You can make it look that way using many differnt methods.
The simplest is to make the border transparent and put a boolean behind the picture. Size the boolean so it looks like it is the border of the picture. Change the color of the boolean and you are on you way.

Can you take a snapshot or picture from IMOVIES? On my PC I simply paused the video and hit something that said snapshot and it was done.
I am struggling a little bit with IMOVIES as I have never had APPLE before. Like it, but am new to it.

I think you may be confused as to your terminology.
iMovie is an app that edits video.
I am guessing you are talking about just playing a video in Quicktime?
To do a screen grab on a Mac press Command+Shift+3
This will save the image to the desktop.
BTW you are posting in the iMovie iOS forum.
This forum is for editing video on an iPad or iPhone.

Settings>Notes>Font. You can choose one of three fonts for Notes but you cannot use more than one font at a time. When you change the font - it will change all of the text that you type to that font.
You cannot highlight text in Notes.

Can you reload the default HTTPS certificate for a Border Controller?

The HTTPS page does not work for the Tandberg Border Controller (Q6.3). HTTP is fine. I believe that the customer uploaded their own certificate which has now “broken” the HTTPS page.
So the question is – can you reload the default HTTPS certificate for a Border Controller?
There’s a handy button to do this on the VCS but not on the BC it seems. The only option I can see is for the customer to generate a “working” certificate and upload it, is this the only option?

Is it possible to programmatically change the width of columns in a table control\indicator ie to fit to width of the data or in my case the header information.

Create a property node (or reference) and use the 'Active Cell' property to select which column you want to change and then use the 'Cell size'--> 'Width' property to change the size.

Programmatically changing the TCP/IP address of Windows Vista / 7 / 8

Hi there!
I'm pretty new to LabVIEW (started 2 months ago) and still have a long way ahead of me, so please forgive me if anything that I ask is too basic.
I'm trying to change the IP properties of the PC via LabVIEW for some bigger software I'm working on.
I can easily do it in Windows XP using the System Exec function to call cmd.exe and then use netsh commands, as previously explained for example here:

But then, since I want to run my software in Windows 7 (& by extension to any Windows OS), I have a problem: netsh asks for elevated rights.
So, the next problem is: how do I run cmd.exe (or any other programm?, by extension) as administrator (from LabVIEW)?. Note that I'm using an account with admin rights. But I would prefer not having to disable the User Account Control configuration, and I don't want to force the user to any interaction (clicking in pop-ups, or right-clicking in anything), I want it to be as automatized as possible.
I did a bit of research and couldn't find anyway to do it, neither any command to run with cmd, so the two similar solutions that came to my mind are very rudimentary and kind of dirty:
Use DLLs to make LabVIEW press the keys necessary to open cmd running as admin via key shortcuts (using a variation of https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-29563 and the key shortcuts from here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/run-a-command-as-administrator-from-the-windows-vista-r...). Here, I open the Window menu (with LWIN), properly writes "cmd", and then uses CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER ok... but then the User Account Control appears and LabView keeps doing the commands (I want ALT+Y or LEFT & then ENTER)... without affecting to the UAC! If I make LabVIEW wait a bit and manually close the UAC I succesfully have the command prompt... but LabVIEW is still incapable of write the text that I'm giving it to him (the netsh commands). LabVIEW runs the software, but it's like the UAC & the command prompt are running in a higher? level and are not affected by LV. If I do the same over a .txt I succesfuly have the intended text. Any ideas about this?
Create a link to cmd.exe and change the properties to "Run as administrator", then use System Exec to call the link, expecting to open a command prompt with elevated rights, and then write the netsh commands either with DLLs (that might not work according to my first solution) or using the "standard input" of System Exec? (not sure if this is possible). But then System Exec gives me an error (code 2) when trying to execute the .lnk and so the command prompt does not open. The error code stands for "Error 2 occurred at an unidentified location. Possible reason(s): LabVIEW: Memory is full." Any idea about how to solve this?
The conclusion is that I'm stuck with two possible solutions none of them working.
Maybe there's a more simple solution that I didn't think about?

Any different proposals?

Let me see if I understand you. You are reading 14 bits in parallel and you want to know how long between transitions of just one of those bits - say bit 11. Is this bit number constant or can the number of the bit in which you are interested change?
Well, you could XOR the value from each read of the digital bits with the 14 bits you got from the previous read. If the resulting value of bit 11 is true, the state of bit 11 has changed. Use that flag to read/restart an interval timer. Of course the resolution of your measurement will be dependent upon the rate at which you are reading the 14 bit input. If you are only sampling the 14 bits every 500 msec, you obviously won't be able to measure intervals of less than 1/2 sec.

There is such an idea: right click a picture control, it can popup a menu, by choosing the menu item, I can execute a specific task. Is there any way to achieve the design?

I haven't used the OpenGL CVI addition for years, but IIRC there is (was?)
no callback associated to it. Meaning that some actions are defined within
the OpenGL control, such as rotation/zoom, but that's it.

Can you use the apple remote to control tv programs?

Can you use the apple remote control like a tv remote to control tv programs & DVDs on the computer? Everything I've found about the Apple Remote talks about using it for products other than desktops. I watch some regular tv shows on my iMac & would like to be able to use a remote control.

You should be able to control DVD playback now with the Apple Remote. You may be able to get a bit of functionality with web sites by using Remote Buddy by using it as a virtual mouse and keyboard:

but you're not going to get anything close to the sort of functionality you'd get with a remote and a TV.

iCloud, iTunes & Apps Stores can be assigned different AppleID's from the Settings app. I have my phone and my wife's set up this way for the very reasons you are describing. Works well.

Can you programmatically change properties of the Detailed Navigation?

Is there an SAP EP6.0 API call to allow one to programmatically change the width of the Detailed Navigation, or programmatically hide or unhide it? I realize that this can be preset, but I am interested in dynamically changing these values.

If you look to the sourceCode of your EP (rigthClick->show source) you'll see that some JavaScriptFiles are loaded. One of them is called:
"WAandNavPanel.js"
Inside this file are some nice functions like "collapsePanel()" and so on. I didn't try, but perhaps you can use them or they can show you the right way.

Can I programmatically control USB with LabVIEW?

I have a requirement to test a USB device. The test includes powering several of the devices off and on, i.e., power cycling for several hours. My plan is to accomplish by using a USB hub, breaking out the power circuit and running it through a relay inside of a DAQ. A neater solution would be to programmatically turn the USB device off and on. I know that the computer communicates with the device under test via USB and not the USB port itself. So I’m wondering if it’s possible with LabVIEW to accomplish this.

I'm not exactly sure what Eric was referring to as far as ActiveX. If it's with respect to the operating system, you're not going to find any ActiveX interface with the OS to do this. Unless he was referring to software programmability of the hub? Don't know.
With respect to power-cycling, a USB port can be disabled using OS calls. Thus, if you want to just turn off the whole hub you can disable the USB port that the hub is connected to. On Windows you can use a command-line utility called devcon to do this (search the forum as this has been mentioned before). The limitation is that devcon is not redistributable. This means that you cannot include it if you're giving this software to a customer. If, on the other hand you need to selective turn off the ports on the hub (i.e., to test individual devices), then you'd have to go back to the manufacturer of the hub and find out if they have a software interface to do this. Otherwise, it's the external power on/off approach via a relay or via a regulator as suggested by SnowMule.
EDIT: Additional caveat: devcon may not work under Windows 7. You did not indicate what operating system you're using. However, the OS calls that devcon makes are still there.
