Can you do a basic menu?

Is there a way to selecte the old basic theme that came with the original version. I am looking for the on that is called "Your Photo Here".
I now on 08 you can selecte "Old Themes" and then choose this menu. Is there an option like that in o6?

If you installed iDVD 6 on a computer that contained an older version of iDVD that had that theme, it should be found in iDVD 6 by asking to see all themes.

How can you create the first level of a spry menu bar to have no colour? I have a coloured background right now and the colour matches when you load the site in Internet explorer but does not match in Firefox. Any suggestions are welcomed on how to fix this.

  • Can you PREVIEW the DVD menu you're creating in FCP7 via SHARE

I can create it, but is there anyway of seeing it in a larger View then
the little thumbnail size window on the bottom right were you
    add the elements?
Can you preview it in any way, like iDVD or DVDSP, before you actually do the burn?
I realize that may be alot to ask of this new mini-built in DVD burner feature, but I just
wanted to confirm you can or you can't. Also whether you have any control over
the size of the background picture you add in there, or if you stuck with whatever the
dimensions of the original media create?
    Thanks.

    GOT IT!
Copy the BDMV folder from the AVCHD disc to the desktop.
Use HandBrake to convert the .m2ts files to H.264
Then convert the H.264 files to an editable format.
Rather convoluted process but it works.
    Anyone know a better method?

  • Can you assign a  customized menu in Java Desktop

I have a large number of users and I'm trying to customize a menu system when you click on "Launch". I need to create a menu that is unique for different users, so say group A can have one menu system and group B can have a different menu.
I've found info on adding items to a menu for all users, and for specific users one at a time if you log in as their user. In file browser, (applications-all-users:/// for all users, and just applications://// for an individual). But I have too many users which makes one at a time not feasible.
Is there any way to customize a menu setup, then assign that menu to groups instead of users? I'm running Solaris 10 with Java Desktop 3.
    Thanks for the help.

Sounds like you might want to investigate the JDS Configuration Manager, it was designed to allow different desktop configurations for different groups of users. http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/coll/1221.1?l=en&q=java+desktop+system+configuration+manager

  • Can you make a Spry Menu Bar a snippet?

Is there a way to make a Spry menu bar a snippet so you can
edit the snippet and have it updated on all pages?

The include method is good, but make sure to use root
relative links in the menu so that if you place the menu on a page
in a sub folder of your site that the links will still point to the
    correct place.
If you are using Dreamweaver, it may be possible to place the
menu into a non-editable region of a template and updates will be
made in all of the child page. Or you might be able to make it into
a Library item (again with root relative links), and then changes
to the library item will update throughout the site. With both of
these options, you'll need to upload the changed pages, so these
aren't as quick and easy as the include method that V1 Fusion
    suggests.
If you edit the Library item and the include file, you'll see
in Dreamweaver that the menus are not styled, that's because the
file that you're editing does not have the CSS file(s) linked to
it. You should be able to add a Design Time style sheet ( IN CS3:
Text -> CSS Styles -> Design-time... ) to assist you in
seeing it like what it would look in Dreamweaver without the
    library/include option.

  • Can you make a TOC menu in Captivate?

This is my ultimate goal - to create a single SWF that
includes a left-side vertical menu that includes links to each of
the slides in the presentation. I know there are 3rd-party vendors
that do this - Articulate - but I was wondering if there was a way
    to do it within Captivate.
I was able to rig something up using the "Captivate Player"
and XML, but it's cumbersome, and I need it to be easier for the
non-tech people - not to mention that I have to first break out
each slide of a 25 slide presentation.

    Hi benhenny
There are a couple of approaches you could take with this.
If your movie is relatively small, you could use the resize
function (Movie > Resize Movie) to create space for the control
links. Then you could insert buttons in the new area.
Or... you could sign up for a free Breeze account, log into
Breeze and download the Breeze plug in for PowerPoint. Create a
Breeze presentation. But doing this would basically put you into
the same position as what you described with Jesse Warden's
Captivate Player, as it would appear you need links to each slide
in the movie? You would have to create several smaller movies and
    link them.
    Your call... Rick :)

    the battery on my zen microphoto is dead;
so i plugged it in the computer.

    any suggestions?

Here's a locked menu in action.
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3563737/Lycos/Fixed.html
It's an Ad-Hoc solution, because I had the take the shaded bar at the top into account. Will fixed that later.
The bar at the top of this page and the other pages is a solution to have the bar stretch the width of the page when you resize the browser window.
It cannot be done in iWeb itself. You need a JavaScript.
So you get two solutions for the price of one.
    Here's the JavaScript :
Apparently Discussions does not accept all the JavaScript code.
So have a look at the source here :

Note that you can publish iWeb at DropBox.

  • Can you retrieve custom workspaces, menu settings, etc?

My department is getting new computers (Windows), which means we have to reinstall CS4 Design Premium. We have all set-up custom workspaces, custom keystrokes, menu preferences, etc. I'm pretty sure with Photoshop I can tell everyone how to save the brushes, actions, etc. files, but are there files that hold these other types of settings and where do they reside? We use Photoshop and InDesign almost exclusively.
Maybe I'm grasping at straws here, but I'm hoping...
    Thanks!

  • Can you change the photoshop menu color (light gray) to match the default Premiere Pro menu color?

I'm a new Adobe user, and maybe it's my OCD-edness coming out, but I can't stand how Photoshop's menu doesn't match the menu of most of the other apps in the Adobe production suite.  Encore, After Effects, Premiere Pro all have a dark gray menu by default, yet Photoshop CS 5's is light gray.  It should all match, darn it!!! LOL
Is there a way to change Photoshop's light gray menu to match the other app's darker menus?

No, there is no way to change Photoshop's UI color.
Video/film apps have a darker UI because the user should be adapated to video/film viewing environments to judge color and contrast of their images. Using a brigher UI would cause them to mis-correct their images.
Photo editing apps aim for an average of print, gallery, and video environments -- thus going closer to 50% gray. Using too dark or light a UI would cause problems in a general purpose photo editing program.

Premiere Elements offers disc menus for only
    DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc
    AVCHD on DVD disc
    or
Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc.
The only exception is the feature named webDVD which is in reality a flash file with menus. Until proven otherwise, no way to get that on the iPad 2 unless with viewing from a web browser?

  • Can you pin a horizontal menu widget to the sides of the browser so it resizes with browser width?

Any ideas how I recreate the auto re-sizing of the horizontal menu bar depending on the size of the browser using muse that I've seen on the following site that I presume wasn't developed on Muse? http://www.thechequersbath.com/
So far I've put a slideshow widget at 100% width, which creates the fixed slideshow in the background. I would love the menu to work in a similar way. Do I have to create a tablet version of it or what? Thanks for any feedback.

  • Can you explain steps in the Async and Sync scenarios JDBC to RFC.

    Hi,
Can you explain some basic steps in the Async and Sync scenarios for sending data from JDBC to RFC.
    Like,
The data is picked up from the  database table through JDBC adapter.
It is passed on to SAP  by calling the RFC. RFC gets executed
successfully. The status is returned by the RFC. The status needs to be
updated back into the SQL database table.
Is this a sync case or async case.
What si the diffrences in the sync and async scenarios in the above JDBC to RFC scenarios.

    1) Async, Outbound, Interface, to receieve the file
    2) Async, Inbound , Interface to send the file from XI
    3) Async, Absract , Interface of type File message type to recieve the message in the BPM

    5) Sync , Inbound interface for JDBC with Input message type as a JDBC Request and Output Message type as a JDBC Response
    Message Mapping:
1)Mapping between File Req to the JDBC req
    2) JDBC Response to File Response

  • In the previous version, the menu table in table options, there is an option that gives me the option: the Return key moves to next cell. I do not see this option in the new number. can you help me please?

in the previous version  of Number, the menu table in table options, there is an option that gives me the option: the Return key moves to next cell. I do not see this option in the new number. can you help me please?

    Hi silvano,
If you use a regular pattern when entering values, press enter (return) after entering the last value in a row. That will take you to the first Body Cell of the next row.
    Start in Cell B2
    1 Tab 2 Tab 3 Enter
    4 Tab 5 Tab 6 Enter
    7 Tab 8 Tab 9 Enter
Now you are ready to type into B5 .
Another way that some people find easier is to enter one column at a time
    Start at B2
    1 enter
    4 enter
    7 enter
    etc.
    Now start with C2.
Use whatever suits your work flow.
    Regards,
    Ian.

  • Can you go back to second page of your menu without going to the main page.

I have created main page (first play) and second page for the chapters.
On the second page, after selecting any chapters, I want to go back to select another chapter from
the second page, But the dvd takes me back to the main page instead of second page. Can this be
    corrected.
    Thanks

Hi - welcome to the discussions.
Yes, it can be corrected - what you've done is set the menu call and/or end jump to go to the main menu. This is completely normal, but sometimes you don't want this to happen.
If you are playing a single chapter at a time and want to get back to the chapter menu afterwards then the best thing to do is to create a story and put the single chapter inside that. Point your menu buttons to the story container (not the chapter) and it will play. Stories are a little like tracks in that they can have end jumps and menu calls of their own. Simply click on the story, then use the commands in the property inspector to set up the place to go at the end of playback or if the user presses the menu button.
You would then repeat this for every chapter that you want this to happen for.
The whole track itself then acts as a 'play all' if you need it to - the stories do not interfere with this. You can set a different end jump and menu call for the track. An alternative would be to create a final story and put ALL of your chapters into it, and point your 'Play All' menu button to this story.
Stories can also be thought of as playlists (like in iTunes) where you set up the chapters you want to play back in the order that you want them. I would avoid making these too complex, however as it has a knock on effect on the way the DVD player has to work to make a smooth playback.
The other way to achieve what you want is to use some scripting, but there is no need to do this as it sounds as if stories will do all that you need.
