Is it possible to downgrade from iOS 8.2 to 8.1.3 on iPhone 6? If so, how? After updating both my iPhone and iPad with iOS 8.2, I experienced several issues. The Bluetooth on my phobe is no longer workIng properly and will not sync with my car or any other Bluetooth device. The battery life for both devices has been reduced significantly. Also the update has caused glitches in several of my apps as welL. I don't plan on getting an Apple watch, so I don't need 8.2.

Downgrading isn't possible. iTunes won't install iOS versions older than the latest compatible release, and if one's somehow installed anyway, Apple's servers won't activate the device afterwards.

There is no reason to be running beta software, I doubt it will even still run as iOS 6 has been officially released. Or were you simply trying to be funny?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -

Go to the Apple store and buy a new phone, the iPhone 5 (not the 5S) and you will probably get a phone with the IOS 6 interface.
But be aware that many apps will no longer be offering updates for the older IOS. You either have to move forward and stay in the past.
IOS 7 is just a change in the look, the functionality is still there. OSes have to move on, change. Otherwise the vendor gets accused of staying in the past. I find no problem in the update except for the changes in the Calendar. I spent $5.00 and got another calendar that does more and works better. I also got a better Notes program for a few bucks. For less than the cost of a dinner meal I was able to improve my phone experience. Rather than complain, I adapted. Problem solved. -

Are there any instructions on how to downgrade my iPhone 4S from iOS 8.1.2 to iOS 7.1.2. My iPhone feels a lot slower ever since I have upgraded to iOS 8. Upgrading it each time has improved a tiny bit but I would much prefer iOS 7.1.2. I have tried to search YouTube videos on how to do it but everytime I try, it comes up with, "This device isn't eligible for the requested build." Can somebody please help me?

I added two lines on my account for my parents. They do not however use smart phones. But I got their lines with the iPhone 5 and switched it to my line. They ordered flip phones from ebay, however when the 5 came in they didn't have them available yet to I just put my iPhone 4 on the lines. Now the flip phones are in and I'm getting an error when I go to activate device. Its before I even put in the MEID number, saying can not process at this time. Is there a limit of times you can switch phones within 24 hours? And is it even possible to downgrade from smart phone to basic line?

If you have a grandfathered tier plan you should be able to drop the $30/month data plan for their specific line.
Since they ordered the phones off ebay, you will want to make sure those phones will work on VZW. If they do then switching to the flip phones should be pretty simple. you will likely have to call VZW to get everything set up. -

I purchased an ipad back in December 2012 and didn't open it till recently. When I opened it I didn't back it up and then downloaded the new ios 7 software which I'm not to fond of the look and feel. I'm not sure what ios 6 version originally came on my ipad. Is there a way to take off ios 7 and reinstall some version of ios 6 back on my iPad???

Why not do the job properly and go back to 3.1.3. Google will show about five ways of doing it. I recommend the Lifehacker method which worked a treat for me and is very straight forward for the average user.

Can you downgrade from Snow Leopard to Leopard if MacBook Pro is shipped with SNL
I have recently purchased a MBP with 10.6.8 already installed but it came with no disks and i wish to fromat to get it truley cleaned up. I have my shop bought Leopard i pruchased for my Imac and my leopard disks that came with a later MB, when i insert the leopard disk when booted it reads ok hit the install button MBP reboots but just sits with white/blue screen and nothing happens. Tried rebooting and holding C still nothing happens apart from the MBP does not boot up but hangs. Tried pressing alt at boot up and the option to choose the disk appears I select it nothing happens yet the mouse no longer moves, it just sits there. The disk is fine as i used it to reformat a friends MB 1 hour before i attempted mine.
So if the MBP came with SNL already installed can you not roll back to leopard, or is there something I'm missing.

Ok so I went ot the local Apple shop and they have stopped stocking SNL but advised i can download Lion and install and even though it didn't format i could when installed boot to the recovery partion -utilities and erase from there and then do a full install thus allowing a full format.
So erase done click install lion and it connected to the net and then sat for some time so what i'm asking is does this now have to down load the 4gb image again. I assumed it installed from the partition but will it download and install if so this could take some time as the Lion download took approx 8 hours.
Please tell me that is not the case as that is seriously flawed and left me in a dodgy position as i have erased my hdd and will have to wait till i can get a day off to run the next install.
as a foot note i was advised to copy the image and then burn so i would have a hard copy i did this would it be quicker to do it from thi disc.

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists. -

I don't see that at all. Some have reported difficulties. The one you describe means simply that the app/game maker has to update it. As soon as I updated to iOS 5 about 20 - 30 of my apps all updated immediately, some to a version that was ONLY compatible with iOS 5.
It's the maker of that game or app that you need to contact, not Apple and no, it's not possible to reverse upgrades, sorry. Try searching the forums for downgrading and you will see it isn't possible. -
