Can you export actions?

I have recorded some actions in Photoshop and placed them in my own Actions group. I know they are there because I can use them when I open Photoshop but I am unable to find them anyplace on my system (I work on a Mac but I am not sure that is important). I was wondering if there was any way to either find those Actions or to export them to a file so they could be used someplace else (I had in mind importing them into Elements. I know that they might not work there but I wanted to try). So, is there any way to either find the actions I have created or to export them to an atn file?
Thanks.

> The flyout menu in the top-right corner of the palette is your friend...
I checked that before I posted and there is nothing there that seems to help me. When I open the flyout menu I get stuff like New Action, New Set, Duplicate, Delete, Play, Start Recording, Clear All Actions, Reset Actions, Delete Actions, Replace Actions and a bunch of others, but nothing like export or save to file. Is there something I am missing here?

  • Can you export the date and user to Excel that appears into a Comments field in a tracking list?

    Hi everyone,
    Can you export the date and user to Excel that appears into a Comments field in a tracking list?
    When i export a tracking list with a Comment field in the Content type, the screen where you enter the data for an item, the Comments field just export the text of the comment into the Excel file.
    In the Comments field appears also, besides the comment text,  the user and date from who and when the comment is added.
    Is there a way to export also the user and the date?
    Thanks
    Wim

    create another comment field that doesn't use 'appending', and through SP Designer change workflow keep
    updating that field with the new comments  (prepend the field with date/username/new comment). Hide the field on all forms, but put it in the view you need to export to Excel.
    Please refer few more links: Hope they will help

  • Can you export a raw file photo with Lightroom adjustments attached?

    Can you export a raw file photo from Lightroom with Lightroom adjustments attached in some way?  If not what is the equivalent?  There are some individuals I would like to send the full data of the raw file, but with the non-destructive Lightroom adjustments layered on top.
    --Gerry

    You can select "Original" as the file type, in Export. This saves out a copy of the imported source file into the selected location, labelling the current adjustments onto that image. When this is sent to somebody and imported to LR / opened in ACR, these metadata will be found and used automatically, with the exact same outcome as within your own LR Catalog - provided the LR / ACR versions are sufficiently compatible, and provided camera and lens profiles applied to the image, are present in both contexts.
    LR uses whatever method is normal when writing metadata, for each file type involved. So, if one imported file is a proprietary Raw file, LR will write an XMP file alongside. If another is capable of having metadata written into its file header, LR will do that instead.
    One important difference between doing this, vs writing LR metadata out to your original imported file, and sending that: the Export Original method will work in the same way, just as successfully, for one or more Virtual Copy versions (duplicating physically as needed), as it will for the primary Master version - relating to a given imported file.

  • Can you export whole folders with meta data in tact

    Can you export folders or groups of photos including all the meta data eg keywords, gps etc to a new folder?
    I then could copy these to my xbox for viewing for example?
    cheers

    managed to have a bit mess, you can actually highlight an event, album, places, faces etc in the source list, the choose file > export and it does all included in that folder/album/source, rather than highlighting them individually.
    The reason for wanting to do this, is I want to be able to export to some kind of structure outside of iPhoto for my Windows PC, Xbox etc for showing, but want all the keywords, GPS, meta data on
    cheers

  • How many times can you "Export - Quicktime movie" the same ProRes 422 file until it starts to lose quality?

    Lets say you are done with your project & you want an uncompressed copy of it as your master. If you keep importing it back into Final Cut Pro, & keep exporting (Quicktime movie), will it ever start to lose quality?

    I've never seen a number given, but would think it is very high.
    Apple describes ProRes here:
    About Apple ProRes
    And in that document says:
       "while remaining visually lossless through many generations of decoding and reencoding."
    I don't think I've ever seen degradation caused by recompression or multiple compassion, but as a workflow if you output a master file, then re-import it to add graphics and export that, you would only be 1 generation down from the master file. If you wanted to make multiple versions, you can always go back to, and re-import,  the master file and make the changes, then export, so all you exports stay only 1 generation down from the master file.

  • Can you export audio tracks as AIFF? I dont get it!

    I recorded some audio narration tracks and I am trying to export just the tracks one by one into an audio editing program.
    Can you only export audio files to iTunes??????
    Is there a way to export the files as normal audio files?
    Thank you!

    Ok, will do. Thanks!!!
    So they don't let you set your own sample rates and such. That is pretty darn lame. Very limited control.

  • Can you duplicate actions?

    I've recently started creating a order form which will automatically fill in either the item description, product number, or unit price once selected either the product number or item description from the drop down box.
    I made a smaller trial version of this form and it worked perfectly however adding all the possible 'actions' for when selecting from the drop down box took a very long time. The real order form will have a lot more items to choose from therefore will take even more time, which I don't have.
    Is there a way to copy the actions I have for the first row (Product01, Description01, Unit01) for the rest of the rows in the order form, all I would need to change is the Product01 to Product02 etc etc.
    This is what my table in my order form looks like:
    Product No:
    Description
    Quantity
    Unit Price
    Total
    PN01
    Description 01
    QTY 01
    UNIT 01
    TTL 01
    PN02
    Description 02
    QTY 02
    UNIT 02
    TTL 01
    PN03
    Description 03
    QTY 03
    UNIT 03
    TTL 03
    PNO4
    Description 04
    QTY 04
    UNIT 04
    TTL 04
    Field Names
    Product No & Description are both drop down boxs
    This is the code for one of the actions:
    //- //+ GENERATED - DO NOT EDIT (ID:5F8FCFED-90F7-48DF-9CDA-91C02E1BC86F CRC:3737938537) //+ Type: Action //+ Result2: SetFieldValue("$Node3","tovalue","4.99") //+ Result1: SetFieldValue("$Node2","tovalue","Quality safety spectacles") //+ Node3: topmostSubform[0].Page1[0].UNIT_01[0] //+ Node2: topmostSubform[0].Page1[0].Description_01[0] //+ Node1: topmostSubform[0].Page1[0].PN01[0] //+ Condition1: ListField("$Node1","textselected","NB04B") //+ ActionName: PN01.change if ($.boundItem(xfa.event.newText) == "NB04B") { this.resolveNode("Description_01").rawValue = "Quality safety spectacles"; this.resolveNode("UNIT_01").rawValue = "4.99"; }
    I just used an action builder to create these actions.
    If someone could explain a way to copy these actions and apply it to each of the rows it would be a great help and very much appriciated!
    Thanks

    Is your table a set size? Can you use JavaScript on your form? Is your form dynamic?
    Ok, I'm going to guess at these things and hope this answers your questions. (I'm guessing "no", "yeah, duh!", and "yes".)
    Make sure your form is dynamic and whatever subform houses the table is able to pagebreak and is flowed.
    Create your table with one header row and one other row.
    in that other row, add your drop down list in the first column and textfields in the others.
    In the 'exit' event add the following code:
         var rowNum = this.parent.instanceManager.count - 1;
         if (!this.isNull && this.parent.instanceIndex == rowNum) this.parent.instanceManager.addInstance();
         switch(this.rawValue){
              case("PN01"):
                   this.parent.tfDescription.rawValue = "Description of PN01";
                   this.parent.tfUnitPrice = "15.00";
                   break;
              case("PN02"):
                   this.parent.tfDescription.rawValue = "Description of PN02";
                   this.parent.tfUnitPrice = "5.00";
                   break;
              case("PN03"):
                          this.parent.tfDescription.rawValue = "Description of PN03";
                          this.parent.tfUnitPrice = "25.00";
                   break;
              //etc. for each PN
    Of course, I don't know your prices, so I'm just guessing those and the variable names. Since you aren't adding product serial numbers, they should be strings. Make sure you put "quotes" around them in the case( ): lines
    This code will automatically be added to each line in the table, and the table will add rows for you automatically. It will not add rows if the client is changing his/her selection. It will also not remove a line if the user decides to remove that choice. You can add a button for that if you'd like.
