I dropped my iPhone 3gs and it broke apart. Took it to someone to fix it and it broke even worse. I was going to sell it to a company that would repair it and sell it. Before I do that I want to get all of my data off it...is there a way I can do this or am I just screwed?

No, but unless the company you're selling it to has forensic methods of extracting the data, it's unlikely they can get at it either. When they're done fixing it, there will be new parts and the phone will be wiped of data.
If there is really sensitive data on the phone, and you're worried - best to take a sledge hammer to it, and call it a loss...

I have i phone and i have i tunes here is my problom. last night i formatted my HP windows 7 computer and i backed up my pictures and backed up i tunes witch i thoght i did becasue i backed it up on my external 500 MB hard drive and with out making a folder and c oping i tunes i only backed up library and before the format i went to edit, preferences and adavaned in i tunes (sorry about the bad spelling) becasue apples's step by step i read and saw the pictures were to go and i thought i can back up i tunes that way. My phone has 333 songs all my pictures apps and contacts and there is no way to re copy from the phone back in to i tunes i do not use i cloud becasue (one i do not want to pay for more space) and 2 the free version tells me i do not have enough space to back it up so i am worried one sync i will lose all my info. these songs are from cd's i have and off the Internet before the courts stopped Napster and Lime Wire. Sos what should i do just unstalli tunes and leave my computer as a re charging stastion? or is there any secret way to get all my things back then this time i can make a folder and do it right in case the next time i have to re format my drive from a problems or need to what is the best case here?

Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

I Recently went to a cave while on vacation in Germany and was bumped into which caused my iPhone 4S to fall out of my hands. When it fell it fail over the railing and slid down a little bit of the cave floor. when I retrieved it my camera app (which had been open when the phone was dropped) was Like bleeding down my screen in a way it was just like showing the bottom part where you click to take the picture over and over again. My phone screen no longer works but I CAN still hear the sound when I take a screenshot. Other than that my phone does nothing. i currently have it in a bag of rice because it is a possibility it got a little wet but not likely. My phone does have a password on it. I really only have an interest in saving my pictures if I can save my phone that would be great but if not then oh well. I have an iPhone 4S

Try cleaning the lens and see if that will restore functionality to the DVD drive. Use a DVD lens cleaning disk, if you have a can of compressed air, shoot some into the slot or wrap a fine microfiber cloth (eyeglasses cleaning cloth) around a business card and insert it gently inside the slot.
If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and get a free diagnosis from them.

Things i had to set manually;
1) Keyboard layout, because it defaults to US
2) Two mouse keys don't work had to manually set, Emulate3Buttons defaults on (wanted it off)
3) "VideoOverlay" is off by default (or is not auto detected)
3) needed to set DPI to 96
4) needed to set color to 24 (defaulted to 8?)
apart from that, the auto detection is vastly improving IMO.
The main premise behind this, is to debate the auto detection capabilities of hardware by xorg.

Hmmm... Submit button doesn't need a double click at all. Maybe you are talking about the two-step process? When you click on Submit, the feedback appears with the message to click anywhere or press Y. Is that what you are talking about? If you are talking about a real double-click, something must be wrong in your file. And which version are you using?
