Can you make Firefox 4 usable on Mac OS 10.4.11?

I would love to stay up to date with the latest versions of Firefox, however, my computer here at work is a Mac OS 10.4.11. As it stands now, I would need Mac OS X to update to Firefox 4. Anyway you guys can make Firefox 4 compatible with Mac OS 10.4.11? I don't see my company being able to upgrade computers (or operating systems, even though we need to) any time in the near future. Can you make Facebook events appear on Mac Calendar?

The title more or less says it all. Facebook events now appear on the iOS 6 calendars, but do they also appear on Mac version? Am I missing something?

Hello, I have had the same issue, the Facebook intergration with ioOS displays all the facebook events in the calendar - which can be a real pain if you have lots of events.
I have not found any option in iOS6 to filter by accepted events or to hide declined events. This is something Apple should really work on - sounds to me like they just bundled this into iOS6 without consideration for accepted or declined events.
So the workaround which I have found is to stop the facebook calendar in iOS6 (Settings/Facebook) and instead to subscribe to Facebook events and/or birthdays via the site straight into iCal. What is in your iCal will appear on all your devices so there you go. Make sure in FB to state that you don't want al events to be displayed. Then you'll be fine.

Make sure to go to the settings option on FB page to select which events you want displayed.
It lacks the neat little FB icon that would appear via the iOS intergration but lets hope Apple sorts this out quickly and that we'll be able to chose which events to display, accepted or rejected etc....

How can you make Firefox's settings the same on mulitple computers (not the same as sync)?

I would like Firefox (version 4) to look and have the same settings on more than one desktop.
This is not the same as 'sync' which just synchronizes your bookmarks, history, and passwords.
I want the look and placement of all the toolbars, etc to be the same on all the computers in my house.

Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session. 
Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows. 
You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time. 
You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Another possibility is to use:

Ah - If you are just using bindings between various objects from Interface Builder, you can reduce your application code a bit (sometimes quite a bit), but there is only so far you can go. Typically variables and routines are defined in your application that Interface Builder hooks into, so that your application code (usually Objective-C, but can be others) can use these variables and routines to determine what is happening in the user interface.
I'm not sure how up-to-date the project code is (or what programming code you are familiar with), but you can take a look at Apple's Cocoa Application Tutorial to see what is (usually) involved in creating an application.

How can I/Can I make Firefox the default .PDF viewer in Windows 7?

For the basic PDF viewing I do, Adobe Reader is just slow and annoying. I love using Firefox, but unfortunately I cannot set it as the default program to open PDF files. Even when I select Firefox after right clicking and select open with, Windows does not comply. Is there a config option I can change that will allow me to set Firefox as the default PDF reader.

You can not make Firefox the default for viewing PDF files for the entire Windows Operating System, only the default viewer from within Firefox. Like when PDF files that are downloaded from websites and displayed in Firefox; you can try using '''File > Open File''' from within Firefox to view PDF file that are already saved on that PC, but I'm not sure that will work - I haven't tried doing that.

Do you have to down load from the internet using apple's recover partition, every time you need to do a clean install? or can you make a copy of Mt Lion onto a USB stick and install off that?

Yes you can make a USB stick of Lion or Mt Lion. Use Lion Disk Maker after you download OS X from the internet.
For Lion you have to point the download to an external drive and watch when it completes and reboots the system to start the install disconnect the external. If you bought Mt Lion from the Mac App Store then you can download it from there and just cancel the install when it comes up on the desktop.
If you are downloading from the Recovery HD or from the Online Internet Recovery system, slightly different then the built in Recovery HD, then again you need to point it to an external drive and discoonect that drive when the system reboots to start the real install.
Then use Lion disk maker to create either a DVD disc or USB thumb of the install files.

I have activated all relevant options in FaceTime (either on the iPhone or Mac) but without success.

After trying a call via the iPhone in the "Message App" on my Mac - it says "iPhone and Mac must be in the same network"...
They definitely are... also I have logged in with the same Apple-ID's, etc.
Can anybody help?

Are there any settings which are fundamental on the iPhone, I have activated:
- iCloud Drive
- FaceTime (FaceTime and iPhone Mobile Calls activated)
The only strange thing - on Yosemite I can activate mobile phone number AND email in FaceTime whereas I can activate just my email in the FaceTime app on my iPhone...

You installed the ReloadEvery Extension rather and not downloaded it to disk.
To set the reload time for the tab you are viewing you can right-click the page and select a time.
