You can't do what you want. iOS devices cannot pair with non-iOS devices for Bluetooth file transfers.

Forget Bluetooth (which is quite slow anyway) and use a cloud service like Dropbox. -

I have been unable to find any website for the maker, but have looked at several Thai/cambodian sites incl <http://www.buycoms.com/Article/8435/index.asp> which mentions the keyboard being suitable for tablet or windows. No mention of iMac! although the box is branded to indicate Mac compatable.
I'm thinking that maybe it just will not pair with an iMac.
Ill keep looking for the maker website, which might come on later in the future? maybe?

Using the term "pair" implies to me that you are trying to use Bluetooth to connect them. This will not work. To connect your iPad to your computer the first time download and install the latest version of iTunes on your computer. Start iTunes and connect your iPad using the USB connector that came with the iPad. Your iPad should be listed in the left column of iTunes.

After installing ios6 to ipad2 I no longer it went back to factory settings. I cannot sync iTunes on my computer with the iPad but get a message "pairing record is missing". Can anyone help me.
I need to uninstall my old version on itunes and install a new version, i cant uninstall from Programs and Features, a message keeps coming up saying 'The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.'
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.) -
I've done everything I know in order to get my calendar in iCloud synchronized with my macBook, my IPad and my iPhone, but get no success. I've checked if all devices are set to the same account. Can you help me?
The only thing I can see strange is that when I login my iCloud account through my principal email address, when I check my preferences is marked an @me.com address that is old and I don't use it anymore, but I can't erase it or even change it.

Hi, Can you help me I am running an iMac 10.7.5 and iPad 6.0.1 and a macair10.8.2. iCloud is syncing emails and notes but not photos. Photo streaming is switched on on the iMac. what do I need to do to stream photos?
Hi you have basicly 2 Options.
1 -if you Switch One fotostream on all 3 devices of yours which are working on the same apple id -all Fotos you Take with your iPad will be synchronized via icloud to the other 2 decvices ( w-lan and battery depending).
2- If you select foots or a whole album in iPhoto on your air or iMac and choose than puplish --> fotostream --> new or existing event you can key in a friends mail. If this friend has iCloud and iPhoto ( for iMac or MacBook ) and click on the link in the email it will download this fotos in the fotostream section in iPhoto. If he has a iPad, iPhone,... It will do it in the foto app and if he doesn't have a iCloud account at all and you choose "public web site" while publishing he can see your fotostream on a website. -

I do not use the Internet using wifi I use 3G mobile broadband and if I do need wifi it tells me I have to pay for it, but I can not work out how to install or connect my iPad with my new printer if there is not a cd slot or USB port. I only have an iPad no computer so how on earth do I use my printer with it if it I can't install the printer cd. I though I would be able to use Bluetooth and it would pick it up automatically but I am really confused now and don't know what to do please help.
The iPad uses AirPrint technology to print to a printer. Check this Apple support page to see if your printer is listed as being AirPrint compatible.

If your printer works with AirPrint you will need a Wi-Fi network in order to connect. That Wi-Fi network does not need to be connected to the Internet. As James Ward4 says, you'll need a Wi-Fi router to set up your network. Most routers require that a computer be used during the setup process. Perhaps you could use someone's computer to do the setup if you do not had one yourself. Once the router is set up you should be able to print. -
please can anyone help< i am trying to connect to my broadband wifi at home with my ipad. i have a pc also which has connected no problem, hence i can ask this question. i tried to connect at my daughters using her broadband wifi and it connect ed first time, it is recognising the network talktalk but i am unable to get a connection. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
I have forgotten my iPad password and tried to back up and restore my iPad but it says you need to unlock your device before you restore it but that is the whole reason I am trying to restore my iPad. Can anyone help?

the Apple id on my iPad was signed out. we don't remeber the password. I was going to create a new Id for it but the sign in box won't go away. Even if you hit cancel it immediately pops back up. You can't do anything in the iPad because the box won't go away.
If you can't remember its password then you should be able to get it reset (either via email or by answering its security questions) via http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't get it reset via that page then contact Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset it : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support

Let's start with iTunes.
Have you updated iTunes to 11.1.5, because the previous version did appear to have an issue about seeing iPods?
With iTunes 11.1.5 installed, look in Edit/Preferences/Devices, (or use the ALT key, followed by the E key and then the F key) and make sure that the box named Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically does not have a tick in the box.
Once you have doen those two things, check to see if the iPod is seen by iTunes.

Really?
OS stands for Operating System. (In computer speak, IO means Input/Output.)
iOS originally stood for iPhone Operating System, but it now refers to the iPod Touch and iPhone. The iPod Classic, which you have listed in your profile as your iPod, does not use iOS.
I assume that you have been listening to the Podcast in your iTunes on the computer as you cannot transfer it to your iPod. It's what I'd do. -

You can backup the iPad and then do a restore to factory condition which will completely wipe it: Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. But, before doing that remember, it completely erases everything.
You then have to restore from a backup...if you have a backup from before the bad message, you can use that and be fine. If not, you would be better off setting up the iPad as new and then redownload your apps and music...you can do that by going to the app store and itunes and tap the Purchases button and redownload everything.
You will loose your photos and email, and such in the process, however. If you have iCloud, put the photos in PhotoStream and then use that to put them back on the iPad.
Without a good backup from just before the bad message, erasing is going to cause you a lot of work. -
I have windows 8 enterprise OS and iTunes ver. 10.5.0.142. I was upgrading my iPad to IOS 6.1.3. After finishing the upgrade my iPad Reboot and currently stucked-up in a plug-in screen and iTunes Logo. When I try to connect it to the iTunes pop-up message appear saying " iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes." In short, I push the restore button then another pop-up message appear saying " The iPad software update server could not be contacted. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later." I tried many ways but still no luck. I repeatedly reboot the iPad and open the iTunes still the same problem. I try also to uninstall the iTunes and installed the lower version but still the same problem, I even check the firewall if the ITunes was block or My privileges is administrator to run the iTunes or even reset my winsock but the problem still remain. PLEASE HELP! Thank you in advance!!!

Why can't I Apple+H hide Final Cut during capture anymore?
