Can you get Photo Stream on Finder?
I want to stop using iPhoto.. and was wondering if there was a simple way to get Photo Stream on Finder in the picture folder or just as a seperate Main Folder altogether?
I want it to automatically update such as iphoto does when I take a picture using my ipad or iphone.. any ideas? Is this possible?
No. You need iPhoto to view Photo Streams on your Mac. If you create a shared photo stream with your iPhone you could access it online with Safari but not the Finder.

How can you restore photo stream photos back to Apple TV after accidentally deleting from your iPad
After accidentally deleting photo stream photos on my iPad, this deleted photo stream photos on my Apple TV. How can I restore these photos back to my Apple TV and also to my iPad? Suggestions welcomed
If you have a backup of your iPad prior to the date of deleting your photos, you can find them. Otherwise, you might be able to find them.
If you do have this backup, then you'll have to restore your iPad to that point.
If you had a Mac with iPhoto, then when you connected your iPad, iPhoto would store the photos separately from Photostream.
I despise Photostream. It's turned off everywhere on my system. It is one of the most useless pieces of junk that Apple has foisted on my Mac and iOS. But hey, that's just my opinion. -
Can you get photos on the iphone 5 that's were deleted back
I had a nephew just delete pictures from my camera roll need help finding a way I'd there is one to get them back
If you were using Photo Stream and had that turned on prior to deletion, they might have landed there.
Otherwise, unless you had them specifically backed up, they're gone. -

HT4906 How can I get Photo Stream to work in iPhoto on my iMac?
Photo Stream folder acts as if it has never been used. Yellow box shows directions on how to get started. Even though I have had it working successfully in the past, I tried each of the methods. No luck.
I have gone through the process of verifying that photo stream is turned on properly on all devices (iPhone 5, iPad (original), and iMac (2011). If I download from my camera, all pictures show up on iPhone and iPad, but not in Photo Stream folder on iMac iPhoto. The date after the title "Photo Stream" shows December 5, 2011. (That's probably when I started using this iMac).Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
Then check the iPhoto/Photo Stream preference pane to make sure the necessary checkboxes are checked. -

Can you get photos back after recovering your ipod touch?
My iPod touch has been freezing on the apple logo screen and not opening up. I was told I'm going to have to recover or restore to factory settings in order for it to work again meaning, all my data will be gone. The problem is our computer died shortly after getting my Touch so i haven't synched with iTunes before. Does this mean it's a lost cause for my photos and videos? I could care less about the apps and even the music is ok to do without but the photos of my family are more important. Please help!
Also if you had photos treat, but if you didn't use iCloud then I don't think you will be able to get them back

Can you get photos onto iTouch 4 from camera?
I am traveling away from my Mack and taking photos with my Canon dig. camera.I also have my iPod iTouch 4 with me.Is it possible to sync the photos from the Canon dig. camera on the iTouch without the use of the Mac?
"Is that an absolute, definite "no"?"
Yes.
"I was hoping that you could do it with the camera connector kit. "
Hope is good. It is still not a feature of the ipod touch.
"I wanted to buy an ipod touch mainly for this purpose. "
Then don't.
"You can do it on the ipad."
True. Still not a feature of the ipod touch.
"Anyone got a second opinion?"
This is not an opinion. It is indeed the way it is.
Sorry. -
TS4425 How can I get Photo Stream to show on my Apple TV?
The iCloud terms and conditions do not load when I open iCloud on my PC. I have version 2.1.1 and both my iPad and iPhone are still on iOS 5 (neither of which I want to update to iOS 6).
With the app "Agent-Shot".
But there is no Geotag ;-(

If someone hid your ipodtouch how can you get it back
if someone hid your ipodtouch how can you get it back or find it?
How would you find or get back anything else that you lost?
Do that.
IF you set up find my ipod on the ipod itself BEFORE it was lost AND it is on AND it is connected to wi-fi, then you may be able to get an approximate street address using icloud.
Otherwise, there is no way to track it. -

HT201302 How do I import my iCloud Photo Stream into Finder so I can edit images in Photoshop?
I'm new to iCloud and my Photo Stream. On my iPhone 6 I have 60-odd pictures from a vacation that I'd like to put on Facebook _AFTER_ editing them in Photoshop CS4. Is there a easy way to copy the photo stream pictures to Finder so I can get started? I don't see this option on my iPhone, and I definitely don't want to import them into iPhoto which is so limited in editing capabilities.
Thanks in advance for any/all help.
MikeWho shall be able to see your photos? If you use "My Photo Stream", only persons using your AppleID and iCloud account will be seeing the Photos. That is very restrictive. And the PhotoStream does not store your photos for a long time. It only pushes the photos to your other devices.
You can use Shared Photo Streams. That are stored in the cloud and you can invite other iCloud users to view these streams. But they will need MacOS X Mt. Lion to see the stream. iCloud: Using and troubleshooting Shared Photo Streams
But if you publish a journal as a webpage to your iCloud homepage, the webpage will be stored in the cloud and you can invite persons to view the webpage. They do not need to sign up for a shared photo stream.
To view your published web journal in a web browser you need to share a link, also to yourself on your windows laptop:
To share a link to your published journal, tap Share Journal and do any of the following:
Send a link in a message: Tap Message, add a recipient, and tap Send.
Tweet a link: Tap Twitter and enter a tweet. Tap Send.
Post a link to Facebook: Tap Facebook and tap Post.
Send an email with a link: Tap Mail, add a recipient, and tap Send.
Copy a link: Tap Copy and paste the link into another app.
Sharing your journal and publishing to Photo Stream may take a long time. Your iPad will not upload to the Cloud, if the battery is low (less then 20%). -
Can someone help me get Photo Stream to appear under Web in the iPhoto Source List? I have updated all my software. iPhoto 11, Mac OS X 10.7.5 All of my preferences are checked. I am able to see the shared Photo Stream on my iPad, but not my Mac. The Mac iPhoto photos from the shared photo stream are appearing in the Photo Stream (under Recent), but I thought they would appear as a shared Photo Stream in its own file/album (like on the iPad and iPhone) - labeled with the shared Photo Stream's title. Is this supposed to happen on the Mac? Thanks!
So you are saying for it to do what i want: shared photo stream to appear in web then i need to upgrade.
Yes
Does that mean i purchase the new software an it's not just an update?
Yes
Your profile indicates your running 10.7.5. For shared Photo Streams you need to be running 10.8.2 or later: The following is from iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
What do I need to use Photo Stream?
To use Photo Stream, including Shared Photo Streams, you need an iCloud account, compatible devices, and up-to-date software: iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6.0 or later Mac with OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 or later and iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later
So you'll need to upgrade to Mt. Lion.
iPhoto requirements are free updates for iPhoto '11
