Have tried on a few occasions to set up receiving of e-mails from an ntlworld account and have been unsuccessful any one help me out?

Thanks, First I entered my name then e-mail address password and description (keith.durrington)I then 'saved' and was sent to another screen with IMAP and POP at the top, I switched from IMAP to pop and was then asked to input information from Incoming Mail Server, i.e. Host Name - ntlworld.com, user name keith.durrington (at) ntlworld (dot) com, password ... Then asked to fill in Outgoing Mail Server - Host name, I have put smtp.ntlworld.com What am I doing wrong?

@cliftonfromrichmond somethimes getting over things can occur alot of things situations. i had a friend who has been kicked out of the house for a reason, losing the apple product. it is not to get over with when it cost almost $300-$400 and don't forget everything in life is not for free. if you think i am wrong, why don't u ask a family to see how they treat their situation, if they were to lose the apple product. don't u say getting job and then go spend what ever you want. its not right! people nowadays are getting homeless due to spending and everything should be fair to the client. even though your try to save look at it this way the person needs to pay their university fees, food, clothes and all of the essential items"Get over it and move on" to me that sentence really hurts my friends feelings and myself. you think money is from a tree and you would just take. well,NO! use some common sense here. i don't want to be argressive or anything but like seriously, that is just too far, to me a youthful person would come and type that up. saying to move get over it. that is just really stupid of you to type that like seriously. i have learnt through out my experience to listen to mature adults. and it is my business due to that fact that he is living with me and this question is my FRIENDS question and i am answering his question right now!
