Because this forum software is so absolutely USELESS now, you don't get to see the whole of the question in this view. In the other (non-list) view it says:

And the answer is that if you can't isolate the vocal in the stereo field, or it is one of these odd ones where it's used inverted polarity in different parts of the stereo signal for the same vocal, then you won't be able to. But without a sample, it's impossible to tell. If you can post a link to one, that might help. It has to be external to this site though - Adobe in their infinite wisdom don't allow the posting of audio files on their audio U2U forum. Helpful, that, isn't it?

Hey all,
First off i would like to say hey to everyone as i am new so i hope someone out there can help me and me likewise in the future.
Onto my problem. I recently bought an Alesis Multimix 8 USB and i am having a few problems with my iBook recieving the left and right signals from the device. I am currently running it through Ableton Live however when it recognises the mixer it says that there is only one input, the left one.
For the work i am trying to do i would need the left and right inputs to act as seperate channels into Live. When i first bought the mixer it worked fine and Live read 2 inputs easily however now for some reason it has stopped seeing one.
I think it may be a problem with the audio software in OS X 3.9 but i am not sure, i am trying to repair what i can however it seems to me that the only option i may have would be reinstalling 3.9 again from scratch.
If anyone has any ideas about what could be wrong or how to get the 2 inputs back i would be very grateful.
Please help me as this is driving me mad!

I cannot pretend that I know anything about your subject but a couple of non invasive things you can try before resorting to a re-install. (Usually a last resort with Macs).
1) Have a look at Audio MIDI setup in your Applications>Utilities folder and see if there is a setting there that with resolve your problem.
2) Create a new user in System Preferences>Accounts.(always a good troubleshooting measure this, whatever the problem). Log out of your own account and into the new. Does the problem persist? If it doesn't there'll probably be a preference file somewhere to do with the device you are using.
If the problem does persist then it could be the unit itself, the lead (have you tried a different one/port?), or - worst case scenario- a hardware/sw problem with your iBook.
Not a lot of constructive help, I'm afraid, but some avenues to explore…

Can anyone help; re: Faxing problems with my 6200 all in one
Our HP office jet 6210 which we use only for faxing and minor printing intermittenly goes crazy with blinking red and amber lights
when a fax is being received or when we are sending one. When the fax fails and we stop the blinking lights, it self tests then turns off. Sometimes when it does this we get an error message printed that says "Power Failure." The party being faxed gets 1/2 a fax or 1 page out of 5. I'll unplug it from the electric and plug it back in and then it will work fine for a day or two. We have tried faxing from the glass when we have problems and that seems to work when self-feed faing doesn't. We have not installed any drivers as this is not plugged into a computer but stands alone with it's own designated phone line.
Any ideas??? The machine is 5 years old and has never given us any trouble until now. Is it time to upgrade?

JoanneI have a new photosmart plus printer B209a CD035A and I have never been able to set up the fax, I get a message saying that the phone line is not connected to the modem, the phone is connected to my modem or I would not have an internet connection, perhaps I am not understanding it, I have the printer set up wireless now but it was wired before and I still could not set it up, I purchased it in April this year along with my new desktop Elite HPE-150f model AY603AA, using windows7 64 bit, now I have a problem with the alignment, all the fonts are cut off down each side which makes it hard to read instructions, can someone give me some help with this. The alignment problem has only just started this past 2 weeks. thanks

Can you help HOGGame-Adobe problem in Gardens of Time?
I play FB's Garden of Time game and now screen is freezing up all the way through game with box at bottom of screen which says HOGGame-Adobe. I have to click on that to start game again until I click on something and same thing happens.....constantly. Not sure what part of Adobe I am having problem with. Sure hope there is help out there.

H.FarnellAre you saying you can read the CD, but just can't get it installed? If the problem is that you don't have a CD drive, go to a local library or similar location and copy the contents of the CD to a memory stick and use that.
There may be a big different between 32 and 64-bit systems fo the install. You might be able to install it on a 64-bit machine with 32-bit compatibility selected. Assuming you are successful with what appears to be an install, your Acrobat Distiller printer and AcroTray (or Acrobat Assistant) will not work on Win7. If you are successful getting Acrobat and DIstiller installed, then we can discuss the workaround to get the rest working. The workaround is not real convenient to use, but it will do the basic print to PDF job.
In reality, it is probably best to bite-the-bullet and buy AA XI. -

So, to translate:

Can you help me use PSE9 with CS5 as an external editor?

I much prefer the Elements Organizer to Bridge, and have a large catalog with tags that I don't want to give up. 95% of the time, I am perfectly happy with the PSE9 editor. However, for the other 5% of the time, CS5 is the ticket (even if only for the better Camera RAW processing). However, I can't seem to save the resulting edited photo in a version set with the original, and for that matter, it seems to get lost somewhere in the ether but PSE9 continues to believe that the file is being edited.
Any help would be appreciated.

ClaudeIn the Organizer go to Edit >>Preferences >>Editing
Under supplementary editing browse to the CS5 editing application and select it, then click OK.
To edit an image select it in Organizer and click Edit >>With CS5.
A new image will be launched automatically and when saved in CS5 will be found next to the original in a version set in the Organizer.

As to your error, the message is telling you exactly what the problem is. Your code can't find the class PodstatneMeno. My first question would be, "Is PodstatneMeno in the same package as Lematizator?" If it's not, then you need to import it in your Lematizator class. -
Can you help fix this problem below?
So I was uploading a video on facebook. I left it there to upload. After a while, I went to check it and my iphone was blank (it was dark). Nothing popped up when I pressed the little circle button or the little unlock button. It could'nt have run out of battery because it was charged to the half of the maxinum. Even so,I went to charge it. 1 hour later, I went to press the cicle button and unlock button. Still, nothing popped up. Please help.
So your iPhone is completely dead? It won't show anything when you charge it or try to power it on? Is it recognised when plugged into iTunes?
One option is to try and restore the phone using iTunes, but if you haven't made a backup of your phone you would lose all data and settings. You may have to put the phone into DFU mode in order to do this, if iTunes can't detect a phone at all (a quick google search will explain how). Obviously you do this at your own risk, but a complete restore of the phone is normally the first port of call when it crashes (if you are able to)
If there is no life at all when trying to do the above, then there is probably a hardware fault, although it seems strange without any physical damage to the phone.
If you are within warantee and don't want to risk it or try this yourself then you would probably want to take it back to your nearest apple store and get them to have a look at it to be perfectly honest. -
I am unable to download the new version of Adobe since I do not recall my password. I was prompted to click on the question mark in the password field but there was none. How do I resolve this issue?
Are you talking about a Mac password or a password for Adobe's website or something?
