Can you have two different users with separate itune accounts on the same Ipad?

Yes, create another user profile on the computer and each user can log into their own profile that way.

  • Can you have two copies of Encore CS6 running on the same computer?

I'd love to be able to have two copies of Encore on the same computer. While one copy is encoding and burning, I'd love to get another project started and encoding on the same computer and maybe, if possible, even start burning to a separate external burner. But first, I'd love to just be able to have two copies of Encore open on the same computer. I tried copying the Encore CS6 folder to a different drive and then running it but it says there's another Encore in session and this may cause issues with the hardware.
    Windows 8.1 Pro
    X99 5930k 6-core
    32 GB Ram
    GTX 970 4GB GPU
    Thanks!

I can't imagine Encore being able to run 2 instances.
Build from Encore to an image (iso), and get ImgBurn. You can run multiple instances of ImgBurn and burn as many DVD/BDs as you have burners (including externals via USB or whatever). Send him a donation; his product is fantastic.

  • Can you have two separate iPods on iTunes without having the same songs?

My husband and I both have iPods but we don't want to same music on them. Really we would like to have two separate iTunes, so that I don't get his music and he doesn't get mine. Is that possible or do we just have to manually sync them?

  • Can you have two iPads on one iTunes account?

Can i add two iPads to one iTunes account and then move one to another iTunes account at a later date?

I sync three different iDevices with one iTunes account/iTunes library on my Mac. You can select the exact content that you want to sync to each device by customizing the sync settings for each device.
If you want to sync the iPad with another iTunes account or iTunes library at a later date - you will lose all of the content on the iPad from the old iTunes account. You can only sync with one iTunes library at a time and if you consider the iTunes account to be what is in your iTunes library - meaning content that you bought with one particular Apple ID - then you can only sync one account at a time as stated.
Perhaps if you defined or explained exactly what you mean by iTunes account, this could be clarified a little more.

  • Can i have TWO seperate libraries on seperate disks in the SAME computer ??

    1)sony viao, running vista business.
2)partitioned hard disks, "C" drive ( 105 GB ) has the vista OS and everything else, "I" drive ( 121 GB ) has just the itunes media files.
3)"C" drive has 72 GB still free, while "I" drive is practically full of music.
4)my systems person tells me i cannot "shift" the partition, to increase size in "I" while reducing size in "C".
5)one option is to fit a new, larger hard drive, buti rather not take the risk unless absolutely necessary.
    6) can i create a "new" user, with his own library +in "C" drive+ ? this way, i can :
.. use the excess space in "C", and not have to change to a larger hard drive
...keep my classical music on "I" and sync to my 120GB ipod to play thru the home set up.
... keep my easy listening music on "C" and sync that to my 80 GB ipod and 3G iphone for use in the jeep and at the gym.
would this work ? would i have two installations of itunes , or just two libraries ?
many thanks to the experts out there who can figure this one out .

Personally, I wouldn't change the prefs to copy music to a different iTunes music folder everytime.
As long as it is playable in iTunes, it doesn't matter which drive it is located on.
Just change it to the C: drive and add music.
    1) i create a new folder in "C" for the music i want to store in C , and point itunes to this folder.
    Yes.
    2) i can move some of the current music in "I" to this new folder in "C".
Yes but it's not quite that simple. Once you move a song in iTunes via Windows Explorer, iTunes will ikely lose this link and ask you to point to it. Not aproblem if you move a few songs but if you do a lot, since you can only do them one at a time.
    3) depending on the type of music i'm downloading, i set the path in the advanced settings to either "C" or "I".
    If you want.
    But I wouldn't.
If you start getting close to full on the internal (as a general rule you should keep at least 10%-15% free space on boot drive) and get a larger drive, set iTunes prefs to the new drive then File Library -> Consolidate to copy everything the new drive.
Then you can delete the iTunes music folders on the C: and I: drives.

  • Can you have two psswords for an Itunes account?

My kids have i pods. They tell me they need the password I set up for normal use of the i pods. I have had problems with them buying apps they thought where free etc. Is it possible to have one password for purchases and one for normal use and free apps?
I have to say that trying to reach anyone at Apple for customer support is impossible. I have tried evrything, called, email, web links. Worst customer service set up I have ever seen. Sorry, very frustrated. Impossible to get an actual cus support rep. It is a simple question too.
    Thanks for any advise.

You cannot have two passwords for one Apple ID. If you set up restrictions - I believe that you can require a password for in app purchases. You can simply restrict app purchases as well with restrictions but that would restrict the downloading of free apps as well.
    Settings>General>Restrictions.

  • Can you have two different itunes account on the same computer

how can you have 2 different itunes accounts on the same computer?

You would need two seperate users on the computer. Then each library would be independent of each other. Or do you mean two seperate iTunes store accounts?

I'm going to give my old iPad to my granddaughter, I want to create an account for her, but I want to do it on my computer so there are no worries about who is spending credits for that account. Don't know how this will work, or if its possible to two iTunes libraries.
    Okay.
She's going to use your computer to sync with iTunes.
Create an new computer login on your computer for her. This will keep her stuff separate and she won't be able to mess with any of your info.
    Log into her computer account.
    Launch iTunes.
Create a new iTunes account for her. See this -> http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731
You can enter a credit card to create the account then delete the CC info. Or you can use an iTunes gift card and she can fund the account with gift cards instead of using a CC to make purchases. This is an easy way to control spending.
on the iPad, go to Settings > iMessage > Off.
Then Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content & settings.
Once it finishes, plug in the iPad, select it in iTunes and this will set it up as a new device. Enter all your granddaughter's info.
When she wants to sync her iPad or use iTunes, she needs to log into your computer with her account.
Then the iTunes library she uses will be only hers.

    No.
To be correct, there is no such thing as an iTunes credit card account. There is an iTunes account with credit card info (if you choose to add that info).
I suggest you create a new account for him. You can use your credit card if you wish (i would NOT recommend that as there is no way to limit purchases).
You can use your CC to create the account then immediately remove it after creating the account.
Then give him gift cards to add to his account or give him an iTunes allowance.

can you have 2 itunes account on the same computer?

Yes, go to your Windows Control Panel and create another user, log into it, run iTunes and it's ready to rock and roll.
Transfer your content over via USB Key, Dropbox or external drive.
Heck the best thing would be to File > Backup library to disk with a bunch of DVD-R's, therefore you get a backup in the process!
    Good Luck
