Can you print on a cd providing your printer supports it?

Do you have an application that's designed for printing on CD/DVD discs?  If your Canon has that capability it probably has an app that will do it.
I use Discus which works extremely well IMO.  It allows me to create some rather innovative labels:

  • Can you print from a printer by connecting your USB cable to the printer

Can you print from your iPad to a network printer using the USB cable?

    No.
The only way to print from an iOS device is to have an AirPrint-compatible printer on the same network that your iOS device connects to for WiFi.

  • Can you print from a text message?

trying to use hpeprint from my cell phone.  I could use from email but can you use from text messages?  trying to print a photo from the text.  Also, i did add it to my photos but the phone doesn't give me the option to print?
Once hpeprint is set-up can you print boading passes to the printer.  i don't have one that I can try but I would like to know for future uses.
    thanks, Jan

    Hey Jan,
I just tried sending a picture to my printer using a text msg. it did recieve the message but it printed out a message saying "This message was sent using the Picture and video messaging services from verizon wireless!" and it went on to give me a website to view the picture. It never printed the Picture i sent. It did however print the text message i sent... I would stick to sending email for pictures for now and try testing with your phone to see for sure.
    Hope this helps

Can you print from an iPad 2 using 3G in a home with no other computer or wifi by using an iPhone 5 hot spot connection if the printer has been set up in another place with live wifi? I know this question is loaded but my dad lives in a rural area and is wanting a printer to use occasionally. He doesn't want to deal with a computer and I keep his iPad updated for him at my home.  Please shed some light on this for us PLEASE. Thanks

In that case, it should be possible. I haven't tried this directly, but I believe it should work.
You'll need to get an actual AirPrint compatible Printer.
Check here for a list of Printers you can choose from.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
Once you have the compatible printer, using the Hotspot feature from the iPhone he'll have to create the Wifi bubble form the iPhone, and connect the Printer to that Wifi network.
Then connect the iPad to that same Wifi network provided by the iPhone. When all that is done, the printer should appear in any of the Apps that can Print under the Action Arrow button.
For instance in email, pressing the action arrow should show a Print option. In there the printer should appear.
Alternatively you can simply buy a wireless router and setup the network through there even if there is no internet attached.  Connect the wireless printer to the router network, and connect the iPad or iPhone to that same wifi network to print.

  • Can you print from an iPad through the airport express

can you print from an iPad 2 through the airport express

You can, if your printer is AirPrint compatible.
Check this Apple support document to see if your printer appears:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
If your printer is not compatible, you might still be able to print by adding an App like Print Central to the iPad.

  • Can you print to a lexmark interpret s405 from an ipad

Can you print from an ipad to a Lexmark Interpret S405?

iOS devices print using the AirPrint protocol. Your printer must support AirPrint. Check the list to see if your printer is shown to support AirPrint. Just because the printer is a Wi-Fi printer does not mean it supports AirPrint.

  • Can you print four months to a page in iCal?

Can you print four months to a page in iCal?

    Yes.
From any application you can print multiple pages on a single page. In the Print Dialog click on Copies & Pages to open up the drop down menu, then select Layout.
iCal defaults to one month per page, so select the 4 pages to a page Layout to get what you want.
    Does that answer your question?

  • Can you print from a iPad to an AirPrint printer without an Internet connection?

Can you print from a iPad to an AirPrint printer without an Internet connection?

    General Jer-
    Maybe.
If you can set up your AirPrint printer's WiFi to create an Ad Hoc Network, then your iPad can connect its WiFi directly to it and be able to print.
I have the HP D110 AirPrint printer.  As I recall, it was set up in Ad Hoc Network mode out of the box.  I had to change the setting in order to update its firmware over the internet.  You probably should do that as well, to be sure it has the latest firmware.
If you happen to have an old Apple AirPort WiFi base station, you can use its WiFi network for printing.  It does not require an internet connection to print.  Other brands may work as well, but some do not correctly handle the Bonjour data required by AirPrint.

  • Can you print from this?

Can you print off the ipad 2? If so is it universal with other printers or is there a specific type of printer?

If you have a wireless router in your home and you own a HP Printer that is Airprint enabled, you can print from your iPad.  If you do not have an Airprint enabled printer, but you do have a wireless printer, you can still print, but you'll need a 3rd party app.  Most printer manufacturers offer an app in the app store that offers limited printing abilities.  For a more robust option, I chose Print Central ($8.99 in the App Store), which I have been very please with.  So, the first question is do you have an HP e-Print printer?  If you do, tell us the printer model and we can check it against the Airprint list (or you can use the search bar and find the Airprint list).

  • Can you print from an I pad with a cable?

Can you print from an I pad with a gable?

First, AirPrint is not something you buy. It's built into iOS.
Second, John asked if you could print from an iPad with a cable:
Can you print from an I pad with a cable?
Third, in your reply to me, you said "you can" which would imply that one can print from an iPad via a cable, which again cannot be done.

  • Can you print from the iPad?

I ordered my iPad on 6/7 but won't get it till 6/24, its on back-order, DARN!! Anyway I have what may be a silly question: Can you print from the iPad using a USB cord from the printer? I pay bills online and like to have a hard copy of the receipt. Really looking forward to getting it.

To gloworm: regarding working with only one app open at a time, that should be taken care of when OS4 is available for the iPad - supposedly in the fall. As for using Air Sharing to print, you have to 1st get your files into the app via wifi from your computer. I have Air Sharing for both my phone and iPad and really like it. Once your files are in the app you just bring them up and touch the bottom left corner of iPad to bring up print. You can then print to any shared printer. I also use PrintCentral and like it for printing as well.
