I want to change my index.html page to one that is .php. Is
this possible or do I have to create a new .html page that looks
like my .php page.

To be safe, be sure to remove the .html version from your
directory. Some
hosts give precedence to file names, thus if the .html
version remains, your
.php version will not show up as the default index page.
By the way, some hosts also allow you to parse HTML files
with PHP; can be
handy if you add a PHP menu to your site but don't want to
lose any rankings
you may have on the .HTML pages (or mess around with a ton of
302
redirects).

With Windows it is done via the GUI interface of IIS. I'm not 100% certain of the clicks here because I have only sparingly used IIS in my experience, but if you have IIS I am sure someone here will be able to help you.

Can you have a shallow page, yet have anchors scroll deeper content behind.

Is it possible to have a deep page, using anchors to jump down the page, BUT to only have say 500 of the depth visible and the rest hidden. So you see the header at the top, footer at the bottom and anchors scroll the content up and down within 500 pixel deep page content.

File don't have to be 1024x768, but a common approach is to use 1024x768 source files in InDesign and add them to 2048x1536 folios (or just leave them as 1024x768 in PDF image format). As you suggest, you can also create 2048x1536 source files and add them to 2048x1536 folios, but you don't really gain anything. Either approach works.
In your case, you want to add a Smooth Scrolling article that's 7200 pixels long in a 2048x1536 folio. You can create a 1024x3600 source article and add it to the folio (the content scales up nicely as Bob L suggests), or you can create a 2048x7200 source article and add it to the folio. But don't create a 1536x7200 or a 768x3600 source file for a horizontal-only folio. I think that's causing the error you're seeing.

Hi, I am creating a web site and have some movie content on some of the pages. Can you have more than one quicktime file on each page? Reason I ask is that on one page I have put 3 movie files but only one shows up when I run the site online. I am not using .mac. The website is on grapeape dot co dot uk and if you look at the examples page you should see what I mean. I get one video that works and 2 large "Q"'s where the other videos were. Odd because it works locally. Any ideas? Many thanks.

I have a 32GB Touch with the newest software i think 2.1, and have purchased a lot of programs/games and such. I noticed when i installed over 144 apps on it the new ones i install do not show up. I have 9 pages on it, can you have more then 9 pages or have more the 144 apps installed at one time? When i purchase one on itunes or on th touch it looks like they dont install because i can not turn to the 10th page on the touch but if i delete an app and power it off and power it back on it will appear in the area where i deleted the previous app...So is the a limit on how many programs you can have on the touch? Or is something going on? Ive tried reinstalling everything and starting from scratch but it does the same thing everytime...So any ideas? Thanks in advance

exactly when you say "most" that isn't all, and we should have the ability to install all the apps/games that we want...I don't want to have to decide before I go out or on a trip which games i think i might wanna play...I think apple really needs to change its thinking on this. All other platforms of PDA type devices do not limit you on how many applications you can have installed, its only limited on the amount of storage you have. So if we have 32GB of storage we should be able to use that amount for more apps

I'm new to InDesign and have a question about documents with mixed page sizes in CS5. I'm preparing an illustrated book for print and was hoping to be able to contain all the pages (including the covers) in one document. My basic setup is 140 mm x 210 mm with a 3 mm bleed on each side. I've managed to add the different cover page (146 mm x 216 mm) and spine (10 mm) dimensions easily enough, but can you have multiple bleed specifications too? The bleed allowance I need for the case layout is 15 mm. I've scoured InDesign and the net, but can't find any information about this anywhere. It would seem rather silly to be able to have multiple page sizes in your document without being able to change the bleed allowance too. Here's hoping it's possible! Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

A form can have more than one page. To introduce a new page in your form, click on the "New Page" icon highlighted in the image below.

As Ocean20 indicates, you want to make sure that you have automatic syncing turned off. In iTunes Preferences under Devices, make sure you have "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically" checked. Then connect each iPhone, and make sure that "Manually Manage Music and Videos" is checked on the Info page for each of them. Then go into each page for each device, and select what you want to sync to that particular device. (you would do this one device at a time - complete the steps for one of the phones, then connect the next one and do the same thing).
With this kind of setup, you can modify what will sync at any given time for a particular device once you have connected it to iTunes, but before you click on the Sync button at the bottom of the screen. If you want to change some sync options on a particular device, you would just go into the page you wanted to change (Music, Photos, Apps, etc.), make your changes, and then Sync.
If you do not have any changes, you can just hook up the phone and click on Sync.

I may have some terminology incorrect...please let me know if I do. :)
My question is, how many ADFS farms can you have in a single forest/single domain? If you want to know why I am asking...please read on.
We have 1 ADFS Farm and we are looking adding services to it. However not every cloud vendor provides a "Identity Broker" with there services.
We have a consultant that is advising that we need to enable a SAML-based IdP-initiated single sign-on (SSO) ie using "IdpInitiatedSignOnPage"
However to do this we need to modify the ADFS website to have "drop down" list so the user can select the "Relying Party" and then authentication with them.
This means we are exposing a list of every company/party we have federated with. The exposure of this information, is deemed a security concern by our company....which I agree with.
So the consultant advises that we need a separate ADFS farm. I have searched online, but haven't found any information that confirms multiple ADFS farms can be implemented in a single forest/single domain.

This is not exactly FIM related question - there is ADFS forum available on Technet. However - technically there is no limit of ADFS farms in a forest \ domain. It is just a service which uses AD and is not altering it in any way or storing some forest-wide
information like Exchange. So you can setup two ADFS services in single forest - no problem.
If it is a best solution to your problem? I can't say with that limited information but maybe just customization of pages on ADFS side would be enough?

If you were to upgrade to InDesign CS5 or CS5.5 and if you exported as Adobe PDF (Interactive), you could set the View settings for Page Layout and Zoom.
While, as Jongware points out, its possible for individual users to override that option (Preferences > Page Display > Default Layout and Zoom), the number who will actually do that is actually very tiny.

Can you create an index on a Map?

I have a few questions that I can't seem to figure out nor find a viable example for. Can you create an index for a Map contained within a nested object, and if so, how would you do this? I currently have a Filter the inspects this criteria in the cache but am unable to figure out to create a usabe index for the custom filter. I'm using Coherence 3.5.2 - any help would be most appreciated. I'm not sure if/what I need to do with the SimpleMapIndex....
Here's the basic object map below. My filter is retrieving all of the CustomerGroup objects that have a Customer in it's collection that contains the passed in Integer value in the Customer's Map. So can you create an Index on a Map (and a nested one at that) and how do you that? The index would need to be on the nested customerValues hashmap.

If you write a custom ValueExtractor, which you need to create an index, then you will not need a custom Filter.
Depending on how efficient you need to be you custom extractor can use POF and not have to deserialize the entries to create the index, or it can deserialize the class, which will make the code more straight forward.
For example, without using POF

}The extractor above will return a collection of all of the Integer values in the keys of all the customerValues of all the customers in a CustomerGroup (I have guessed you might have accessor methods on the classes you posted).
You can then use a ContainsFilter for your query. For example to get all the values from the cache where the customerValues map contains a 19 in the key...
Set results = cache.entrySet(new ContainsFilter(new MapKeyExtractor(), 19));You could write a version of the MapKeyExtractor that uses POF and would not deserialize the values but this would be more complicated code as it would need to extract the Map from the POF stream of the value and walk down the keys and values extracting the keys. It is doable but not worth it unless you are really worried about performance of index updates.
Discalimer I have written the code above from the top of my head so have not compiled it or tested it but it should be OK.
