Can you print envelopes from Contact?

I followed your instructions, but when you check on any of the presets and look at what can and cannot be "preset" you see that these are the standard print settings, and have nothing to do with the dialogue box choices that you have when you first select the Style "Envelopes" when printing from Contacts.

The "Presets" dropdown menu above under the "Printer" dropdown menu only refers to regular print dialogue box options and not those you can select under "Layout", "LAbel" or "Orientation" from the special dialogue box for printing envelopes from Contacts.
And it is these settings that I woul dlike to fix in a preset so I don't have to repeat them every time I want to print an envelope or a label from COntacts.
Any ideas on fixing these options into a preset?
Of should I finally break down and learn something about AppleScripts and use them in a situation like this?

Not sure what you are saying, what printer? what laptop? what network? what have you tried? but it sounds like you do not have the printer driver for the printer you use, on your laptop.
Find the make and model and go to their website and look for the Mac Printer software and install it.
Perhaps you do have it installed but haven't found it. Look down the list next to Printer: in the print dialog.
I assume you have found the envelope templates in Pages' Template Chooser?

I used the Department field in my Address Book for the "The Abbott Family" and "Mr. & Mrs. John Jones" variations. I chose Department from the available fields, since it was unused by me. Then I used the Department field instead of the First Name, Last Name, etc. fields in the merge.

I am trying to print envelopes for holiday cards from my contacts book. I want to change the return address name ( from Jane Doe to the Doe Family) in a nice font that is appropriate for the holiday season rather than the board room. It is certainly not in the print details menu.

You can select to zoom the full page or only the text: View > Zoom > Zoom Text Only<br />
Firefox 3 can remember the zoom level site specific.

Can't print envelopes from Hallmark Card Studio 2014

I am using a HP desk top running Windows 8.1 64 bit . I previously ran Card Studio on a HP 6500 printer with no problems. Since installing the DeskJet 2540 printing cards presents no problem, they print perfectly. Envelopes do not print, they do not even feed. I made sure the Card Studio printer settings match the actual printer setting. I have also manually set the envelope size in the printer. Nothing seems to work. Going to Hallmark Tech just tells me I need to check to see if my HP drivers are up to date. Any suggestions? Thanks

To print on the envelope, please go to this guide, 'Paper Mismatch,' or 'Paper Size Mismatch' Error Message Displays When Printing, select your Operating System, then select Printing envelopes.

I'm pretty sure you can but others who use iOS will have to chime in here; I use Android. (And if others who are using Android are wondering: Yes, you can.)

How can you print something from icloud? I'd like to print a copy of my schedule for someone from the calendar, but print is disabled. Going around that, the pages in the preview are blank.

So far I am only seeing the possibility of being able to print my schedule from my computer at home in iCal.
It doesn't seem possible to save it as a PDF since the pages appear blank on the print preview. Is this just the broswer I am using, or is printing really not possible? I could share it to "anyone" (since this person doesn't have iCloud), but to be honest I don't feel very comfortable with having something like that "open" on the web. Even though it's only through that specific link, it still would exist out there for someone to potentially stumble onto it.
Any ideas, or is it just not possible to do this?

A bit of a pain, but you'll need to take a screenshot and print that, Skitch makes taking such screenshots much easier if you are interested.

Hello edwina7, many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

It is essential in our office for clients to have print-outs
to mark changes on in meetings. We have just started using
Dreamweaver but have previously created Photoshop documents to
submit to our programmer, causing us to present our websites in
print-outs before handing it over to programming.

Hi Ken, there is an app, Contact Sheet (http://itunes.com/apps/appiota/contactsheet) that will not only print your contacts, it can also print the pictures! This app can be used to back up, share, or extract information from your contacts. You can select which contacts to use by creating a group and you can choose which fields to include. So, for example, if you were creating a phone list to distribute to your bowling group, you could just include names and phone numbers and not include address or other information that people may not want shared. It can even be used to send group emails and group text messages. Please check it out!

In that case, it should be possible. I haven't tried this directly, but I believe it should work.
You'll need to get an actual AirPrint compatible Printer.

Once you have the compatible printer, using the Hotspot feature from the iPhone he'll have to create the Wifi bubble form the iPhone, and connect the Printer to that Wifi network.
Then connect the iPad to that same Wifi network provided by the iPhone. When all that is done, the printer should appear in any of the Apps that can Print under the Action Arrow button.
For instance in email, pressing the action arrow should show a Print option. In there the printer should appear.
Alternatively you can simply buy a wireless router and setup the network through there even if there is no internet attached. Connect the wireless printer to the router network, and connect the iPad or iPhone to that same wifi network to print.
