Pre-IE9 browsers do not support CSS Media Queries. Your page looks OK to me in IE9 standards mode. However, Compatibility mode is essentially IE7 so that will look very bad.
Add this meta tag under your <title>. It forces IE into standards mode with the highest engine available on the user's computer.

That said, if you must support legacy browsers (pre-IE9), then you'll need to create an IE only style sheet without any media queries in it. Then wrap your link to IE-only.css inside a conditional comment just above your closing </head> tag.

Can you help with why my Ipad, when streaming with Airplay, drops off my wifi extender?

Hi, I use a wifi extender to get better coverage down the back of my house. When close to my router, I use airplay from my ipad on my regular network, streaming to my marantz sr5007. It works perfectly. When I'm in the backroom, I choose the extender network for my ipad (network.ext) to stream music using airplay. After a few minutes (normally 3 but it's been up to 20minutes), the music stops and the ipad shows it's back on it's own speaker. No music is playing. I can then choose the marantz again, the music will start. Two minutes later the same thing happens.
This only happens when on the SSID of the extender. Strangely, when I use itunes on my pc to stream music, and place it on the extender SSID, it's stable and keeps the connection to the marantz.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll also try to use a static IP for the marantz. That seems to have helped a couple of people.

Can you help understand what does this error mean in Conductor?

We setup the free conductor with a Virtual TP server with demo licenses and we were even able to make a call to a VMR but when we called again everything stopped working and we got this error on conductor.
I checked the TP server and the licenses are there.

Firefox 4 requires MacOS X 10.5 or 10.6. Sorry about that. You can update to 3.6.17, but that is the end of the road for MacOS X 10.4.

CANVAS program at Univ of Mary Washington- since 15 September am unable to upload documents via my Mac using Firefox 3.6.23, Mac OS X.4.11. Can you help?

Until about 15 September, I was able to upload DOC documents to a Files site for students to read as extra assigned material. On or about that date, I have been blocked from doing that. When I go to upload a document, it starts and then says UPLOAD ERROR. I can still upload if I send the DOC document to a PC computer as an e-mail attachment and then upload it on the PC. The following are the specs of my computer:
I-Mac Processor PC G4
Memory 512 SDRAM
OS X.4.11
Remaining memory on HD approx 30 Gegs
Firefox browser my standard) 3.6.23
Like I say, I was able to use canvas fully until around that date. From our IT Dept, I understand that Canvas works with Firefox 3.5 and above. Can you help me?

Mozilla "unable to detect plug-in version", click "rsearch" and get myriad sies offering stuff I have no hope of understanding. Can you help?

Want to update plug-ins as I've been getting script errors, usually involving chrome and what may be java script, advisories of virtual memory being too small, etc. Nurse indicates some "Up to date" in green box. Others indicate "unable to detect plug-in version. I click "research" and get myriad sites offering options I've no hope of understanding. Can you help? L

What are the names of the plugins that show up as "Research" on the [https://www.mozilla.com/plugincheck/ Mozilla Plugin Check] page?
For example, I only have one like that, Microsoft® Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin np-mswmp ... and the Research button lists a Microsoft page as the first link.

Very weird day in Firefoxland
First on a Powerbook G4 running 10.4.11 I respond to an invitation to upgrade to Firefox 4 (like a lot of others). Long story short, I wind up losing the browser altogether -- including all bookmarks. Why? Because neither the Firefox homepage (or CNET downloads) makes it clear that 4.0 is for OS 10.5 only! Amazing!
Then I try to register to post a reply in a thread that crits Firefox for not making this System Requirements info upfront clear. But the Register page I’m taken to (https://support.mozilla.com/bs/users/register) is in SERBO-CROATIAN!!
Then I try to log into Chat a couple of times and when it’s not CLOSED its a long line waiting and THEN it closes.

My problem on this link and other postings on this site seem to be the same. Can you help me understand the use of the word POSITIONS in these context:
1. Our client has asked for financial transaction reports in BW, such as position of Borrowings, Investments and Hedge Operations (TM data).
2. I have a requirement on, some reports related to Money Market (Fixed Term Deposits, Deposits at Notice) something on FSCM-Treasury and Risk Manager. These reports will be similar to that of Loans, i.e. Position statement, flow statement, etc.
3. The set of position values for a single position or a limited amount of positions can be reported by transactions TPM12 and TPM13 in R3.
4. 0CFM_C10 (Financial Positions Cube)
Do you have some simple report outputs to help clarify how the word POSITION is used in such environments?

About 5 days ago for no apparent reason at all, about
7000 songs which i have collected over a number of
years has just decided that it wont play in ITUNES or
in any other of my media players. When you click on
Play over a song nothing happens. The play icon
doesnt even come up on the screen.
Steps I have taken so far are:
1 - Remove all tracks from ITUNES and then re-add the
folder where all the songs are. This has obviously
removed all songs, but when I have re-added the
folder , it has added about 650 tracks back on to the
playlist. These 650 tracks will play. This leaves
approx 6400 tracks that it wont play.
By the way all the songs on my PC are MP3 type and I
have had no problem playing any of them until last
week.
2 - I have re-installed ITUNES and reinstalled
Quicktime and that has not worked.
3 - All of my songs are backed up on to a External
Hard Drive. I have tried to restore the songs and
also play them directly from the external hard drive.
I get the same problem when I do this.
4 - I have enabled and allowed all permissions for
the account that I am running the PC from.
I am guessing there must be some settnig or Registry
Key that is blocking me playing the tracks from the
PC. I have also tried to launch the songs in Media
Player and Sonic stage but thsi has not played
either.
All the tracks are in the folder structure as they
were before so I know they are there. I just need to
somehow unlock them.......
If anyone has any ideas, I would be very grateful as
I dont want to lose my entire music collection.
Also I cannot find anyweher on here that is a Support
number or email address for Apple as this is an
ITUNES issue and they should be resolving it for
me!!!!

Here what really happen when I install the Mozilla Firebox on my La[top you can see the file is there but when I click the program to open its does not shown on the screen but when I check with WTM (Windows Task Manager) its shows that is ON and you can only witness the laptop going very slow and I have to reboot it, and I can not install any other Mozilla :( because of the same problem and all the above.
I really need Mozilla to work as soon as possible due to important deadlines I have pendent, and i can only use Chrome but is not my ideal program. Can you help me , please ?????

I can't get Firefox to start at all. It won't even open so I can't reset it. Can you help?

Firefox has been my browser for the last 7 years and I have never had a problem with it. But over the weekend it crashed and now it just won't open. You can use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.
