Can you explain what's different about 3.7 captive runtime?

I noticed one of the features for Android is captive runtime. Isn't that already supported? What's changed? Is it just captive runtime is enabled by default? I read somewhere where you say it's supported by more targets but what does that mean?

In AIR 3.6 you would either have had to install the AIR 3.6 runtime APK onto your device yourself, or you would have to get it from one of the Android stores. If you did neither of those things, then the app would not run.

    Sorry can you explain what is difference between cellular and cellular (MM)

    The MM or Millenium Media according to what I can find, refers to the CDMA variation of the Cellular iPad for Verizon Networks.
    The non MM version is for GSM carriers like AT&T.

  • Can you explain what exactly cdc mean in data services......?

    Hello!
    I would like to know  what exactly change data capture (cdc) mean in data services......?

    Hi sudheer kore
    CDC is basically a technical term - Change data capture. We use a few approaches to work capture changed data during ETL process. This can be called incremental approach/ delta loading of data.
    Source Based CDC
    -Using a timestamp, date, datetime, or int column to uniquely identify the next "band" of rows to be loaded into the delta process in combination with a status table, global variable, and where clauses of the query transform. This is demonstrated in the Tutorial file provided with Data Services in the CDC chapter.
    -Using the Database native CDC functionality, available in Oracle, SQL Server and I believe Attunity
    Changes are replicated to change tables in the source, marked as insert/update/delete. Data Services can natively read these tables through the use of CDC Datastore objects and Map_CDC_Operation transform.
    Target Based CDC
    -Must be used if the methods above are not available. The Table_Comparison transform is capable of comparing all source records to the target table to determine if an INSERT or UPDATE is required for that row.
    Few links that would explain this better

    Any idea why the "other" continues to increase. I have just got got my mac so no new apps installed yet only been using it for mail and web browsing. I tried the iphoto mail last night and noticed the the "other" section had increased by 1GB which I thought was rather larger. Do you know what this setion actually does ?
    Also do you know if it is possible to delete the iphoto emails.
    All of your 'stuff' that is not Music Movies Apps Backups or Photos is in Other, that means all your emails, all your files etc, why don't you just leave well enough alone, this is not windows and doesn't need tinkering with,

    Can you explain detail what is Open PR's, PO's ?
    Thank you!

    Hi,
    Purchase Orders created and yet to received the Materials from the Vendors, and or yet to do the Invoice Verfication or quality Inspection for the received goods from Vendor in all such cases you call them Open Purchase orders.
    During SAP Go-live date, we decide Cut-off dates for PR's, POs,  Prod Orders, etc
    which ever order Opened but yet to complete or in execution stage.
    <b>Basically this is Status of the Order.</b>

    All I can say is that I REALLY like my Touch 4th gen because I have all sorts of capabilities in a small form: e-mail, web browsing, news, weather, books, magazines, etc. etc.  Plus lots and lots of apps out there, including so many free ones.  I use the Cloud a lot so it's great to have everything sync'd to my MacBookPro (e-mail, Evernote, Pocket, etc.)
    It would be easier, though, to do some of this, especially magazines, on the iPad mini, but, again, I love the small size of the Touch.
    As for the 5th gen instead of the 4th, the fifth has Siri and the 3D feature in maps, which are great.  And I'm sure it's a lot faster in iOS 6 than the 4th gen.  And cool colors!
    Don't know if this helps . . .

  • Can you explain about Higher-level item category and item usage?

    Hi all
    Can you explain about Higher-level item category and item usage?
    thanks all

    Higher level item category and Item usage are used in the item category determination.
    Let me take an example of Item Category TANN (Free of charge Item)
    Item category Determination: Sales Document type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher Level Item Category
    TA + NORM + FREE + TAN = TANN
    Higher Level Item category: The category on which this item category is dependent. meaning for TAN , TANN is a free item. Therefor TAN is the higher level item category.
    Item Category Usage: It controls system response during document processing. The line item has an specific usage according to that usage it has to respond. Free for free items, text for text items etc.

  • Can you explain about actual GI ........

    Hi gurus
    Can you explain about actual GI (gods issue) date and planned GI date? Can actual GI date differ from planned GI date?
    Regards
    ipsit

    Hi Ipshit,
    Planned goods issue date is determined as a result of availability check which took place in the back ground.
    If you goto sales order and have a look at your schedule line data,then the confirmation date in the schedule line will be your planned GI date.
    Actual goods issue date is the date when you actually press the goods issue button.Your billing date in VF01 will be same as the actual goods issue date.
    Reward points if it helps.

  • Can you explain this for me?

    Hi Guys,
    I'm a novice at best here, and get great satisfaction
    tinkering and figuring things out with web sites. I have a question
    about how to program a flash page that has a main navigation menu
    on the left side of the page that stays constant while the right
    side of the screen switches pages when you click a button.
    I lifted the code from one of the navigation buttons and it
    reads as follows:
    on (rollOver) {
    gotoAndPlay("s1");
    on (releaseOutside, rollOut) {
    gotoAndPlay("s2");
    on (release) {
    if (_root.b<>2 and _root.m<>1) {
    _root.cont1.gotoAndPlay("start");
    _root.b = 2;
    I know the "on realease" command will call a separate page on
    to the screen but in order to acheive this, what do I have to do to
    fly in the separate page? What's the connection?
    Can you explain to a true novice what is happening here or
    give me a resurce to learn more about this technique?
    I really appreciate your time and knowledge.
    Thanx again

    OK your code isn't quite there. First of all look up
    'Buttons' in the Flash Help guide and learn more about them.
    'on(release)' is a 'handler' that respondes to a mouse click, it
    doesn't do anything else, other than what you tell it to. it is the
    same for 'on(rollOver)', 'on(rollOut)', and others.
    'gotoAndPlay(frame OR label)' tells the playhead to move to a
    new place in the timeline your calling, where you have placed new
    content. You can keep the 'navbar' showing by placing it on a layer
    that doesn't change throughout the timeline, and on different
    'layers' you can place keyframes and put new content in them to
    create a 'page' so to speak.
    HERE is a very
    basic example of the principle, however in this example I have
    placed the button handlers on the main timeline and you call them a
    little differently this way you say:
    my_btn.onRelease = function() {
    //...do something
    but the basic system is the same. it's generally a good idea
    to put your code on an actions layer in the timeline, instead of
    attaching it to buttons or clips, it makes it easier to reference,
    and debug.

  • Can anyone explain what the 'other' storage consists of and how I can decrease the size please?

    Can anyone explain what the 'other' storage consists of and how I can decrease the size please?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    "Other" refers to OS X files, caches, downloads, documents. See Other in this website > http://pondini.org/OSX/LionStorage.html
    I would not worry about Other because they contain files that you need, but if you want to decrease the size, start deleting downloads and documents

  • How can you tell what GB a handset is...I'm buying iphone6 second hand

    HHow can you tell what GB is in an iPhone 6 ....I'm buying second hand

    the most reliable way is to go on the phone and tap
    Settings/General/About - that will tell you the capacity (among other things)
    but remember the actual space wont be what Apple advertises - my 128 GB iPhone 6 + says it has 114 gb of space - there is formatting and the operating system to take into account
    the size is also printed on the back of the original box but unless you have the phone and get get the serial number off the phone (which is in that same location) you cant be sure the box is from the phone you are trying to buy

  • Can you explain steps in the Async and Sync scenarios JDBC to RFC.

    Hi,
    Can you explain some basic steps in the Async and Sync scenarios for sending data from JDBC to RFC.
    Like,
    The data is picked up from the  database table through JDBC adapter.
    It is passed on to SAP  by calling the RFC. RFC gets executed
    successfully. The status is returned by the RFC. The status needs to be
    updated back into the SQL database table.
    Is this a sync case or async case.
    What si the diffrences in the sync and async scenarios in the above JDBC to RFC scenarios.

  • Can anyone explain what a condition type means in pricing.

    Hi,
    Can anyone explain what a condition type means in pricing. And how to create condition type and how it effects Pricing conditions.
    As I am new to this area. Detailed explanation is highly appreciated.
    Thanks a lot,
    Rasheed

    Hello Rasheed,
    Below mentioned are the few important things related to pricing.
    - You first define Condition Tables .
    - Define Access Sequence and assign condition tables to it.
    - Define Condition Type and assign Access Sequence to it.
    - Now define Pricing Procedure and assign Condition Type to it.
    - Now you define Pricing Procedure Determination using Sales Org, Distribution    Channel ,Division,Document  Pricing Procedure and Customer Pricing Procedure which are the key fields.
    The above steps can be done in SPRO.
    -Now maintain the Condition Records(for eg:For the specific material what is the cost or for a specific customer what is the cost of the specific material etc) using Txn:VK11.
    - Once you maintain the Condition Records , you can reflect the same values in Condition Type in SPRO.
    Hope this information is helpful for you to relate Condition Type in Pricing,
    Please reward with points if this information is helpful for you.
    Regards,
    Shanthala.
