Can you do online classes with an Ipad 2?

I'm thinking of getting an Ipad 2 but I was unsure on whether or not you were able to log onto your online classes and complete them anytime anywhere?  Also they have textbooks that you can read in class would you be able to read them on the ipad?

I figured if anyone else was using it for that reason to see if it was worth buying!
There are probably dozens of ways to do "online classes" over the internet, some will no doubt work with the iPad and some not.  The iPad cannot do either Flash or Java, for example.  Whether it will work with whatever it is you want to do is something you should check with the organization providing the class.

  • Can you use a mouse with an ipad air?

We recently purchased an iPad Air.  With my wife's work, sometimes she has to access a web site from home that uses adobe flash.  we discovered a browser that allows her to access that site.  Now because of the complexity of the site, she would need a keyboard and preferably a mouse.  I know that you can sync a keyboard to the iPad using bluetooth.  My question is, can you also sync a wireless mouse to the iPad?  If you can sync both the keyboard and mouse, it would greatly reduce our need for a PC laptop.  Any suggestions welcome.

You cannot use a mouse as it defeats the point of a MacBook. You can although have a keyboard for the iPad which allows word processing and simple things like typing emails. Hope this helps

  • HT204081 Can you share purchased books with other iPads?

A friend of mine wants to read a book that I have on iBook, is there any way I can share it with her iPad?

ibooks are tied to your iTunes account and the can't be lent or transferred to other accounts - so unless she has access to your iTunes account then no.

  • Can you do visual mirroring with an ipad 2 wirelessly?

Is there a way to do this wirelessly yet?
Are there particular projectors spec'd to do this?

    Possible, but not fun.
    Check it out:

Basically, you're doubling the weight of the iPad.  This is definitely a science project at this time.  I'm sure someone will come up with a much sleeker option, but if you really need it now, this is the path you're looking at.

Facebook apparently has their site coded poorly for tablets with touch screens. Try using the Facebook app. It is not perfect either but it is better than view in a browser lately.

  • HT204409 Can't determine my location with my iPad 3rd generation using Wi-Fi??

    Hi there,
Can't determine my location with my iPad 3rd generation using Wi-Fi??
I did all the common troubleshoots as reboot the device, check if it works with other devices (checked with iPad 4th generation works fine)...elc.
    Please Advice.

Wifi-only iPads do not do a good job of finding location. Their location depends on the location of the wifi router they are connected to being registered in an online database. If you wnat better location results you need an iPad with GPS (iPad wifi +3G) model.

  • HT202213 can you setup home sharing from your iPad ?

can you setup home sharing from your iPad ?

You can set Home sharing on the iPad by adding your Apple ID in the appropriate area.
    Settings->Music->Home Sharing
But you still need a computer with iTunes from which to share the library.  You can't share libraries between iDevices.

  • Can i use fitbit one with an iPad

Can I use FitBit One with my Ipad?

According to the website, It appears you can sync wirelessly to mobile devices like the iPad.
I would read the user guide for it to learn how to do it.

    Syncing to an iOS device
Your One can sync directly to supported iOS devices via Bluetooth 4.0. To see if your
iOS device is compatible with your Fitbit One, go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices.
Also iOS is a proper Operating System.  Its just different to that of a computer.

  • HT5213 Can you publish to iPhone with iBooks Author?

Can you publish to iPhone with iBooks Author?

    No, sorry.
iBooks Author creates a hybrid epub that works on iPad only.
Use Pages, InDesign, etc. to generate a standard epub that will work on both iPhone and iPad if that is your goal.
