Can you start Illustrator CC2014 with more RAM?

I am using Illustrator to edit very large SVG files (>150MB), and the software is extremely slow and stops responding periodically, while it (slowly, slowly) acquires more RAM. Is there a way to start Illustrator with a larger amount of RAM, e.g. 8 or 16 GB?
I'm working on a MacPro with 32 GB of RAM, two 6-core processors, an NVIDIA Quadro K5000 video card (4GB RAM) and tons of free disc space. It's very frustrating to see Illustrator not taking advantage of the available machine resources! I scoured the web for solutions and came up empty-handed.... Any tips?

There is nothing you can do. Even if you could assign a fixed memory range, the program would still need to load the objects one by one and render them, so it actualyl doesn't even make sense to think of it that way...

I've written a review of a podcaster. I get that individual episodes can have a star rating. After the recent Apple update when I went to review and rate the same podcaster my old review I wrote popped up. I actually like that practice.
My questions centers on the "written review" of a podcast
1. Do I have to erase my old review and accept a new review?
2. Does this practice help or hinder the ratings for the podcaster?
Basically, I'm gettiing podcasters asking me to leave another 5 star review. I get the marketing practice but it seems if I've rated them once then by doing it again I'm skewing the stats for that podcaster and the community?

You have to be signed into the iCloud account you are trying to track in order to track it, either on icloud.com or on the Find My iPhone App. If you added them all to your iCloud account, they would all have full access to all your synced data: contacts, calendars, notes, photo stream photos, your iCloud email account, etc. They would also all be backing up to your iCloud account, which would no doubt require a large storage upgrade to hold them all. Also any data they sync with the account would be merged with yours so you would all end up with each other's contacts, calendars, etc. on your devices.
So it's really not a good idea to try to put them all on your account. Instead, you'll just need to get everyone's iCloud login credentials if they expect you to be able to log in and track all of these devices.

What will I notice with more RAM? or FCE HD?

Right now FCE2 seems to be laboring between tasks. Since I just upgraded to the intel it is kind of a disappointment because my g4 Ibook never blinked (at all)... I like the new mac but seems like the old one handled more with less processor and same ram... Is it the older FCE2 or do I need more RAM? Would like to get dialed in for performance... so I can get more work done...

FCE2 is running under Rosetta. Since it is not a Universal Binary program it will not work as well as FCE3. 512 Mb ram is not much even for running FCE3. You would get better performance with more RAM. RAM is very cheap right now, I paid $39.00 US for a 1 GB stick recently. More RAM would help your FCE2 run better. You would also find it improves a lot of other things on your Mac.

You may need to run the computer in XP mode to install it (you may try in normal mode first). Here is how:

Once installed, you should be able to get it to run with the PC in normal mode as follows (first run):
1) RightClick the shortcut;
2) Click Properties;
3) Click Compatibility;
4) Tick Run this program in Compatibility mode for, then select XP in the dropdown list;
5) Start AI9.
After that, you can just DoubleClick the shortcut.

Sorry. We can't help you. It's no longer an iPhone. Apple won't touch it.
Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked.

I can't start Illustrator CC on Windows 8.1 64bit.

I've installed some apps (Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Muse) from Cloud and they work correctly. When I try to run Illustrator there's an infromation on screen (error raport) that Illustrator can't work 'cos of system operation language (cannot run with Unicode).
I don't know what to do in this case?
My system is Windows 8.1 64bit.
Language is Polish, could it be bacause of that?

That would be a good idea in any case.
As I said, the 10-fc12-045d error would not be due to the drive's being AFT, but more likely the discs are not being read properly. New discs can be obtained from Toshiba. Scroll down to Get Recovery Media here
