Can you resize a slide without resizing text?

When I try to lengthen my slide, Keynote resizes all of my text, horribly distorting the layout. Is there a way to prevent Keynote from doing this?

I've been trying to replicate your problem without success.
Would you please tell us what you mean by "lengthen" or send an image of your distorted slide?
Normally, to change the size of a slide you use the Document Inspector > Slide Size and Select from available options. Even if you customize the dimensions, the text is usually well behaved.

using the "image size" option under the & button you can access a resize dialog.
this dialog allows you to choose a new width and height in pixels, and gives you an option whether to maintain proportions.
if you wish to resize an image without resizing the "canvas" this can be done using the "transform" option under the & button.

Wondering, can you resize a pic in iphoto? I didnt really see that option. I finally figured out that i had to click the "i" (information) icon to see the pic size, ex: 1240x526...that kind of thing. I was on a windows PC for the last 13 years and i would edit my pics in the paint program. I would take all pics and resize them to 50% both vertically and horizontally. I did this for 2 reasons, A.) i didnt need the monsterous file size for what i was doing. And, B.) to save space on the computer and the flash drive i saved my pics too. Id love to be able to do the same on my mac mini in iphoto....is it possible to resize in the fashion i described above, by precentage? Thanks so much. O

I'm just new at learning interactive pdfs in indesign so sorry if this is common knowledge. I know how to create a slide show on a page, but can you have two slide shows on the one page or more for that matter? (Ideally I need 3.) Each slide show has its own set of images and buttons.

There are 2 separate issues here:
- The Apple 30 pin to USB cable was redesigned to remove the 2 button squeeze feature pricesley because of your issue with the buttons falling off and consumers being unable to disconnect the cords. The newly redesigned cable removes these 2 side buttons for a shorter 30 pin connector that will work just fine in Apple devices. - The issue of your iPad reporting that it isn't charging is a DIFFERENT issue. Your USB cable is FINE. The reason you are getting this message is beacuse the Power Adaptor that the USB cable plugs into isn't providing enough electrical juice. If you are plugging it into your iPhone Power Adaptor (5W) it isn't strong enough to charge your iPad with it on (it will trickle charge if you have your iPad off). I'm creating a website for a community group. I'd like them to be able to update their annoucements and events without my help if they need to. For events, we can use a Google calendar but if they want to update the front page with an announcement or something, I'd like them to able to do so. Some of the people are ok with code but do not have access to Muse software.

Yes, I've got the Creative Cloud thing so I was going to host it there. It's a community garden that's just getting started and I'll be traveling for a few weeks this summer and I'm afraid that they may need to update things while I'm gone. She is denying everything in this text and said he altered it to show me what he wanted me to see . What I do know is , you can copy and paste and change the wording when sending that text to someone else , but he showed me his own phone with these incriminating texts.

How can you delete an app without losing saved data/progress? Is there a way through iCloud? I have an 8gb 4th gen iPod touch. I have a lot of music, so with 8gb, space is limited. Some apps I have take up 20-30 MB. Some of these games I don't play that much, but I don't delete them because I have made a lot of progress (levels, scores, acheivements). It would be nice to delete some of these 30 MB apps that take up precious space, and them redownload them in the future when I have more space, but without having to start the whole game over.
Also, I read somewhere that there might be a way to do this with iCloud, but I don't really know how.

Essentially no. Your watch has to connect to an iphone to be of any use.
Once you do pair your watch and phone and you are in a known wifi area, you can turn off Bluetooth and your watch SHOULD connect directly with wifi. I've found it doesn't always connect.
As of right now my bluetooth on the phone is OFF and I'm on wifi and can get notifications, play games, imessages, check instagram, etc etc.

I too don't like this. I would like to be able to use Touch ID for purchases on the App Store, Apple Pay, & Apple Store without having to use a passcode to unlock my phone. Why not allow the Touch ID to be app specific? Let us use it when we need it, not force us to use it for everything or nothing at all. That ***** that you have to set up a Passcode for your phone if you want to use Apple Pay. I didn't know about that. I haven't set that up yet because I'm waiting for them to support my credit card. Now I'm thinking I may not use Apple Pay. What a pain! Come on Apple, let us pick and choose what we want to lock down on our phones!!!

Apparently there is a way to save powerpoint slides as 300 dpi images, with some finagling, but not the mac version. Does anyone know how to do this in keynote? Or is there a relativley easy way to do it with free/cheap software? I can increase the dpi in photoshop, but it doesn't produce crisp images for obvious reasons.

You are using the wrong terminology to describe creating an image file
- dpi ( meaning dots per inch ) is the measurement used in printing to create the number of print dots per inch that will be deposited on to physical media like paper or film   This is done in the printer settings box of the print driver and is dependant on how the individual printer can print..
ppi ( meaning pixels per inch ) is the measurement you need to use when creating the number of pixels in a digital image file. You establish image resolution in Keynote using the inspector;
Keynote > inspector > document > slide size
I can increase the dpi in photoshop, but it doesn't produce crisp images for obvious reasons.
You can resample images in editing applications such as Photoshop or Painter but what you are doing is adding non image information to the image to increase pixel count, this is called noise. As you state this is not the procedure to use in your situation.
