this procedure:
On the iPhone go to 'Songs' and scroll down the list until you find the first song that was listed in iTunes (above). You should notice (as in my case) that the song will have the correct title (and artwork too if you'd found this previously before making the compliation) but the wring artist.
Swipe LEFT and press the 'Delete' button.
Repeat with second song in iTunes list, deleting the individual songs from the iPhone, one by one.
Although tedious, this seemed to work for me. Reason for doing down the iTunes list is that it is in a pseudo-alphabetical order and I wanted to make sure I'd got every one.
Now busy re-importing the original albums from CD.
Thank you APPLE for making this such a laborious process. Why can't designers actually TEST the products they design so that they can appreciate first-hand the likely problems?

If I've understood you correctly and if you've used that exact same command It's not surprising it won't work. Perhaps you've forgotten but Cyrus is not part of 10.6 Server. It was replaced with Dovecot. I've not used 10.6 Mail Services yet so I'm not certain but I think deleting the User deletes the mailbox?
Perhaps someone who is can verify?
