Can you have 2 different accounts for 2 different Iphones on one comp?

Mt friend wants to set up her iphone on my computer but can i set up another account for her or will she have to do it on her own computer?

Hi Geminaus, it can be done on your computer, but if you use your own computer login to do so you will have to re-setup your iTunes account.
You could enable the Mac OS X Guest account
(see: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/15600.html)
And then login as the Guest user, setup your friends iPhone using iTunes on the guest account and then once you logoff and go back to your personal user everything is back to normal.

  • Can you have 2 accounts for the one iPod touch without wiping data?

    My daughter got an iPod touch for christmas, however she has bought some items from the store from her mums account. I do not want to use her mums account, that is for her own use. However if I want to make an account with only iTunes credit on it on the same iPod is this possible without wiping all the previously bought data?
    Help would be grately appreciated, if need more information please comment or contact me on: tim.noldus1992<at>gmail<dot>com
    Many thanks in advance.

    An iPod can be synced to only one computer and one iTunes account. There's no way around that. Sorry.

  • Any one knows how to have 2 libraries for your iphone 4, one in an iMac and other in an MacBook pro ?

    Hi, does any one knows how can i have 2 libraries for my iphone 4, one in my iMac and the same apps in my MacBook Pro ?????
    can i only have one library ????
    do i have to delete my library from one of my Macs?
    thanks so much.
    everything is very easy on Mac but transfering your contacts, apps, music and other info is so hard !!!!!
    they should fix this problems for all the users .

    Iphone will sync itunes contacts and pics with one and only one computer at a time  if you sync to another, it will indeed erase the current content and replace with content from the new library.

  • Can you have multiple users for one account?

    Can you have multiple users for one account? if so how do you set it up.
    We are using it for our department and it would be great to see who created what form instead of it being all one name.

    Each person should have their own account. You can easily share the forms with other people in your department. You will be able to see who the author of the form is.
    More information on how to share :

    You can only have one active iCloud account and one iTunes account.  Are you by chance refering to email accounts defined in the mail app?  If so, if one of the accounts (a non-iCloud account) is a POP account, then an email is usually sent to one device.  Once sent, the email is deleted from the server, thus other devices never get copies.  That's how POP works.

  • Can you have two nicknames for game center for two kids linked to one Apple ID?

    Can you have two nicknames in game center (for each child) linked to one email/apple ID?

    On each of the phones you're gonna use a new Apple ID for iCloud: turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
    This will have no affect on the ID you share for iTunes content, & you can continue to do so.

  • Can you increase the fonts for your iphone 5s

    I can increase the fonts for my email and texts but can you increase the fonts for everything on your iphone, example apps

    If by "for the Apps" you mean the app labels? No. But you might try experimenting with Accessibility settings to see if you can acheive something that will help. As for the size of text within an app, that would depend on whether the app provides that configuration setting.

  • Can you set alerts specific for different calendars so when you create an event, the alert for the event is already set?

    On google calendar if you had a calendar for work and one for school, you can set alerts for earch so when you add a class or work related event, the event is set with alerts for that calendar. Can you do that with iCal?

    Hi Steven,
    This is one of the reasons why I wrote Dates to iCal.
    As well as automatically syncing birthday dates from Address Book, Dates to iCal can sync anniversary and custom dates. It can set up to five alarms for each date in iCal and can also set different alarms for birthdays and anniversaries.
    Best wishes

  • Can you have two psswords for an Itunes account?

    My kids have i pods. They tell me they need the password I set up for normal use of the i pods. I have had problems with them buying apps they thought where free etc. Is it possible to have one password for purchases and one for normal use and free apps?
    I have to say that trying to reach anyone at Apple for customer support is impossible. I have tried evrything, called, email,web links. Worst customer service set up I have ever seen. Sorry, very frustrated. Impossible to get an actual cus support rep. It is a simple question too.
    Thanks for any advise.

    You cannot have two passwords for one Apple ID. If you set up restrictions - I believe that you can require a password for in app purchases. You can simply restrict app purchases as well with restrictions but that would restrict the downloading of free apps as well.
    Settings>General>Restrictions.

  • Can you have payments be redirected to more than one Paypal account?

    Question, can certain products sales be deposited into different Paypal Accounts?
    Scenario, I have a school.
    One Product is for PTA, another for Education Foundation, another for the School it's self.
    I would like to have one store, They would like to not commingle monies. Can that happen through BC?

    Not using the BC paypal options no.
    I have had that come across me before from someone wanting a site and we told them it is not nativly possible within BC.
    If you use paypal standard and the paypal basic form itself but have no data going into BC you can get something but it wont cover what you need either.
    There is a real complex way but you have to have high knowledge of BC and scripting to be able to do this, you could hire someone to scope this and quote you for it and see if it covers what you need.

  • Can you have multiple accounts under same apple id?

    We have 1 main apple id for our household so that anything we buy can be shared onto any of our devices. However this is a problem when we use giftcards. When 1 child redeems their gift card onto the account, they can't stop the other sibling from using their money accidentally. Is there a way to set-up separate subaccounts while still being able to share content among all of us?

    iCloud isn't designed as a multi-user service. Either you all have the same ID, and all your data is available to everyone, or you all have separate IDs and keep your data separate. You can share calendars, so that for example you could all have your own calendars but have one which is common to everyone:

    If you want to share contacts you will have to do it manually. If you want to do file transfer you will have to find a third-party alternative.

  • Can you have multiple accounts on the same ipad2?

    Can my wife and I share the same iPad using two different accounts? If so, how?

    If you want differing accounts (like on a PC where you login to different user accounts) with different settings (like background image, icon settings per page, etc,) per account, then no.

  • Can you have multiple accounts in one library?

    I've had two iTunes accounts for several years now, and it was never a problem on my old laptop--I needed the second account because I wanted to use a giftcard from outside the US, and the credit refused to apply to the US iTunes store.  However, I replaced my computer about a month ago, and the new version of iTunes won't download my iTunes purchases automatically.  When I try, it says it's already associated with another account, and it will add restrictions if I set it to automatically download purchases.  I don't know what this means, but I'd like a way around it.  I don't want to have multiple libraries (which seems to be the only way I've seen other people on the forum use multiple accounts); there's music on both accounts that I listen to all the time.  I've been stuck working off of two computers for a month now, and it's getting frustrating.  Help?

    To elaborate a bit more. The public class must match the filename, however you can declare "inner" classes.
    An inner class can be declared inside another class, or even inside another method. Where you declare that class dictates the scope it will have. However, the lack of an ability to declare these classes public (a public class must be declared inside a java file with the same name), means that they are not visible anywhere else. However, they do still have plenty of uses.
    Declaring a class inside a method is used rarely, but would look something like
    public void foo(Bar myBar = new Bar
            private String baz = "Hello";
            public String doSomething()
                 return baz;
         myBar.doSomething()
    }This declares and implements the class Bar inside the method header. Sure, this is a pretty useless example, but you could put any methods or variables inside your inner class, and they would be available only during execution of that method. (ie. only have method scope).
    }

  • Can you have multiple accounts on ipod touch

    My daughter has an Ipod touch and I have my itunes account on it.  Is there a way we can have 2 itune accounts linked to the same Ipod touch?

    Yes. Just note the 90-day time period mspecifed her for using some iCloud features.
    iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
    Also note:
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

  • Can I have two accounts for one IPod touch?

    I have two homes, two computers (one in each home), and one IPod touch. I already have an account set up on one computer in the one home. I have a second home that I'm at about one week per month. I just want to be able to buy itunes at the second home and download them also to my one IPod. In other words I want to be able to get ITunes from two computers to the just one IPod. Is that possible? My son doesn't think I so.

    If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply. In this mode you can drag and drop whatever you want to the iPod from either library. You can also authorise each computer to use songs purchased from the same iTunes Store account:
