Can you simultaneous sample multiple SCXI-1520 cards in multiplexed mode?
In parallel mode, you can have all channels sampled and held, and then have each
of your E or M series cards multiplex through each of the 8 channels of each card.
This yields simultaneous sampling on all channels at a faster rate in this "SCXI-1520
Parallel Mode" than you can derive from the "SCXI-1520 Multiplexed Mode."
Does the "SCXI-1520 Multiplexed Mode" also provide the capability to Simultaneous
Sample and Hold, all be it at a slower net throughput yield then the "SCXI-1520 Multiplexed Mode?"

Thank you for posting to the NI Forums! The SCXI-1520 User Manual does indicate the Simultaneous Sample and Hold can be used with Multiplexed Mode. Please refer to the last two paragraphs of page 69 and the first paragraph of page 70 for a better explanation. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have further questions!

I have a single PXI-1011 combo chassis in which I am putting 8 no. of SCXI-1520 cards. I have following doubts in configuring all the channels of scxi modules to DAQ boards as below:
1. For parallel mode interface, what condition should be met ? Is it the total no. of channels of DAQ boards equal to total no. of channels of SCXI modules or no. of DAQ boards equal to the no. of SCXI modules ?
2. Suppose i am putting 2 nos. of PXI-6071E (64 diff. channels), can i make one-to one connection of scxi channels (64 channels) to pxi channels(64 channels) ?
3. Or if i am putting 1 no. of 6070E(8 diff channel), can I multiplex zeroth channel of each scxi card to zeroth channe
l of PXI card. Similarly multiplexing remaining channels of scxi card to rest channels of pxi card will work ?

Each SCXI module being used in parallel mode needs to be cabled directly to a separate E-Series device. This poses a problem in your situation because the PXI-1011 combo chassis does not provide access to the back of the SCXI side where the connections need to be made. If you insert an E-Series device in the right-most PXI slot of your PXI-1011 chassis, and operate all of your SCXI modules in multiplexed mode, every channel from each of the modules will be multiplexed to a single channel on the E-Series device (a dedicated backplane channel used with the SCXI side of a PXI-1011 or PXI-1010 combo chassis).

Do I need an AirPort to attach to each set of speakers that I want to connect, or is there another kind of receiver I can hook up to the speakers that do not have any kind of WiFi or Bluetooth configuration?
You basically have two choices: 1) Place an AirPort Express base station at each of the speaker locations, or 2) Use an AirPlay-Ready receiver that offers whole-home audio support. The latter would require that all speakers be connected back to the receiver.
Also, if I am planning to set up the airplay by using the extended network configuration, then the Wifi base station does not need to be an AirPort station? I have Fios and had trouble last time I tried to hook up an AirPort in place of the router that they provided.
The AirPlay networking protocol requires either a wireless or wired connection between the AirPlay server (typically iTunes) and the AirPlay speaker (AirPort Express, Apple TV, or an AirPlay-Ready receiver or speaker). AirPlay will traverse over an extended Wi-Fi network regardless of which manufacturer hardware is used.

If you want to feed the output to multiple tables, you can do so, but you have to be cautious enough on which table to be used as a comparison table in this case. The comparison table provided inside Table Comparison will be compared against the input data set for generating opcodes (Insert / Update / Delete) to input rows.

That would be a good idea in any case.
As I said, the 10-fc12-045d error would not be due to the drive's being AFT, but more likely the discs are not being read properly. New discs can be obtained from Toshiba. Scroll down to Get Recovery Media here

I've been looking at both Matlab and LabVIEW for acquiring sound through a PC sound card. In Matlab you can change the sampling rate (8000, 11025, etc), the buffer size and the samples per trigger. In LabVIEW I noticed you can only change the first two using the SI VIs. How would I go about changing the samples per trigger?

Could you describe your application and what you are trying to trigger? You can look at all the sound VIs in the advanced section of the function pallette and you can click on any VI and get the context help by pressing ctrl H. That will give some information on the way the VIs are set up and the features they include.

Can you now have multiple Itunes accounts sharing content on one computer?

Hi - I was trying to find this information on line but cannot.
The last "big" Itunes update (11.2?) prevented multiple Itunes accounts from sharing content on one computer. Well, you can, but with consequences. For example, my husband purchased a movie rental with his Itunes account on our computer when he logged on to Itunes, but then I could not download any Itunes content for 30 days when I logged on to my account. I no longer purchase any content from Apple because of this. I was hoping this feature has been discontinued – it prevents households from purchasing Itunes. We never pirate or steal any content at all. In fact, this feature forces us out of the Itunes universe to purchase movie rentals and music elsewhere.
Not just trying to complain, really. Legitimately want to find out if this rights policy still exists before we both try to rent or purchase anything from Itunes.

No. The 90 day limit ONLY applies to redownloading purchases from iTunes..
So if she were to redownload purchases from the father's account then she'd have to wait 90 days to redownload form her own account. and the computer can be authorized for multiple iTunes account (pretty sure it's 5) . You don't need to later reauthorize for first account if you authorize for a different account.
