Can You Lock Just One Page but not whole site?

I'm sure this was answered -- but now I cannot find it in the topic list.
I want a particular site to be open to one and all. But I want to lock just one page on that site -- which would require a user name and password. My attempts so far end up locking the entire site.
Any suggestions?

if you search this forum for "password one page" you will find some previous posts.
There is one that mentions creating a second one page site and passwording it with a hyperlink in the first site. Might be the way to go. I don't believe you can currently password just one page.

Using Airprint on iPad, can you print just one page out of many?

When I print using my PowerBook, the printer utility comes up and I can print only the pages I want to, not necessarily the whole list of pages. But when using Airprint on the iPad, I get no page selection choice, just PRINT or CANCEL. No instructions in the Users Guide for iOS 6.1 or iOS 7, nor in the Artisan 837 Guide either. Google show that you have to cut what you want to print and then paste it into a new app and print from that app.

When you gift from an iPad, it only allows gifting of a whole album, not an individual track.
But if you log in to your iTunes account on a computer (PC or Mac) you can gift a single song by clicking the little triangle and choosing "Gift This Song" from the menu as shown.

How can I publish just one page at a time?

I switched to a new computer, so I moved the domain file. When I open iWeb, all the pages are there. I made one small change, and only want to update the one page, but since it's on a new computer, all the pages are red and I can't publish just one page - every time I try, iWeb tries to publish all the pages, and it errors out every time. Can anyone tell me how to make it publish just one page at time in spite of the fact that all the pages in the sidebar are red? The only reason I can think for the error message is that there's too much content to do it all at once.

Yes. If you are uploading to a server and not MobileMe, then just select the option publish to a local folder.
When you have done this, then use Cyberduck or Transmit and upload just the one page from your site folder to your server, plus it's resultant file. So if you just want to upload a Welcome page for example, use Cyberduck to upload just the Welcome.html page and the Welcome files to your server and into your root folder on your server, which would be either a public_html folder, a www or htdocs folder.

Only if you copy and past it into the email (and of course it would no longer be a spreadsheet, just text). You can only send files as an attachment not portions of files. you could copy the contents oif the tab into a new file and save it.

Take heart. We can help.
First turn on page view so you can see how the content of your sheet fits on the page(s). A Numbers document contains sheets (listed on the left) which in turn contain tables, charts, text, and graphics. Select the sheet you want to print on the left, then enable page view by selecting the menu item:
"View > Show Print View":
Now you should see your content and how it fits on one, or more, pages. If thie content is too big for one page use the controls and the bottom left of the window to expose the sheet controls:

I'm having problems setting up iTunes on a new PC I've recently purchased. On my old PC - (Vista), myself (David) and my wife (Chris) had different Windows Users accounts, both with separate iTunes accounts which we could access with no problems.
On my new Pc (Windows 7) I have downloaded iTunes and can access my iTunes account with my ID and password when the PC is logged in as 'David' as the User, as can my wife BUT when the PC the PC is logged in as my wife as the User 'Chris' neither of us can access our iTunes account with our relative ID and passwords. We get the message.. "The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.".
I have seen this sentence on Google and on various forums including this one but cannot find a solution which fits my problem which is our iTunes accounts can be accessed when the PC is logged in under one User but not a second User.
Has anyone have ideas to attempt to resolve this issue?

Printing PDFs - Can I Print Just One Page

I want to print one page of a multi-page .pdf document. There does not appear an option to just print one page when I go to print. Am I missing something? Please help.

Hi, Hope I can be of help.
Firstly, click on File, then 'Print'. This will drop the Print dialog page. You should see the following:-
At the top is the window indication your printer, next is 'Presets', then "Copies and Pages', then Copies (type in how many copies you need of any one page) and below this is 'Pages' with the selection defaulted on 'All' which, if you have a file with hundreds of pages, you won't want unless you need to print EVERY page in a folder. Click on 'From' and find the page you actually need to print.
If you click on 'Preview' first, a page will open showing everything that exists in a folder, but you only want to print page 34 (for example) so in the 2 fields next to the 'From' button, type in 34 in the first field, and then go to the next field and type in 34 again. This will ensure that ONLY page 34 will be printed.

PRINTING more than one photo on one page but not at iPhoto's preset sizes

Ahhh! This is so frustrating!
I have several photos which have been downsized to 7.2 x 7.2 cms. I would like to print them all out on one page and eventually add them to a specific photoframe. By printing onto one page it saves expensive photopaper and the enviroment!
However, Im stuck with iPhotos preset sizes which are no good to me! Why is there not a custom size option? Or just an option to print out the photos as the size they genually are?
I would rather not guess the size and use 'N-UP' or 'Sampler'. I just want to print out several small phots onto one page.

If the PDF page content is an image (for text that'd by the image that any scanner provides) then it is an image that exports to Word.
Regardless, Adobe Reader cannot export PDF page content, cannot create PDF and cannot manipulate PDF page content.
Adobe Reader is a PDF viewer only.
Perhaps you have a subscription to one of Adobe's online subscription services.
(ExportPDF, PDF Pack, etc.)
Each of the online subscription services have their own dedicated user-2-user forums.
Easy find as there here in Adobe's Forums. Hmmm, just dumping somewhere means ... Ah well, won't go there. Miss Manners would not approve eh.

Includes work on one page, but not another.

Hello all.
I made a Spry naviation bar. It works on the orginal page, but when I put it on other pages, the menu bar is there, but the spry functionality is gone.
I've also had problems with my CSS stylesheet. I tried putting it in my header include, but it doesn't work on all my pages, but it does work on some. I've checked the links and they seem to be right as well
Any tips?

As a guess, I would say that you are using doc relative paths inside your include files, and the parent page that does not work is in a different directory than those that do work. But like most questions here, without seeing your code we can only guess.

How can you copy/share one mailbox? (Not all)

I use mailboxes within Mail to sort/file project specific emails.
I now need to share just one of these mailboxes with another colleague overseas (also on Mac). If I right-click / export will this erase the copy of the mailbox on my machine? I can't find a simple copy function. I need to keep my copy... I am running 10.9 since yesterday...

I don't know how it will help you. But you could always make a Rule...
Preferneces---> Rules---> Add Rule---> and play around with the settings on there. I don't know how you would determine what gets forward though.
Perform the Following Actions---> Forward to your colleague's email address.

Can you lock "continued on page x" so it won't flow with text?

I have my text boxes linked and as I revise text everything moves. Is there a way to lock (continued of page X) from flowing with the text and stay in the appropriate text box?

I know I could use a separate text box but in this case, I haen't enuf room outside to main text box.

Make it a floating textbox at the position you need and give it wrap to push away the text in the main text body.

Can I sort Comments by the order they appear on a page (i.e., top to bottom)? Or can I only sort by page, but not within a page?

I would like to be able to sort Comments not only by page, but also in the order they fall within a page. For example, starting at the top of the page and working my way down so I am not jumping all over the page. Is there such an option?

Form validation working on one page, but not the other....

I've trued to recreate (admittedly mostly by saving as....) the same functionality here :

They do work when fulled in correctly, but there's a glitch with the validation.
Basically when you fill in a form incorrectly, the page reloads, with the form's accordion closed. When you open it up, its showing the ugly looking error at the top of the form.
Any ideas what's causing it to act like this, as opposed to the way it works in the first link?

When looking at the source code I note that - unlike the first page - this one doesn´t contain any references to the ADDT form validation libraries ("../includes/tng/scripts/FormValidation.js" and "../includes/tng/scripts/FormValidation.js.php"), meaning that the validation can´t work.
